    Burger, fries, tater tots
    Celine P.

The burgers were so juicy and flavorful, well seasoned. Crispy oily tater tots with fancy ketchup. The cashier took my friend's order & then left for a bit to make drinks before I can order. So my order came out way later. Lots of silly art decor. A bit busy at 2:30 but still lots of seats.

You want to eat at this skater cool restaurant. We were looking for some midday fuel and The Rail was the perfect place to stop at. I love the vibes of this shop. Feels like a skater burger place. The music is great and the art on the walls is fun. There were plenty of seats available. You order at the counter and get a number for your table. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that was really tasty. I got the tots for the side. They had all gender single stall restrooms here. It's a huge space. I'd recommend coming here for a burger. They offer a lot of creative options.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after a long weekend backpacking in the Olympics. You order at the bar. The guy working didn't even say hi and he seemed like he was very unhappy to be taking my order. That was the worst of our experience. The food was delicious, they have an extensive tap list, our food came out relatively quickly, and they have great art on the wall. Mt two friends both had burgers that they really liked and I had the steak sandwich special. The fries are pretty standard and I was glad I ordered tots. Will go back again when I am in town.

Fantastic spot portside in Port Angeles. At first you can't quite get the idea of it until you go inside, where you find out it has a skate vibe. Wonderfully friendly person at the counter who was entirely ready for everyone to bring their dogs (dog friendly!) - which they did. First time ever that we didn't have to sit outside with our dog, as long as we kept her to herself and close to our table. Yes, it is right by an old rail line. We ordered a faux chicken burger (delish) and a breakfast sandwich. Also be sure to try the beignets which are delightful with an apple-y syrup drizzled over. We would definitely go here all the time if we lived here.

Came for a mid day snack, perfect for just that ! Great location. Casual, spacious, BOMB Mac n cheese balls, those good fries, normal and NA beer. Don't sleep on the Mac n cheese balls is all imma say.

Highly recommend The Rail! Tonya, Kyleigh, JP and Logan handled the onslaught of people who were brought up to catch the ferry from Seattle. Came together as a team, weren't frazzled, and provided amazing food & service.

Ate here after a trip to Olympic National Park. Delicious burgers, great flavors, and love that any patty can subbed for a Beyond. Fries and tater tots were crispy to perfection. Loved the ambiance of the place, had the football game playing in the back, and the servers were so friendly. Great location, walkable to the pier. Would come back!

The staff were really friendly! The food and portion size was good too. Their rail sauce they put in the burger is good, asked for it on the side and ate it with fries

Our food was great and service was lovely! My son and I shared a burger and really enjoyed playing the games they provide while we waited. No wait at all to be seated mid-October. Food came and I realized they'd given us fries instead of tots. They immediately made us a massive amount of tots which was so sweet! The restaurant is cute and the location is great!

I entered the rail at around six pm and was greeted and offered a menu promptly. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger at the front counter. After paying I took my drink and number to a table near the middle of the restaurant. There was moderately loud music coming from the back of the restaurant and a television showing sports. I waited a very reasonable amount of time for my meal and it was delivered to me by a very kind employee who offered sauces. The bacon cheese burger was served with lettuce tomato and pickles and it was a solid burger, not too greasy, and it was complemented with some sauce. I picked fries, which were cooked extremely well. I decided to eat most of them before ever taking a bite of my burger! Over all the meal was exactly what I expected and I enjoyed it.

Poor service, over priced burger, and inconsistent. My burger was dry, and tasted like air.

I quickly identified this as the most likely place in Port Angeles to sate our hunger and thirst! We were not disappointed!. The Main Street is humble but all-American. We arrived at 5:30 and we were quickly seated in a comfortable, tall banquette. Our server was Miranda and she was a total pro. She was knowledgeable, efficient, perky and knew her business like the pro she is. The menu is real deal Gastro-pub, there are plenty of craft cocktails to satisfy any taste. The double vodka rocks was $12, the special was any burger for $15. I had the Mrs Newton burger with Brie and raspberry jam with smashed patties. SO GOOD! The chowder was excellent the tataki small plate was outstanding! We got the chocolate thing for dessert. We had a great evening!

The burgers were too greasy and mine was way undercooked for what I asked for (medium). My stomach didn't feel great after eating it. The fries were decent, but are a separate add on to the burger. Brussels sprouts are ubiquitous these days, known for…read moretheir hearty health benefits and delicious taste, but this restaurant truly did them right. They were perfectly fried with a crunchy exterior, all heightened by a lovely drizzle of honey. 5/5 Fried Chicken Sandwich - This sandwich was a monstrosity! If I were Sasquatch, I'd still be full after eating this. They practically put two fillets into one sandwich. The breading was flavorful, and the chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. I definitely appreciated the generous portion size. 4/5 Ahi Tuna - Deliciously fresh and simple. The tuna was lightly seared and served sashimi-style with a perfect rare interior. Being so close to the ocean makes you appreciate how fresh seafood can taste, and they deliver that here. It's lightly dressed with soy sauce and citrus to bring out the natural flavor of the fish. 5/5 Service & Atmosphere - The service was great, and we were seated quickly. Our waiter knew the daily specials by heart; he was quick yet succinct in explaining what the restaurant specializes in. I really enjoyed this place!

The bartenders are true mixologist and even have non/ alcoholic cocktails and 25 specialty bitters (dry jan anyone?) I enjoy all their appetizers every thing from, seared ahi tuna, bacon wrapped dates (you get 4 per order), crispy brussel sprouts are crack, they are so good. (balsamic vinegar goodness) Menu is somewhat small but they have a great Chicken sandwich that is perfection in crunch, best batter Ive had (since Oak in Seattle. I think it originally was the sister to Spruce but changed owners.?) The other star dish is pork schnitzel, tasty all around and I love the capers, the red cabbage side, it's not too big, so you can finish the meal. (which is perfect as I don't think it would carry well to reheat due to gravy) I can't forget to compliment the service. Our waiter checked on us often, gave suggestions when we asked, water always was refilled which we appreciated so much. Service is lost nowadays but not here! So come here for a small plate and specialty cocktails or craft beer night or a full meal. The only underwhelming item was the side of fries that come with the sandwich was meh, but they do have decorated ones you can order as side that might be more tasty.
