This was my first visit at any Sweetgreen. The staff was friendly. I wasn't sure what to order so I decided to go with the BUFFALO CHICKEN BOWL with dressing and hot sauce on the side. Ingredients were fresh. Good portions of chicken. Initial impression was the salad was small but it definitely was more than enough for lunch. The flavors were great. Let me start off with the good things! The customer service was actually pretty good! I had a male attend me and he was super patient + friendly. The bad: As the reviews stated: the portions served here are actually crazy. I spent on the salad + food & drink which came to $20. When I opened my salad bowl, I was honestly super disappointed at how little food I've gotten. I went back home to actually measure the food with my food scale, and come to find out that they serve well under the serving portion that's listed on the website! The serving portion should be around 319g, and I only got 293g, which is 26g less! Not only will I be disputing the charge, I will not be coming back to this location I haven't been to sweet green in a while since I moved from the downtown Silver Spring location, in which they served what is an appropriate amount of food for the price. I've always been to the Sweetgreen in downtown Silver Spring, and it looks like I will continue to go to that location. I'm not the type of person to be completely biased and avoid going to places solely for the reviews, but the previous reviews has a very accurate perception of what this location is. read more

These guys are terrible. They started an order, told me midway they ran out of the steak on my order. They offered to replace it with something else, and then charged me extra. I shouldn't have come here given the reviews. Hopefully this adds to the collection so that people avoid this place. Mediocre food for the price as well. read more

With Sweetgreen & my 3rd order within the past week, I was pleased with all aspects of my order. I work at Pike & Rose so everyone kept telling me I needed to try sweetgreen. I finally caved and came here for lunch. Even though it was lunch time (around 1pm) the store was almost empty. There was maybe one person in there. I spent a few minutes looking at the menu. I could choose between a hot bowl or a salad. I decided on a Kale Caesar but I asked if I could modify the salad only because I really don't like Kale all that much. They said sure, I could modify whatever I wanted. Here's why I give it 3 stars. It's perhaps my fault. I did not like the lime in the salad what so ever. She asked me if I wanted light, medium or heavy dressing so I feel like she should have asked me if I wanted light or heavy lime juice lol rather she squeezed the entire lime into my salad. I no idea I didn't like lime so much. I feel like it ruined the whole salad. The arugula and romaine were just soggy with lime juice and Caesar (I got medium dressing). I couldn't even take the chicken or the pita crisps because the lime overwhelmed the whole salad. I just wasn't impressed. If I do go back, I will hold the Kale & Lime juice. I may even try the Chicken Pesto Parm bowl they have. read more

My order was ready even sooner than expected. I decided to try the signature 'Naomi Osaka bowl', which is only available to order through the app and features warm quinoa, baby spinach, cilantro, tomato, tortilla chips, raw carrots, goat cheese, blackened chicken, avocado, lime-cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette, and sweetgreen hot sauce. The location itself is situated within Pike and Rose. Parking is a bit of a pain because you have to park in the garage and its often crowded. But I was able to quickly pick up my order and be on my way. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The salad itself was delicious! I'd definitely try it again. read more

I was complaining about it to my sibling who gets Sweetgreen all the time (except from a different location), and she said at least they fill them up... so I sent her a pic of my salad (taken at the restaurant as you can see by the forks on the side, so I had not touched it yet) and she was liek.. wow. that's not full at all, that's half a salad. If you're going to charge almost $15 for a salad after tax, then at least fill it properly. I've signficantly reduced my trips to Sweetgreen because I've noticed they've gotten stingier and stingier (and more expensive) over the years, especially compared to Chopt and Cava. The only upside of this location was it was very clean and organized. But stay away if you actually want to get value from this location. For some reason the website will not let me post a photo of the salad but trust me, it is half empty with noticeable gaps from the top. read more

Sweetgreen never fails me! I ordered superfood salad and my sister ordered spicy thai salad- both were AMAZING. I was so happy enjoying my salad when halfway through, my sister realized that they forgot my beet hummus in my salad. So the sweetgreen staff apologized and gave me a scoop of beet hummus which was a beautiful pink color! So my son found a $100 gift certificate near Sweet Green at Pike and Rose in Bethesda and called them to see if they could connect the certificate number with a credit card and somehow return the amount to the purchaser. My first time at sweetgreen! The service was very fast, and the person helping us was very polite and friendly. I got the shroomami, with a quinoa instead of rice. I really enjoyed the bowl, and the sesame dressing was delicious. The portabello mushrooms were also on point. However, I don't think the bowl was worth how much it cost - the ingredients were all fairly cheap and it was pretty much a glorified salad. It also wasn't a lot of food. This is your typical sweetgreen with no frills. It was very clean in there and even though they were very busy because it was lunch time, the line still moved pretty quickly. I ordered the spicy thai salad and put my own little spin on it. The staff was very friendly and patient with me as I asked to try the different dressings (I haven't been to sweetgreen in a while). I do like they have the wind in where you can see how they clean and prepare all of the food to show how fresh the food is. I'm glad there is a sweetgreens location in Pike and Rose because it's super convenient for me to pop over there for lunch. read more

I feel like the salads are pretty hit or miss, especially when ordering online. Sometimes ill ask them to mix the dressing in and there will be waaay too much dressing. Like to the point it's dripping with sauce. There are other times when it's the perfect amount. The staff is pretty nice at this location and it always looks pretty clean on the inside. I just wish they actually took measurement of the sauce before pouring it into the salad bowls. read more

Came here after our flight in and we were starving. My friend suggested this place because of its great options. She picked her salad out and it looked full and great. When it came to mine I just asked to not have any bread or chips. I got half the greens my friend did and about half the salad all together. It was completely not worth 11 dollars. I could have drove to Whole Foods and paid for a whole pound of salad for 8.99....
