GM Bill introduced himself to my boss and I today, and the guy couldn't be more professional, friendly, and genuine. I have NEVER left a bad review in my life....well until this morning. While I can't review the quality of the food, I CAN say that I will probably never go back. This morning at about 10:45 myself, husband and small child went to Honeygrow. I heard their kale banana smoothie is amazing, and being a smoothie lover, I wanted to try it out! So we walk in the door (it's not locked), there are what appears to be customers sitting down having maybe a business meeting of some sort. So we go to the computer to order, are kind of looking around because no one greeted us, asked if we needed anything....nothing. (there were about 6 employees literally in front of us)... so I asked a girl what we do?? (again, never have been there before), she just looks for what seemed to be a manager or person in charge. That woman just said "we aren't open" .......... I said "oh, ok. so we can't order smoothies right now?" she again said "no, we don't open for 20 minutes" (it was 10:45) I said "oh, well i figured since the door was open?" she said "the door is ALWAYS open" That's all she said... ...................hmmmm....ok?? And we left and went to whole foods (something i feel a lot of people will end up doing) It was a cold experience. Even a smile from the lady would have been appreciated! Let's say they physically could not make a smoothie 10 minutes early (you know they could),but just a kinder, and more informative response to a customer would have been appreciated. I've eaten at several Honeygrows in 3 or 4 states. This is the only one that doesn't set aside your mobile order on a shelf. Hard to imagine it's more likely to be stolen in Cherry Hill than in the Philly or the campus Delaware location. They prioritize they're to-go and eat-in orders which totally undermines the purpose of streamlining mobile orders. You have to hound them for attention and ask for them to check on your order which is a pain. If they see you standing under the mobile app sign they should automatically address your order which they don't. They have mobile line blindness. DEFINITELY A MANAGEMENT ISSUE. No one is coming in before their order is designated to be ready, so they're only clogging the restaurant. As soon as I find a better mobile salad situation, I'm gone. Lastly, not specific to this location but irritating all over are the horrible salad bowls. They were bad before and they just switched to a more shallow, worse bowl. All dressing comes on the side and the salad is packed in the small bowl. Expect to make a mess of your car or desk trying to toss the thing. read more

Went to Honeygrow to try it out after hearing it was good from a couple of friends. We went in around 8:15 pm on a Saturday night. The touchscreen ordering is nice, and easy to customize an order. I went with one of the pre-made meals, and my girlfriend customized her order. There were about 5 people "working" at this time, but only one was cooking. The rest of the workers were cleaning (1 worker) or hanging out with their friends (the other 3 of them). It took approximately 20 minutes for our order to be cooked, due to the one worker cooking mine first, then my girlfriends. My meal was cold by the time I was able to eat it. The portion sizes were low, and my meal was super bland- nothing special whatsoever. Definitely not worth the price read more

Love that there is a Honeygrow in SJ finally!! Perfect place to grab a healthy lunch...great, fresh ingredients, locally sourced, and delicious! Fresh berries or fruits for the honey bowl, combined with local honey, nuts or coconut topping, and of course a little whipped cream! My favorite stir fry is the red curry made with beef instead of tofu... It's the perfect portion was a decent amount of spice as well, and it's nice that they offer you the option of adding extra protein (an additional meat or seafood or tofu) if you want... It is a convenient location if you live in the Suburbs for sure. I saw this place on HOT NEW BUSINESSES on yelp and I was compelled to go!! The place was decorated very well with soft colors and stainless steal fixtures...I came for the famous smoothie but could not get it due the smoothie having bananas, which I am deadly allergic too...So my girlfriend got the smoothie and enjoyed it so much...that is good enough for me to rate this place a 4...I loved the electronic ordering system...the salads were fresh and made right there to order...the only reason this place does not get a five was because the noodle dishes were made with frozen noodles...I am huge natural person and I try not to eat too many frozen things due to preservatives and salt content..my friends laugh at me cause I have absolutely no canned food in my house...I expect the same things from a natural restaurant!!! read more

