Went today and the lady working the window was so rude. We have never been there before but we are wanting to try lots of local places in these hard times to support. Apparently you can't order at window and so we had to leave and order with a menu online (that she so rudely told us, she could've been a lot nicer). When we did order we wanted to order the noodles as shown on the website and she laughed at us and told us they don't sell noodles (ok? Then take it off the menu online). We waited for the food and it was cold and had pink inside chicken. Threw it away as didn't trust eating anything juices could've gotten to in plate. Sad as I would have maybe tried them one more time because of food but customer service is not something I will over look. Great Hawaiian food in southern Utah! We ordered chicken katsu (a big hit) and teriyaki chicken (also a favorite). The macaroni salad was perfect and overall everything there is wonderfully priced. The customer service is impeccable: we accidentally over ordered and they were nice enough to offer us a refund even though the food was probably already made. I was passing through the area and visited this place based on a Yelp reviews. The food was edible, but not the 4 stars. I guess for a price it's a good McDonalds alternative, but nothing to sing praises about. I really like this place. I had the teriyaki chicken and kalua pork served with brown rice and the cucumber salad. The salad is absolutely delish, and the meat is all super tender! It was way too much food for me to eat, so I had plenty of left overs for another meal. I love that they don't charge you more for brown rice like most places do. Hubby got the Katsu chicken and teriyaki beef with white rice and macaroni salad. He likes the flavor and the good sized portions. Pretty decent sort of spot, if you're in the mood for Hawaiian. Flavors were good but I didn't love the overcooked nature of all of it, which sort of dried out the beef substantially. Katsu chicken was pretty decent, but not in the league of the best ones out there...the overcooked nature doesn't apply to the musubi, though, which was served cold...oddly. These people have no idea what Hawaiian grill is supposed to taste like! Seriously! Don't go here if you're looking for a grilled teriyaki chicken that you might get at a Rumbi Grill. The chicken and rice had a bland tasting "gravy" that was poured over the top of large pieces of boneless thigh that wasn't grilled and was wet and fatty. This place was good. I ordered the stir fry plate with Kalua pork and to me it was a little salty and the pork flavor kind of screws up the taste of the noodles. The BBQ chicken was a little better though. The teriyaki chicken was ordered by my sibling and it did not look appetizing. The rice and the katsu chicken was great though. No. I don't know how this place gets 4 stars. I'm giving 2 based solely on the girl that took my order. She was super friendly. That's about the only good thing about this place. I ordered the kalbi rib plate and a large fountain drink. $18+ dollars. That's not cheap. That's sit down and have a server take your order pricing. The styrofoam container came with the ribs, two scoops of rice and a tiny serving of macaroni salad. The ribs looked good. But that's it. They tasted old and like they were close to going bad. The Mac salad was so salty I couldn't eat it. Maybe that explains the small portion. The rice was ok. It's all I ate. Very disappointing meal, especially for nearly 20 bucks. The place itself reminded me of a converted foster's freeze. The overly bright colors couldn't hide the lack of cleaning. The food has good taste, and the portions are generous. But I get a chewy piece of meat like every 2 bites. Gag. Quality control seems to have disappeared completely. I imagine they make the food for the entire day in the early morning when the worker is tired and is chopping and mixing everything in like a 2 ton bowl and whatever falls in gets mixed in.
