I visited for the February Open House. The group that was there got a cheese plate to sample. The…read morecheese plate consisted of Snapdragon, Nettle, Fromage Frais, Trillium, and one other cheese which I think was Dutch Tulip. They were all fantastic. There was a short presentation and then a tour given by Co-Owner Laura Davenport. It was interesting to hear about how the different cheeses are processed and how Tulip Tree Creamery came to be. After the tour I made a purchase of two cheeses: Nightshade and Fromage Frais. If you enjoy cheese then you need to check them out. Their website is https://www.tuliptreecreamery.com/ On there you can find out about all the cheeses and where to purchase them. They also have classes you can take to make your own cheese. I found this gem of a cheese shop on Yelp! You wouldn't expect a cheese shop in a commercial…read morecomplex, but there it is. Patty greeted us and enthusiastically told us all about their award winning cheeses. All the cheeses are made on site from locally sourced milk. We purchased a variety of wedges and they are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Trillium which is a soft creamy Brie-like cheese. We also picked up the HOPS and Nightshade cheeses which were wonderful. These were some of the best cheeses I've ever had. They offer three levels of cheese making classes on Thursdays and Saturdays. They also sell cheese related products such as cutting boards in their shop. The shop is just off Lafayette Road and 62nd Street. Parking is out front. Well worth a visit.

I got the Langostino Quesadilla that I loved! It was a really big quesadilla too. We ordered agua frescas tonight, but their bar menu is huge and I definitely want to be back for margaritas on their patio. This is prime location for patio season. All our service was very professional and fast. Bonus perk there is a free parking garage attached.... Makes going out to eat downtown way less stressful!

Tried out this higher end Mexican food restaurant just blocks from the circle downtown. For a lunch…read moredate with friends. Overall a chill environment and ith a nice front patio/ sidewalk seating area. We enjoyed the chips n salsa varieties, surprisingly the darker salsa wasn't spicier just a different flavor. Orde re d the chicken burrito which was gigantic easily enough for 2 to share. Very well made fresh ingredients, covered in sauces and cheesy. And we all tried different margaritas, mine was a strawberry fruity take on a margarita, good and garnished nicely. Rated fresh and flavorful, not very strong and a bit pricey. Especially with some being $100+ for a drink was wild. Overall nice place, nice environment, wasn't busy and tasted good but is priced higher than most Mexican restaurants in the city.
