I've been staying nearby and kept meaning to stop in and check this place out , finally did . The young lady at the counter helped walked me through the menu and understand it well. I ordered hoodbachi chicken tacos (huge and mad flavor) , hoodbachi beef fries and hoodbachi chicken rice bowl. While I waited for my food to go , I took down a iced kool aid (purple flavor) The food is soo good , has great flavor and large portions. The price is worth it and you can definitely just get an order and share. I like to get more than I can eat sometimes , just to give it a try. The place is in a spot where you would've never planned on stopping but is truly a hidden gem. If you're arriving from the airport or know the hood then you should definitely make it a stop as you will be satisfied thoroughly. read more

Great food! First visit here, Saturday. Wasn't too busy so food took a about 8 minutes to get. Casual vibe, to-go orders only. The hardest part was smelling the food the whole way home . I opted for loaded fries, which had queso and beef on top of seasoned fries. It was great, if you are a frie person and are not afraid of a ton of topping, these are for you. My son got the loaded nachos. The chips are great; they definitely held up a ride home as a to-go order. It came with 3 meats and all the toppings. We loved them both!! So my friends and I came here yesterday to try something new. We're from Houston, so big foodies here. The staff were very appreciative of everyone coming to support them, and very kind. I don't eat meat, so they offered to make me something off the menu which was very cool. They didn't have to do that. They could've simply said I'm sorry we don't have anything for you, so that alone shows they type of people working there. The food was tasty, and my friends enjoyed their catfish plates. They did want tartar sauce to eat with it though. I definitely think you should give them a try. Their menu is unique to what I've seen available out here. I order at 651p I received my food at 823p The HoodBachi tacos I ordered were not even hot. I had 2 strands of lettuce on my tacos. Horrible. This is the 2nd time I've tried to give them a chance. I had to dump the meat off my tacos, cut up my own lettuce and onions once I got home. Never again. Over an hour for food that wasn't even hot. That's ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

Service: Took about 1 hour to receive 3 orders of Hoodbachie Taco's. Initially stated would be about a 45 minute wait for it. The Food: It was edible! It had good flavor, however only 2 pieces of shrimp per taco and lettuce layered on the bottom of the taco could have been remedied with shredded lettuce. Jalapeno's that come with the dish does not have spice to it (if you're looking to get a little kick out of it). The meat tasted like it was seasoned with the taco packet's you get from grocery. Guac, onions and peppers could increase flavor palette. The tortilla shell was the best part of the dish for us. Price: $21 for 2 tacos is expensive for the ok flavoring. Suggest pricing come down to the around the $13-17 range. read more

Firstly the ambiance and Staff were On Point and Very Welcoming! I even tipped and wanted to try a Dessert but they only offered Brownies at the time. No Cakes were sold like Advertised. I ordered their Hoodbachi Nachos instead of their famously known Tacos and at first glance were ready to dive in and couldn't even wait to get Home. Unfortunately I had adverse reaction to the taste of the Nachos and regretted it once I begin to finish. The Beef itself didn't have much of seasoning to Me and the homemade chips were overly salty and buttery in taste. All I could really favor with was the Shrimp that was included in the Nacho. I opted out of getting Chicken as well. The Cheese also had a peculiar taste that was indifferent (reminded Me of Skating Rink Cheese) In order to finish I simply bought a bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos to go along with, picked around parts of Food and went about the Night unfortunately. We definitely needed a different outlook on Food expectancy and Service coming from Our Cultured People but this is not the Place if you're expecting an actual Nacho Experience or authentic Taco experience either. Owner is not responsive in timely Manner. Prices are reflective of a Dine Experience that you won't have now.
