    Kung Pao Chicken with Peanuts

We tried this place for Chinese. We loved dim sum and we're looking for good dumplings. They have soup, dumplings, and regular dumplings, fried or steamed. The one problem was most of the dumplings had seafood shrimp additive there were none with just meat. We opted for vegetable dumpling which are not our favorite. We got the string beans and they were so good well good flavored well. One entree of kung po chicken which had many peanuts almost too many. All in all was good not great. Complimentary tea is always a good start. The restaurant was not crowded which should have been an indication especially on a weekend. The restaurant is modern and nice inside and very clean.

Chinese @ Cherryhill, NJ We had an early dinner on Saturday and was sitted right away without dinner reservation. There were other restaurants and Chinese market adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant was spacious and the service was prompt. We ordered crab and pork soup dumpling which was very juicy and scrumptious. The pork soup dumpling was also good. The twice cooked pork with cabbage was too greedy for me. The price of dishes were very reasonably.

Crab meat and pork soup dumpling - sooo good Peking duck set is good. Crispy skin is so crispy. Need to order an hour ahead of time. Like the roti type wrap but not liking the sauce. You can ask to have the duck bones to make soup or stir fry for $6 more for each dish. I would get the soup again but won't get stir fry. Steamed sea bass is good. Salt and pepper pork chop is good - meat a bit hard for my liking. Dry pot is so fun. Came out sizzling and hot for awhile. You can add any topping for $5 each. Pea leaves are a bit too chewy. Service is great. I am a regular and usually not crowded which I love.

We ordered the pork soup dumplings, beef ho fun, house fried rice and rice cakes. Everything came out quickly, hot and delicious. The rice cakes and noodles had a great bite to them without being soggy. The meat was cooked well and the sauces had great flavor. The soup dumplings were also a great hit. Full of pork and juicy soup! The staff were great. We had two children with us and they were so kind while interacting with them. The space is clean and well cared for. This is definitely a place we would go to again.

Went with a couple of friends for a light dinner and shared the below dishes. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Service was okay. Prices were reasonable. The great beans were amazing some of the best I ever had. Not sure how they made them but I could have eaten the entire plate myself. They alone deserved 5 stars

Dim Sum House will be a new regular in my local eats. It's right in my neighborhood and it's a gem! As far as soup dumpling spots, this is the best I've ever experienced especially for affordability. I absolutely loved the humongous dumplings, especially the Pork and Crabmeat Soup Dumplings, which were absolutely full to the brim with soupy goodness. I recommend taking advantage of the chili and vinegar sauces for dipping. I also got the Shanghai Pork Fried Soup Dumplings but they were a thicker dumpling than I was expecting and not comparable. The beef scallion pancakes were very nice too! I don't know if I loved the beef, but that may be because I am a purist about scallion pancakes. Again, very nice dipped in sauce. The cold cucumber was a surprisingly delicious addition as well. Tea was served complimentary for free. Very cute environment and great service as well. I have zero complaints because for two people our total came to $37, which is incredibly cheap in 2024. I will be returning happily many more times for that and the soup dumplings. Highly recommend.

I was so surprised to pull up to this place to see that it's right next to Brother's Seafood; 2 dim sum places next to each other, very interesting! I've had Brother's before and a fan so I was curious to see how Dim Sum House would be We got the pork soup dumplings, beef pancake, mapo tofu, beef ho fun and cucumber salad. I wasn't impressed by the menu, there was lots of dishes that I would have loved to have; dry pepper chicken, black bean clams but sometimes when the menu is small it's bc the dishes they have are just really good But I wasn't wow'd by anything but it wasn't bad either! I was craving mapo tofu and I liked the flavors! The beef pancake was a little bulky but it was tasty, lots of good flavors. The pork soup dumplings were OK, I've had better; needed more meat in the filling, I didn't get much crab. The cucumber salad was super oily Service was great and the inside was very clean and big! All in all, this place was good but I would say it's just as good as Brother's Seafood!

