Maybe I should have read the reviews before coming here. Some people told me good things so this was always a pllace I had been meaning to check out. Sadly, it wasn't a great experience for me. I walked in and nobody greeted me. I saw other customers using the kiosk so I figured that's how you order here. I ordered the sesame garlic stir fry. It came with whole wheat noodles, steak, sesame garlic sauce, mushrooms, and sesame seeds. I didn't enjoy it and for the price it was a tiny amount. First, I would like to say that I accidentally stumbled across this place and am SO glad I did!!! Located in Montrose Crossing and tucked between Cava and Five Guys, this is such a gem!!! Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the staff working. The restaurant was clean and it smelled great. Once I approached the counter, the staff worker came from around it and guided me on how to order. She even took the time to walk me through how to work the pad and how to explore all of the stir fry options. She even let me try 2 of the sauces! They had menu items that were ready for ordering but I chose the create your own option. They provide healthy options such as brown rice or whole wheat noodle options. For anyone vegetarian, creating your own will likely be the way to go. I'm not sure if there are vegans options there (I may have overlooked it). They even have dessert options! To wash down your meal, I would highly suggest getting the strawberry guava lemonade! It wasn't too sweet and super tasty! My bowl was great. It was fresh and was in a hefty portion. They also of course have take out options. I recommend this spot 100%! read more

I'm only giving two stars because the male server was very nice. They gave baby portions and it was like a child size serving. I learned my lesson. They need to get smaller boxes if they are not being generous with servings for almost $20.00. If you go, make sure you let them know that you're not a child and you expect a decent serving. read more

Never had a bad experience at honey grow and this time did not disappoint! I always go for their stir fry since I have a lot of salads and I think the stir fry is more unique. I'm pretty sure I got the garlic butter and my boyfriend got a custom bowl but both were delicious! We tried getting a parfait and I don't know if we messed up the order but it ended up just being fruit and no yogurt...oh well the fruit was still good! The staff were really friendly at this location and it's super spacious inside so there was lots of seating. read more

Came on for lunch today. Order from a kiosk, which displays pics of the entrees and allows for easy modifications to the salad and stir-fry options. I ordered the Cold Sesame Noodle salad and my partner got the Chesapeake Crab. We didn't order any modifications from the main ingredients. The food was prepared quickly and I received a text when the meal was ready. We were sitting outside and I started walking in to get the food, but a Staff person was already delivering the tray with a smile on her face. Very welcoming and appreciated. My entree was terrific. Very large portion with 8 decent-sized shrimp and a bunch of ingredients, including pineapple, edamame, crunchy fried onions and egg-white noodles. Really delicious. My partner really enjoyed their crab dish. I saw lots of crab in the bowl and the Old Bay flavor was prominent. Seating outside and inside is comfortable. The inside is well lit. There's a soda machine for fountain drinks, allowing for unlimited refills. My one criticism about the meal is that the salad, which is large, comes with a single small cup of salad dressing on the side. The dressing itself is very good, and I would have liked a second one. But that would have been an extra charge. I feel like that's nickel-and-diming. It's a large salad and, for $15.25, they could spring to offer a second container of dressing. I'm not going to knock off a whole point on the score for that, but if I could, I would knock off a half-point. read more

i'm not sure how I missed this place but I definitely hope we can get one near me and Frederick. This place was amazing. I was able to go to the kiosk and place my order myself. Which I enjoyed because it gives the staff more time to pay attention to the details of making the orders. It was very clean and well kept. I love the customer service of the staff they brought over the food to the table and we're very polite. Loved all the options for food and was super impressed with the dessert options. it was a nice touch to have a restaurant provide customers with informational where food was sourced from and into habit where customers can get easy access. read more

That's incredible! I previously went to another Honeygrog and they gave me food with onions, and I'm allergic. Today I wanted to give them another chance, and it was truly the best decision. I love ordering from Honeygrow! The portions are very generous, making it a great value for the price. There are tons of customization options, so you can build your perfect meal. I've tried both their salads and stir-fry, and both have been great. The sesame garlic sauce is especially flavorful and adds the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet. The Rockville location is convenient, with plenty of parking available in the shopping center. The inside seating is clean and modern, with a good amount of space if you want to dine in. Feel sorry though for the person who's giving the person at the register a hard time :(... but not going there. Our greens were fresh and the toppings savory--if on the salty side. Good marks also for their paper and recyclable containers. The touchscreen menu & payment stations are okay, but quickly become unwieldy when business piles up and people have to edge/push past each other to get to an open one. Though I'll turn to one of the nearby specialty noodle shops first for noodles, honeygrow is certainly one of the best salad options in the area. read more

I will first start out by saying I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my meal at Honeygrow and I can't wait to come back again. While doing some holiday shopping in Rockville I noticed the honeygrow logo next to Cava and wondered what it was. The simplicity made me curious and the smell when I walked inside instantly hooked me. I could tell that their dishes had flavor based on how yummy it smelled inside. Honeygrow is a customizable stir fry spot that originated in Philly back in 2012. When you first walk in it's really airy and bright. You head straight over to one of their kiosks to order where they offer photos and descriptions that are super easy to navigate through. I decided on their Spicy Garlic stir fry (spicy garlic sauce, freshly made egg white noodles, roasted chicken, bell peppers, broccoli, red onions, pineapples, parsley). During the process of ordering they ask for your phone number so that you get updates on when your order is ready, which for me only took about 8 minutes or so. When I received my takeout order it appeared to be such a small portion size but once I brought it home and took it out of the container I quickly realized it is the perfect amount of food. The sauce, to noodle, to veggies ratio is perfect. The stir fry packs a punch with the spice but also simmers down when you eat some of the pineapple. Man... I was really impressed by this place. It's wayyy better than Noodles & Co which is what I would eat during college back in the day. This place is 10x better and you can customize your own bowl too. Whoever is working on their design team too... kudos to them because all the holiday themed packaging was super cute. BUT, they get you with add-ons (pretty smart). I got double chicken to add protein. It added 7 dollars and was a TINY portion of chicken. I mean, like maybe 3 tbs. Was in the mood for something sweet and they were the only place open that made sense at the time lol. So I tried it, all we had were the desserts so I may need to come back and try the actual food. It's basically overpriced fruit with whipped cream and idk why I thought it there was going to be some ice cream in there but it wasn't lol.
