I stop here a lot for food. Quick service and i love their diverse menu. Their breakfast is the best and i love ordering the breakfast special since its a platter with different things. My other favorite food to get here is the asian meal...its tasty and delicious! This is located nm inside a business building but accessible to visitors. They sell snacks nd other items as well as hot and cold food. I would recommend this place to anyone

Nothing special. It is like a cafe for personnel to eat during work. I did like the Philadelphia steak and cheese

Place is so nicely decorated and very quiet during lunch. Our server, wish I remember his name, was the best. I think he was floored I was dining with my twin brother. lol. Always came to check in with us and refilled our drinks and was very charming. The food we had was cooked so well with great seasoning, I couldn't have been happier. I had steak the other night so I stuck with fish this time and it was flavorful with lots of butter too. Mashed potatoes was so creamy and tasty and buttery. It's almost like a puree. My brother had a steak and was cooked to his liking with a great char too. Highly recommend this new steakhouse; I believe it's from the Cava brothers who has two other restaurants in the same shopping complex.

That was me here…read more This Pike & Rose gem in North Bethesda is everything you hope for in a neighborhood spot -- fresh, imaginative Mediterranean-inspired food, a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere, and the kind of place you immediately start planning to revisit. Everything I tried was fantastic, from the perfectly prepared chicken kebabs to the cod with farro. The blackberry vodka cocktail was beautiful and delicious, and the saffron steamed milk with ginger for dessert was absolute perfection. The entire concept feels current, welcoming, and effortlessly cool without trying too hard. Can't wait to return the next time I'm back in town for meetings!

Although he will lead most times, I pick one place every weekend so we can check it off together. This Friday (5/16) I picked Julii! While I thought the menu was limited, it does the job. I wanted Branzino and had that in my mind the whole day but was disappointed that it wasn't on the menu. Welp, y'all know I love a burger. Service was fantastic! Ambiance feels like stepping into a French‑Mediterranean boutique café that someone elevated into a luxury dining room. It's warm, intimate, and softly glamorous without trying too hard. Let's get into it! Chicken Kabob - Seasoned perfectly over rice! Really good! Burger - Added bacon and mushrooms- Absolutely delicious! Drinks were delicious! No apps because I wasn't that hungry! I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted by the staff working. The restaurant was clean and it smelled great. Once I approached the counter, the staff worker came from around it and guided me on how to order. She even took the time to walk me through how to work the pad and how to explore all of the stir fry options. She even let me try 2 of the sauces! They had menu items that were ready for ordering but I chose the create your own option. They provide healthy options such as brown rice or whole wheat noodle options. For anyone vegetarian, creating your own will likely be the way to go. I'm not sure if there are vegans options there (I may have overlooked it). They even have dessert options! To wash down your meal, I would highly suggest getting the strawberry guava lemonade! It wasn't too sweet and super tasty! My bowl was great. It was fresh and was in a hefty portion. They also of course have take out options. I recommend this spot 100%!

It feels like a little slice of California in Bethesda, making it a great spot for a casual lunch, brunch, or dinner with friends. We started with the Potato Salad Deviled Eggs and Jalapeño Cornbread. Both were excellent, with the cornbread being a standout. Warm, flavorful, and served with a generous dollop of butter. For my entrée, I ordered the Herbed Chicken Breast Paillard, which was light, fresh, and well-seasoned. The arugula and lemon complemented the dish nicely without overpowering it. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the cookies for dessert. They definitely lived up to the hype and were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The only area that fell short was the service. Our server was incredibly friendly, personable, and pleasant throughout the meal, but service felt inconsistent. There were several stretches where we didn't see our server for an extended period, which resulted in longer waits for our entrées and even getting a dessert menu. One example that stood out was when I asked for a to-go sleeve for one of my cookies. Unfortunately, it never arrived, and after waiting for a while, I ended up walking over to the bakery counter myself to request one. It was a little awkward because I was questioned about whether the cookie was actually mine before I could get the sleeve. While I understand the need to verify purchases, the situation likely could have been avoided had the original request been fulfilled. None of these issues were major enough to ruin the experience, but they did take away from what otherwise would have been a seamless visit. Overall, I'd still recommend Summer House Santa Monica for the atmosphere, quality food, and dessert selection. With a little more attentiveness on the service side, this could easily be a five-star experience.

I had to wait a few minutes for the host to return to the stand, but was seated promptly and a 4-top table in the center of the dining room. Service was attentive and polite. My water glass stayed full throughout and she helped me navigate the differences among several espresso martini options from the bar. The dining room has lovely high ceilings and the bathrooms were pristine. I ordered the Costa Mesa salad and added chicken. This brought the cost of my entree to $32 -- which I did not feel met the value for what I was served. The food was good, but there certainly wasn't enough of it or ingredients that I felt warranted the $32 price tag. I also took home four cookies ($5-$6 each) to share with my family. The cookies were good, but again, not worth the price tag. A return visit is probably not in the cards for me any time soon. This is a convenient spot to the iPic Theater and other "downtown" rockville spots so it might be nice to get brunch and then go to a movie or do some shopping. Parking is in a garage nearby.
