It's a small place with six or so tables, and we dined inside about seven o'clock a Thursday. Several people came in for takeout, so it must be popular with the locals. The place is clean but not fancy. My husband got Sesame Chicken, my son Beef Lo Mein, and I unfortunately ordered Sweet and Sour Shrimp. They raved about their meals but I had trouble eating mine. The shrimp was fried in such a thick, hard batter, I broke three forks while trying to cut and pick up the shrimp. I was really disappointed. This is very pedestrian Chinese food. The service is non existent, they don't provide cutlery or plates (until you ask) and the spicy food is tasteless and non-spicy. The chicken soup had no chicken (unless you count tofu as chicken). The other main courses - chicken fried rice, hunan chicken and pineapple chicken - were bland and uninteresting. Exactly what you'd expect! I ordered egg drop soup (yummmm) and shrimp fried rice. The fried rice wasn't exactly how I pictured it, but it was still good! The delivery was faster than they said it would be, so I was very happy about that. They even walked all the way up to my floor to deliver it, instead of having the front desk ring me at my hotel. I called the store twice, once half an hour after delivery time and again an hour later, the driver showed up about 5 mins after my second call. It's a decent value for money Chinese food. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Hunan Beef. Both were pretty good at taste. The combo plates come with Fried rice and spring roll. They were kind enough to replace the fried rice with lo mein and give us a veg spring roll instead of an egg roll. First of all, since we ordered from a hotel you would think that they would provide us with utensils and plates to eat our food and drink our soup. You guess correctly NO they didn't. However, the irksome factor was that the lady taking our order mistakenly gave us the wrong food (they added snow peas to the lo mein instead of the beef with snow peas dish that we requested) and then refused to admit her mistake when we called back. We ended up being charged extra ($1.80) for the incorrect order of snow peas anyway despite the fact that it wasn't our fault.
