There's nothing particularly good not bad about the food here. It's basically a "take out" Chinese food place. The food was fine ..not great, not bad. Had better, had worse. The Gen. Tao's chicken was ok. Fried rice was pretty good. I will say the Hot and Sour soup was really good. Will definitely recommend that but the rest was just ok. read more

This place is hit, and miss. Great Customer service. Food is ok depending on what you get. I bought the roast pork, and boneless ribs the other night (small size) $21.00 for both. I have never had such a bad experience trying to chew pork, or boneless ribs. It Literally was Like a Dried Leather shoe. Think ';Baseball mitt from the Brooklyn Dodgers' 1950s team. I think I lost a filling from a back molar failing from the durability of this pork. Seriously , How can you sell pork so dried up, and tough? Left NY three years ago, and on our annual visit back, always our first or second stop. (Pizza being the other). Owner who takes the order remembers me by voice, 3 years later!! Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant - Singapore chow mei fun, wonton soup and eggroll - Chinese Near Me - Copiague, New York

I've been here a few times and the food was always pretty good. Tonight will definitely be the last time I go here again. I ordered the wonton soup which is always good. I ordered the steamed chicken and broccoli that comes with rice and your choice of brown garlic sauce or white garlic sauce. Since there was no indication on the menu, I assumed the brown garlic sauce was similar to the sauce you get with chicken and broccoli. To my surprise, after mixing the sauce with the chicken and broccoli, I see tons of red pepper pieces and they weren't just spicy, they were SPICY. No where on the menu did it say anything about spicy or I never would've ordered it. To top things off, I found a chicken bone in my food as well. I called and explained what happened and was told to come back and they would make me another one not spicy, great, so I thought. My boyfriend was nice enough to go there to find only a container of sauce on the counter and was told they couldn't remake the whole dish and if they did that he would have to pay for it, again! We weren't trying to make an issue to get free food, I just wanted food that didn't set my mouth on fire. Never again. read more

Delicious food! We've ordered from here 3 times in the past few weeks. Twice we ordered and picked up. Orders were hot and ready. They are really nice there, too. Once we had the food delivered. Typical Chinese take-out menu. Typical prices but that's where it ends. The lady owner is the Asian re-incarnation of the Soup Nazi. She's rude and abusive. They deal in cash only. I live two blocks away and was a regular customer for over 6 years. When I questioned the amount of sales tax she was over charging me she got nasty and refused to give me chop sticks. She loudly proclaimed "NO CHOPSTICKS TODAY!!" With a Chinese take-out on just about every block it was a non-customer centric attitude to take. I'll be taking out elsewhere from now on. read more

They are always polite to us and to my family. Even though they cannot speak English but they always try to show kindness toward us best way they can !!! And to you Jim P. The older woman at the register is very rude and a bit crazy. I ordered for pick up and they told me 15 min. I was pulling up after the 15 min when my phone started to ring. It was her calling me to make sure I was picking up my food! I was a little shocked. Then I went to pay with my debit card and was told they only take cash. Well that would have been nice to know before I got there. Had to go all the way home and come back. The food is good. I got the chicken and broccoli and can't complain. This is my first Yelp review, i'm not one to ever write negatively about a business, but i deemed this absolutely necessary. I've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant for years. The staff was so rude and not accommodating at all. I was told 20 minutes but waited over an hour and the food was barely even cooked when i opened my bag to check if i had everything! I asked them if they could cook it a little more and the woman at the register looked at me like I was crazy, and yelled at me about 'how i was being ridiculous'; calling me a liar. The rudeness continued and she kept forcing me to pay for the order when I was simply asking for it to be cooked a little more throughly. After 5 minutes of arguing with me (while laughing to her coworkers in her native tongue), I left without my food because she refused to thoroughly cook it. That is unhealthy, dangerous, and the worst business I have ever encountered. I cannot believe how the situation was handled. Anybody that runs a business should know it's common knowledge to treat their customers with respect and decency, especially with a reasonable request that my food be thoroughly cooked. read more