I came here today for the first time. They have kiosks where you pay and order, which is very convenient. It was also super clean. I ordered a stir fry with mushrooms, string beans, chicken, red onion, broccoli, and egg noodles, with the spicy garlic sauce. It was delicious! I was thoroughly impressed, and I would definitely come back. The chicken was juicy, the sauce was very flavorful, and the vegetables were crunchy. You could tell that everything was fresh. The place was packed, but they were still fast. My bowl was about $10, which I have no complaints about. I would rather pay $10 for a nice, fresh, meal than lukewarm garbage. The prices are good for the quality of food that you're getting. Next time, I'll probably try the honey bar. read more

honeygrow has seriously fallen off recently. First, their tofu is horrible now. It is no longer spicy or even remotely firm. The tofu barely tastes cooked. I used to be a huge fan of it! I get the sweet soy five spice sauce and I have never had a problem with honeygrow and their sauce, but they literally never put enough. I order the regular portion of sauce and I open my take out container and there is basically no sauce (even at the bottom of the container). I always have to order extra sauce which costs more, and then, I actually receive the right amount of sauce on my stir fry but now I have a whole extra container of it! I don't know but honeygrow has just been bad every time. I used to love this place but it keeps failing me. Also PLEASE bring back the pickled cucumber garnish!! read more

Honey Grow is one of the best options in center city for a quick and healthy meal. Unfortunately, this means that the line often goes out past the door when you come at lunch. They offer a premade juice, and you can create your own salad or noodle stir-fry. What makes Honey grow different from other salad places is that they cook and season their veggies, instead of adding plain ones. This makes the meal much tastier. You order from a touch screen, and there is even a cool option to look up previous orders using a credit card, making it even quicker to get it and out. read more

I'm a huge fan of Honeygrow, so I was thrilled to see them move into my own neighborhood in Cherry Hill. I was eagerly awaiting the grand opening, and finally got to try it on a late-ish Saturday night. The food is just as delicious as any other location, but the speed here is terribly slow. I wasn't sure what was going on, considering there were only two other people waiting for food ahead of us, but it appeared they had been waiting far longer than we had been. Honeygrow, as a (mini)chain, is phenomenal. lightning fast, efficient, awesome concept. at this location, however, my wife got food poisoning from eating the bbq chicken stirfry. i suspect that the staff here are a bit haphazard with raw meat (or the bbq sauce has been sitting out and long since infected by some bacteria.) either way, they need to do better with sanitary kitchen practices. read more

If this is a franchised location, then the franchisee should be re-trained and learn how to staff the store during a busy lunch period. If the store is company owned, then I suggest some corporate genius get over there and see what's going on. Went there at noon today with close to two dozen waiting for their meal. They have two salad stations with just one person making the salads. He had orders coming out of the printer one after another and behind the eight ball. I waited over 15 minutes for my order while my wife was waiting in the car. She was furious with me when I got in the car for the long wait. (Not a fun ride home) The store should have been staffed with 3 more on the front line making salads. I asked the person at the register if they had several call outs today and replied no. Apparently this is their system. This is not a way to run a busy store. They need more help and one person making salads is ridiculous and unacceptable. There are many other choices in Cherry Hill that know how to properly staff their store. That being said, their salads are really delicious and probably the best in the area. The trick is to go there between 11--11:30 before they get busy. The salads deserve 5 stars, but just really annoyed with the staffing. read more

I like to think of honeygrow as "the next Chipotle," in the sense that you get to choose everything that goes in your meal and it's also organic/locally sourced whenever possible. You order on touch screen computers, so it's easy to choose a "suggested" meal or create something of your own. I've actually never chosen a "suggested" meal but every stir fry I've made has been pretty great. Last night I made a spinach salad with whole wheat noodles, shrimp, avocado, a handful of other veggies with a jalapeño-ranch dressing and it was delicious. I think I have an addiction, and it's to their noodles. Came here on a weekday night for dinner with my niece and wife. Not too busy and everything came out really good. My go to dish lately have been the whole wheat noodles with the chili garlic sauce. SOOOO addicting. It has a nice kick to it and all the ingredients that I chose (I change it up) are so fresh. I've also tried the red coconut curry sauce and the sweet soy ones. Both are also very good. Tons of variety here, so you will never really get bored. read more