Good food. Good service. You can get 5% off your bill if you pay with cash. The soup dumpling skin is very thin and the dumpling is very juicy. I think it's as good as Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao's soup dumplings. The beef ho fun is very good. Fair warning that it's a greasy dish. No places around this area makes ho fun as good. The beef scallion pancakes need more hoisin sauce and scallions. The pancake could be a bit thinner- this dish was on the dry side. Came here in a Monday for lunch and there were about 6 other parties. The dining area is clean and organized. Would definitely come back here again.

Solid 3.5 stars. Accidentally went here instead of the other dim sum place in the same shopping center. Ended up being a pleasant surprise. Got udon noodles with pork, beef scallion pancake and the tri colored soup dumplings. Everything was pretty good, soup dumplings were a little overfilled on the soup to filling ratio but still tasty. Definitely preferred the green dumpling and chicken over what I thought was just supposed to be pork but had a slight seafood taste so maybe it was crab and pork? Staff was friendly and attentive. I would come back.

"Confused" describes my entire dining experience. We were so excited to see this new dim sum place opened up in the Asian market plaza where we go to get our Asian groceries. We came on a Saturday around 11:50am and there wasn't a wait. However it became busy around 1pm-ish time. The menu at first looks amazing and unique with some dishes that you don't usually see at normal dim sum restaurants. We ordered a couple items to share: 1. 3 colored soup dumplings 2/5 2. Dan dan crispy tofu 2/5 (it's basically just fried tofu...) 3. Marinated gluten 4/5 4. Salted baked Squid 3/5 5. Fish fillet with salted egg yolk flavor 3/5 Most of the dishes didn't come with much seasoning. I wonder if they forgot to salt their food. It felt like they try to compensate their lack of flavor by throwing in a random dipping sauce that also isn't good. The salted squid came with what tasted like a chipotle or thousand islands sauce that didn't quite compliment the dish. The Dan Dan crispy tofu - which by the way was just fried tofu - came with some fermented bean paste that tasted straight from a bottle. I was hoping they'd serve the crispy tofu with some pickled vegetable or a lighter sauce. The fish fillet also had no flavor. You have to really dip it in the egg yolk sauce which was mediocre and not fully incorporated with the fish. The highlight should have been the soup dumplings but it was not. The only soup dumpling I liked was the crabmeat one. The other two tasted very strange ... and the staff also couldn't tell exactly what soup dumplings were served in the 3 color combo. I still don't know what flavor I ate but I didn't like it. Overall very disappointing dim sum experience. However the staffs were friendly - maybe the food quality will improve over time as they did only just recently opened.

As many others have written, there are no standout Chinese and Japanese restaurants in Lower Bucks and NE Philly. We tried the Dim Sum Factory in Horsham a few times years ago, and good meals each time, but over time it had gotten more crowded, parking became a pain, and due to the crowding, it was louder and not a relaxed atmosphere; so we stopped. Didn't realize until last night while searching for a place for dinner that Dim Sum Factory had other locations. As other Yelpers wrote, this Dim Sum Factory on Krewstown Rd was nowhere as busy hence, a quieter more relaxed environment, with ample off-street parking. We came early, arrived at 5 PM and the place was surprisingly empty but shortly after we arrived others came and by the time we left, I'd say 1/2 the tables were occupied; did notice they do a fair amount of takeout. This is a far smaller-sized restaurant and perhaps the larger share of the business is takeout. That said there was only 1 server handling tables as takeout and she was terrific; cool, calm, and friendly. We did not feel as though we waited a long time between dishes as we didn't order everything at once; we like to pace out our meals. This comes with that negative feel of other places that want the full order, and claim to pace but don't; hence feel as though they need to turn the table on a timer. Nuff about this stuff, let's get to the food it was fresh, beautifully plated, and very tasty. We were very much pleased and will be back now that we have found a suitable place. Just a longer drive, hence we drive for our good meals. We opened with the pork soup dumplings, 6 pieces, we long ago learned how to properly enjoy soup dumplings. Made with care and no skimping on meat or broth in the dumpling. Next, we had the HK-style Shumai, 4 pieces, big pieces at that. We prefer smaller more delicate dumplings. These per the photo are large and the meat is more packed, and more solid than we like; nonetheless, it was a good dish, especially with the dumpling sauce, which gave them a sweater flavor. Next, we had the spring roll, 2 pieces, not usually my favorite, is my wife's, but I will say it was not over-fried and not greasy; all pluses in my book. We then shared the chicken with garlic sauce and added eggplant- this was a hit. All the fresh and interesting vegetables, the textures, and the peppers gave it flavor.... the eggplant was a nice addition. The best dish we had this evening. We also had the Yang Chow Fried Rice, not my thing, more my wife's. I picked out the veggies, pork, egg, and the huge clean tasty shrimp. See our photos. Will be back again.

