Classic American Chinese takeout. It's not my first preference in the area for Chinese takeout, but it gets the job done when I want something basic. Great for a lunch special or for something greasy that you wouldn't want to order at a sit down restaurant. Messing up your order over and over is the theme here. Lucky Guess Chinese food should be the name. The food is decent. Not the best I ever had but damn for once get the order right. It has two small tables but is mainly a take out Chinese place. Prices are what is expected and consistent with other take out places in the area. Hello... Thursday January 26 2023 was my second time I went here to buy some chines food. The reason I came back a 2nd time was I wanted to give them a 2nd chance. My first time I came was sometime last week and ordered the "Lunch Special" ... in the "Lunch Special" I had requested soup with my order. I didn't check my order until I got home. When I got home and took my order out of the bag I got an egg roll when I order egg drop soup with my order. I just let it go because it was a hassle for me to go back to te restaurant to get my order correct. So when I came back to this same restaurant thinking I will give them a second chance and I ordered another "Lunch Special" the lady asked me what kind of rice. I told her plain fried rice and she said: "Pork fried rice?" I said: "No Plain fried rice." She repeated what I said.. I said: "Yes". Okay when she gave my order I should have checked it at the restaurant but i was in a hurry to go back home... When I got home and took my ordered out of bag...well what do you know? She gave me pork fried rice when i told her plain fried rice and she repeated it to me so that we are clear. What a bad impression I got from her. She has like she don't care what a customer wants and I don't know why she ask in the first place when she does what she wants...I am not going back there when you have to put up with this crazy woman who doesn't care... read more

The worst Chinese food in the area. Do not even waste your time. It's absolutely horrible tasting, no flavor and just disgusting. I wanted to give them another try cause of being a Somerville resident but I will not be making that mistake again. The food Is always very yummy. Big portions, but unfortunately a skimpy amount of protein makes it lose a star from me. I try to stay away from carbs so it's difficult to get full from most entrees. I will keep coming back though for the best dumplings and crab Rangoon around. From other reviews, I was hesitant to try this place. But since there were limited options in area, eventually, we did. I don't understand people's opinions and chalk it up to most people who review have bad experiences so I figured I'll write one from my great experiences. We've ordered from here on a regular basis, and it's my husband's favorite for sure. Stale noodles- fried oil soaked egg rolls (squeeze them and the oil actually dripped out) - and beef with garlic sauce made so spicy it was impossible to eat- the pepper flakes from the beef got in to the rice and made the entire meal inedible! $55 thrown in the garbage. Absolutely disgusting. Mr. F understands that Somerset County doesn't have good Chinese food, but this place is the absolute worst. Fried noodles were stale. Scallion pancakes were tough, chewy, oily, dense and gross. They don't de-vein the shrimp so you get a good mouthful of shrimp feces with each bite. Truly vile establishment. read more

The restaurant seems clean. It's small with 2 tables and 3 chairs. I think its a little pricey for a hole in the wall Chinese food restaurant. I gave it 3 stars vs 2 because I only ordered 2 items. I got a pint of wonton soup - I watched them microwave it to heat it up and the meat tasted...off. I also got an order of shrimp toast...again, microwaved before being deep fried. So it's official. The year is almost over and we just crowned a new champion of worst restaurant of the year. Everything was saturated in oil and some kind of brown goop. I could not feed my dogs. This wasn't fit for man nor beast. Ribs in a to go plastic container soaked in oil and slathered with this horrible thick, salty coating. The mixed vegatables in a 50% oil brown gravy and orange beef dish that we were only able to eat the top half due to oil saturation. The brown rice was the only thing good and healthy. Never again. Best chineese food outside of philly. Honestly better than all of the other approx. 20 places I've tried in jersey. They are extremely quick to deliver as well. I would give this a 2 star review only for the fact that the restaraunt only has one table and 2 chairs this is strictly a take out restaurant only I do not believe the owners of this establishment expected people to want to order from a menu and eat in other then that the food is cooked to the right temperature the food is great and with a different variety then most chinese restaurants you probably won't have any trouble finding something new and interesting to eat then the same old same old Another major plus is that when you order it doesn't take long for it to be ready to eat they cook their food fairly fast read more

We order from here often. Not the best Chinese I've ever had, but definitely the best in the area. I've tried most places in Hillsborough and Somerville and this is the best. They also always get our order right, which is usually difficult considering the amount we get and all the alterations we ask for.