I've always loved the food and service at this Honeygrow ever since it opened. I was really disappointed by both when I went in Sunday 9/8 somewhere between 5 and 6 pm. No one greeted me or even looked up. It was a slow evening and one person was loudly training another. I ordered my usual Red Curry stirfry. The noodles were so dry...like they was cooked yesterday. The tofu was hard and dry...more like a crouton. I also ordered a Honeybar--the apple crumble. They were out of roasted peaches. Must have been out of the crumbles too as there were none in it. Then the person bagging was putting the wrong orders in the wrong bags. There were 3 people there besides me--not a huge rush. I heard some bickering among the workers as I was leaving. This is sad. I've never been to the Philadelphia location, but liked the concept of using the touchscreen to select only the ingredients you want (ah yes, the high maintenance customer who wants quick AND healthy). Pay with a credit card and you pay right at the touchscreen and don't even need to talk to a person. However, a staff member was there to point you in the right direction and help with any questions. They offer custom salads, stir fry, smoothies and dessert-ish honey-granola-fruit combos. The food took a while, but hey, it's a custom order. Handful of outside tables with a lovely view of the drive aisle. Kind hazardous crossing from the parking lot into the restaurant. I was very excited to try the new Cherry Hill location after visiting the location in Philadelphia last summer. You can order salads, stir-fry and more at the touch screens. The food is custom made, but there are suggested combinations available. The idea of honey grow is great: fresh healthy food made to order. The wait was a bit long for my food because they weren't processing the slips in order, but it was crowded, so I understand. I had a custom stir-fry and was not too impressed, but I think I will be back to try one of their staple creations. The food was a bit pricy, however you do get enough to have a full meal as leftovers if you want. read more

I love how you can touch screen order so you don't feel rushed on deciding and all of the ingredients are fresh. We had a great dinner here this last Saturday night (5/2/15). It was late but we wanted something light to eat and Honeygrow was a great choice. I had the Cobb Salad but left out the apples and added edamame and sweet potatoes. I substituted the Vinaigrette for the Jalapeno Ranch dressing which added a nice spice. He had the Persampiere salad, his usual. We both enjoyed our salads but I think he enjoyed our shared Stir Fry a bit more than I did. Overall, the taste of the Sesame Garlic stir fry is good and the ingredients are high quality, I found it to be a little bit oily for my taste. The sodas are nice and we both really liked the Black Cherry. I really enjoyed my first visit to Honeygrow and am looking forward to our next visit. I LOVE the touch screens! They are HD and user friendly. I like that can easily add or remove ingredients. While the price is a tad high, the overall quality of the ingredients, super friendly staff, and clean and bright dining area makes it worth it. read more

I spotted Honeygrow while shopping at the Whole Foods located a few stores down. I decided to bookmark it and stop by another day. So happy I found this place! It will be my go to lunch spot! I have been there a handful of times, each time ordering the exact same meal. Each time I ordered my food (rice noodles, red coconut curry, veggies, eggs, nuts, cilantro, and shallots the results were different: not enough sauce, or undercooked peppers, or missing the shallots, or something else. The place is super nice, very chill. The ordering process is very easy with plenty of terminals for your order to be processed quickly. However, as others have mentioned, the quality is inconsistent. Sometimes the food is way over cooked, sometimes its just right. Last time i was there i was super disappointed as the CYO stir fry was too dry. I suspect it depends on who it prepping the order and their training. I will still go there for a change of pace from all the other chains, i just wish the quality was more consistent so i could go there more often. read more

Honeygrow is a little crazy when it comes to ordering because everything is done on a tablet. There are premade options (I personally like the salads more than the stir fry), but they can be customized any way to your liking. They have so many different options that you can add to your salads and the quality of the ingredient were very fresh. Don't be afraid to go bold and try something new because they will get it done for you! The honey grow parfait is a bit expensive, but you pay for the quality of it. I thought it was good, but I don't think it's worth the price so I won't be ordering it again. When you place your orders make sure you keep an eye on the price because for each section of your salad you can add a certain number of choices/ingredients before the price starts to increase. read more

Upon our arrival I wasn't expecting anything great, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a salad with arugula and walnuts ( forgive me I forget the actual name of the dish), but I'm super picky and I was able to substitute ingredients in the salad for ingredients I eat.