We were second standing outdoors waiting in this big fat long line. Immediately upon opening for the day the line nearly forced entry near stampede and this cafe was immediately packed to full occupancy of patrons with free seating. The Yelp reviews are accurate and truthful. The food is great. This is a small cafe with only approximately eight tables. I do not recommend large parties of five and greater. It is no-frills, but not exactly "hole in the wall" type that lack in aesthetics for upscale lavish atmosphere but the deficiency is resolved in the food quality. There is one sole functioning restroom in the whole business, ergo, stand in line and wait. We entered hungry in a lugubrious sense of deep sorrow, but exited hunger pangs fulfilled. When exiting upon completion of our lunch meal, there was a line that quickly formed outdoors waiting. Unfortunately, access to this cafe in Edison, NJ is by car only and there is a free parking lot that is shared with neighboring businesses located in a small shopping complex. There are no business cards, and no takeout menus available. Customer service is efficient as the staff worked methodically hustling busy to take orders and fulfillment. Our male waiter was attentive to respond to our inquiries and make suggestions based on our desires. I was able to keep the sales receipt. Price is in the rationale realm of stagflation totaling $41.75. Nota Bene: No table hibernation as the table turnover is fast pace with a line overflowing outdoors which cannot interrupt the flow. My foodie synopsis: Pork steam soup dumplings, 6 pcs, siu2 lung4 baau1, 小籠包, $8.75 Very juicy, flavorful and great. It was served piping hot. This is my favorite default dish for every visit at any Shanghainese ethnic cuisine. However, there were no serving tongs provided for this particular appetizer which is industry standard. It has amazing flavor and texture to be deliciously enticing. Of course, the cooking wine brings flavor to this appetizer making you want more. The decor did get a nice lift and more modern than the back of the day set up. I think it's cute. We came on a Sunday around 1pm and about half the tables were occupied so there was no wait. First thing I noticed is the inside is all different, maybe newer looking. They must have changed ownership from when I last came. The food wasn't authentic and wasn't good. We ordered soup dumplings, sweet soy milk, savory soy milk, and pan fried dumplings. Soup dumplings- the good thing is here they give you 8 pieces (vs 6 pieces in other NJ places). The skin is too thin. It was difficult to pick up with a chopstick or spoon and not 1 piece stayed intact while picking it up. All of the soup leaked out before it even reached my plate. The texture of the skin was "slippery" vs the bouncy kind I usually see with soup dumplings. My husband said he bit into a small piece of bone which is weird. Sweet soy milk- it wasn't a smooth drink. There were lots of soy grits Savory soy milk- tasted very watered down. Didn't have much soy milk flavor Pan fried dumplings- the portion was generous with 6 huge pan fried dumplings. These are the largest I've seen anywhere. They look more like buns than dumplings!! It was ok but overall it didn't taste like a pan fried dumpling. The owners seem really nice and friendly, chatting with some of the customers. Their service was good too. It's just the food isn't authentically Shanghainese.
