Was fun have a beer and watching old shows with Roy Rogers and listening to live music. The apps were great and the service was awesome.

The place has a really laid-back dive bar vibe, which is exactly what makes it great. The drinks are affordable, the bartenders are quick even when it gets busy, and the crowd is always a mix of locals and people just out having a good time. Tonight the energy was exactly what you'd expect for St. Patrick's weekend in Savannah -- packed, lively, and just a good time overall. It's the kind of place where you pop in for one drink and end up staying longer than you planned. If you're bar hopping on River Street or just want a casual spot with good vibes and strong drinks, Pour Larry's is always worth the stop. On this visit, I just explored the hot dog side of the house. I ordered the chili cheese hot dog and fries meal. The employee taking my order also appeared to be responsible for preparing the orders in the kitchen. My order took about twenty minutes to appear at my table after paying. The all-beef hot dog was hearty and filled me up. The French fries were a different type than I am used to receiving, but they were delicious. There is an electronic ax-throwing game in the restaurant, which was closed, so I did not experience that. Crave is located in the middle of what I call a SCAD block of dorms and classrooms. This visit was a couple of days after graduation so the place was not full. Nothing bad to report, I may try some BBQ on a later visit.

The iPhone GPS brought us to the back side of the building, but we eventually found the entrance across from the former Ghost Coast Distillery. It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop inside (no background music). I was surprised to see an axe throwing lane! And a wall of beers on tap. There were few other patrons dining at the time. This is an order at the counter and they bring your food out joint. It took about 15-20 minutes to prepare our one to go meal. My husband ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, which came with fries and a choice of side. He opted for the coleslaw. They offered us a complimentary cookie which I enjoyed on the way out. The to go order was served in a paper box and a paper bag. No napkins or utensils were given (this is the new "green" initiative businesses are doing, which I appreciate). By the time we got home to eat, my husband said the sandwich was great but needed more sauce. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They mentioned there will be a grand opening party in coming days. I am glad to see this area of the historic district being built up with hot & new businesses!
