The brewery looked promising but the beers were meh. I did a flight and only one was decent. I even thought I'd give their to go beers a chance but they were the same thing I tried. Service was fantastic though.

Only had the Cran Orange Sour on tap today. The t was very tasty and it overly sour either. The staff is very friendly and taproom is very clean. I highly recommend this taproom for either a quick bite to eat with some good beer or a quick drink or two if you have dinner reservations at one of the downtown restaurants

If you have never been to Winters, you are missing a hidden gem of amazing restaurants and Hooby's brewing! Huge location with tons of outdoor seating really lovely, indoor ambience, friendly staff . And lots of interesting food options to pair with your beers . I had an hour to burn while I waited for some friends to get into town so I stopped to have a beer when I came inside I saw that they had a special stout. It was incredibly strong and it definitely got me worked up for the rest of the day . I also had a pretzel with some beer cheese sauce, which was really nice . I sat on the street bar parking and enjoyed watching the people walk by and a lovely day . I highly recommend this place to stop in and try all their different beers

My husband and I love going to Hooby's brewery! It's family-owned and everyone is very nice and friendly. Monday bingo is our go-to! Food is tasty, beers are great! They have plenty of events here as well. Definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area!

Looks like a great spot for nightlife but not the best lunch spot. There was tons of seating outside and a small indoor dining section. It was too chilly outside for us, but i wish we would have dealt with it to avoid battling the flies inside. The food was just ok. We waited a long time for lukewarm burgers and cold sides. The grease flavor was strong. The beer was alright, but the root beer on tap was kind of flat and only slightly chilled. They do offer board games, but too bad the first couple we grabbed had missing pieces so we kept having to exchange our choices. Still, it was nice to play a game given how long we waited for food. One final note was that this place does not have table service yet they charge like a quality, full service restaurant. Not worth the price point.

Was camping near Lake Berryessa and the store owner there suggested stopping by Winters for dinner because we didn't want to cook. It's a cute town by Main St. we wanted some burgers and local beer and Hooby had both. It's a casual spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We tried 6 drafts and enjoyed their smash burgers! The fries, onion rings and fried pickles were great too. They had a couple games playing on the TVs inside, had they have board games available too. We played taboo. There was some live music in the patio seating. It was pay at the counter, I closed out the tab and paid for everything at the counter. Great service, delicious burgers and good beer. Good way to wind down after being out in the sun all day.

We enjoyed going to hooby's for little snacks but we decided to try the breakfast. The waffle sliders were pretty good but the chilaquiles were definitely a disappointment. It's just chips with the garnishing on the side, for $15 I definitely wouldn't order that again . I love the vibe and the ambiance but definitely feeling a hit or miss with dishes. We had the bacon which is a $1 a piece, not bad but the tater tots were greasy and close to being burnt. It wasn't the best.

We were just passing through looking for something decent to eat with low expectations and this far exceeded those low expectations. The menu is simple basic to the point. I ordered the Korean barbecue fried sandwich and let's just say folks you could stop there. It's a total Mic drop. Only a little bit of heat, good sauce. I just wish the onion rings were a little bit hotter. Don't miss the tater tots. The double IPA is very tasty with the sandwich as well. Love the music and the service is on point.

Smash burger, bun was cold and hard.

Do you have a porter on tap?

As of today we do not, we are working to get our Monticello Stout back on tap soon!

Last October, I went to Hooby's and there was a fella out in the patio making wood fired pizzas- is that still available? If it is, will he be around today?

Hey Alden, we shut the pizza oven down while it’s been raining and cold to cook out there. We are planning on having it back soon but the exact time is TBD. Keep an eye out on our Instagram and Facebook for more updates.

    Do they have hard seltzer?

No hard seltzer at this time but working on some great recipes, and currently have an awesome Hazy IPA, and Kolsch!

The way they take time to think about every single ingredient going into a cocktail or their food offerings. An extremely nice place to take a date, or your family where you can feel relaxed and accepted, yet not lacking in a beautiful atmosphere. I've met some of my closest friends here! My favorite signature cocktail is the mango jalapeño which they thankfully sell in 4 packs and they taste just as good as if they were made fresh. I'm not scared to try drinks made with liquor that I normally wouldn't drink as they are so scientific about the ingredients going into the cocktail that it flows so nicely! They've turned me back onto whiskey just with how delicious it is. Also they kill it with the gin and vodka flavors. 10/10 will always tell my friends and family to visit when they're in town, and if you're a townie and you haven't been here- wtf are ya doin?

Located in the historic downtown area of Winters, the tasting room blends naturally into the town's relaxed atmosphere while still presenting a polished and professional environment. The space itself is inviting and well-designed, creating a comfortable setting where visitors can slow down, learn about the distillation process, and enjoy the spirits being produced on-site. The moment I walked in, the team welcomed guests warmly and immediately created an environment that felt both educational and social rather than transactional. One of the strengths of Patio29 is the way the staff approach the tasting experience. Rather than simply serving samples, they take time to explain the philosophy behind their distillation methods, ingredient selection, and the development of their spirits. That level of engagement elevates the experience because you begin to appreciate the craftsmanship and intentionality behind each bottle. The conversation naturally flows from the history of the distillery to the production techniques they use, which helps visitors understand how small-batch distillation differs from large commercial operations. The spirits themselves demonstrate strong balance and technical precision. Their vodka stands out for its clean structure and smooth finish, making it enjoyable both neat and as a cocktail base. The gin offers a well-structured botanical profile with bright aromatics and a controlled level of juniper that allows other botanical elements to come forward without overpowering the palate. The cocktail program also deserves recognition because the bartenders clearly understand how to highlight the character of each spirit. Instead of masking the base spirit, the cocktails are constructed to complement and elevate the flavor profile, which is a strong indicator of thoughtful beverage craftsmanship. Another aspect that enhances the experience is the atmosphere. Patio29 manages to create a relaxed social setting that encourages conversation and exploration. It feels like a place where locals gather as much as visitors discovering the town for the first time. The tasting room maintains a balance between professionalism and approachability, making it easy for both experienced spirit enthusiasts and casual visitors to feel comfortable. Overall, Patio29 Spirits Co. delivers a refined yet welcoming craft distillery experience that reflects both technical skill and community-oriented hospitality. The combination of well-executed spirits, knowledgeable staff, and a comfortable environment makes it a destination worth visiting if you are exploring the craft beverage scene in Northern California.

While it's a good distance outside of town, it's still close enough to be someplace to go around Vacaville that's more interesting than the town's repetitive corporate chain dining & big box retail. It's a great spot to grab some quality brews. There's plenty of parking. There's inviting spaces, both indoor & outdoor, for sitting & relaxing a while. The outdoor area is quite expansive. The menu has some consistent favorites, but you'll see new items fairly consistently. I especially enjoy "Hazy on the 80" and the "Scottie Rippen". Inside seating is somewhat limited but it's cozy and there are seats at the bar as well. Outside seating is plentiful and awesome on a beautiful day.
