Found this place on Yelp and saw the picture of the bulgogi rice bowl, and I knew I had to have it. The cafe is located inside a corporate building with a parking garage ($3 per hour). There's a few tables to sit at, and an abundance of drinks and snacks available. There was only one woman working, and she was working hard! She was so sweet and let us know there would be a little wait due to the group that ordered before us. We got the bulgogi rice bowl and the asian rice bowl (chicken). Our food came out piping hot with a side of gochujang for the bulgogi and I believe a chili sauce for the chicken. We both loved our food, the meat was well-seasoned and not overly salty or greasy, the veggies were fresh and delicious, and the rice was perfect. This place is a gem and deserves more love!

The service was fantastic. The couple that runs this place were friendly in a folksy way that I find is often missing at cafes and eateries around the DC area. Oh, and my bowl was delicious!

Rich's Cafe owned by Sunny and Bob for 2 years. Great folks!

When you walk into Sunny [wife + master chef] and Bob's [husband] spotless inviting place with great menu board you know you are in for a treat. Sandwiches, subs, paninis, triple deckers, salads, bowls, breakfast and even BULGOGI. I started with the breakfast platter......fluffy scrambled eggs, ham, rye toast and great home fries with green peppers. YUMMY! $6.95. Everything on the menu is under $8.00. I highly recommend and be sure to STOP IN now as during this *pause* your help is greatly appreciated.

Bulgogi Bowl with special spicy sauce $9.00

I had the pleasure today of meeting sonny and bob, the owners of the cafe. They were incredibly kind and sonny directed me to exactly what I wanted, the beef bulgogi bowl. Now I'm not picky but something about this bowl was just right. I've had bulgogi bowls before where they were either too sweet or too oily and I just usually eat them anyway only to never return to the place but this is not the case with Sonny's. She makes the beef homemade she told me and grills up the veggies(carrots, broccoli, onions) on the plancha right in front of you. There's no secrets, and accompanied by the delicious, perfectly spicy, gochujang like sauce, you know you're getting some of the best lunch in the area. Check it out!

Went here on a whim today, and had a great time!!…read more The interior was really clean, the burger I ordered was tasty, and the service was wonderful. One of the hosts was kind enough to open the front door for my grandfather who needs a cane to walk, and our server Tyler was very attentive. Will definitely be back!!

Dear Management, I…read moream writing to share my family's experience during our Father's Day visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately, what should have been a special celebration turned into a very disappointing experience due to the service we received upon arrival. We had a reservation for 4:00 p.m. When we arrived, the gentleman at the host stand was not welcoming or friendly. He simply told us to "step to the side" and that someone would assist us in a few minutes. As the minutes passed, we continued to wait without any communication. During that time, a white family of five walked in without a reservation and was seated immediately. At that point, I approached the host stand to ask what had happened and why we had not been seated despite having a reservation. The host searched for our reservation, asked what time it was scheduled for, and then casually stated, "I think someone stole your table." I was shocked by this response. I asked how that could happen if he was responsible for managing the seating. He had no explanation and, more importantly, never offered an apology for the mistake or the inconvenience. A manager later came over and asked what had happened. After I explained the situation, he appeared genuinely surprised and concerned by what had occurred. Once we were finally seated, our server acknowledged the delay and kindly offered us an appetizer because of the long wait at the front. We appreciated that gesture, but it did not change how unwelcome we had been made to feel upon arrival. I am writing this letter not because I am looking for compensation or anything in return. My purpose is simply to ensure that no other family has a similar experience, especially on a day meant to celebrate loved ones. Every guest deserves to be treated with fairness, courtesy, and respect. A sincere apology from the host at the time of the incident would have gone a long way. I hope you will use this feedback as an opportunity to coach your front-of-house staff on the importance of customer service, communication, and accountability. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns. Sincerely, Ms. Deas
