I often order from here, the Japanese sushi offerings and side dishes are usually fresh and delicious, however the Chinese food is uneven and some dishes are just terrible such as the wonton soup. fried rice and pork lo mein which has almost no pork in it. Funny thing is I have ordered before and it has been decent. This last time was just horrible. Messy, very sticky and all around not appealing. I ordered a miso soup which was good. If I ever order again and I'll order the soup and maybe a more simpler roll. The specialty rolls may be too complicated for the staff. Like all cuisine sushi is an art. They have exceptional sushi quality! Everything is so fresh and tasty. My Go-To is the spicy sushi combo as it comes with 3 rolls of your choice, a side of soup or salad and a great price! Hong Kong Kitchen rocks! This is my Friday night order in place after having been a loyal long term customer of Mei Mei on the Grand Concourse. This restaurant offers Happy Family Dinners and if there is something you don't eat like pork fried rice you can request a substitute for it. Their shrimp dumplings are wonderful and their Egg drop soup is also very delicious. The delivery guy always comes on time and even though my building has an elevator he runs.....yes runs...up 3 flights of long stairs.
