We went with the spicy beef bulgogi, sirloin, ribeye, spicy five spice chicken, and garlic chicken. The meats were fresh, well marinated, and the ribeye disappeared embarrassingly fast. For the hot pot, we built a spicy broth loaded with udon noodles, lobster balls, fish balls, crab stick, bean sprouts, lotus root, corn, bell peppers, spinach, cilantro, enoki mushrooms, and carrots. The broth just kept getting better as everything cooked together, so don't judge it by the first few bites. One thing that really stood out was the service. They stayed on top of the grill, replacing it when it got too charred and oiling it without us having to ask. The hot pot bar was also impressively stocked, and I never felt like the popular ingredients had been picked over. The ambiance was upbeat without feeling chaotic, and the whole experience was one notch up from just going out to dinner. My only piece of advice is to dress in layers. Between the tabletop grill and a bubbling pot of broth, you'll be questioning every life decision that involved wearing a sweater. I've never had to wait for meat to cook at a k-bbq. The outcome was terrible boiled meat that cooked in its own juices. Meat is bad quality. The brisket smelled strong and gamey like it was old. I always get this cut at other k-bbq spots and have never had this experience. Short ribs were tough and chewy. It was busy when I went but had to ask the server more than once for things several times. She also brought meat we hadn't ordered to the table. I ordered multiple things from the kitchen that never came and did not say they were out of stock. Some things were ordered 3x when I added them to my cart and they still never came. They have a hot food buffet for appetizer size bites which was delicious and fresh! You have a large cold section of veggies and sauces to choose from as well. Cold section of fresh veggies for your hot pot was plentiful to choose from in their self serve open refrigerator too. Downsides are the beef. It extremely fatty whether you chose bulgogi or the five spice on up the more expensive range of meat selection (if you went to a grocery store). Especially the bulgogi was alot of inedible bites unfortunately as it's my favorite on the menu at Korean restaurants. The five spice option imo was terrible so I stuck with the spicy bulgogi. The seafood was pretty good though. The hotpots definitely had a lot more broth choices than the 3 other competitors I've tried. What an experience! It was somewhat fun and a bit expensive for dinner for 4. I knew little about what to expect but at least I looked up the restaurant's Yelp and website before going... still it's pretty complicated. The waiter was somewhat helpful. We just ended up ordering lots of meats and food was brought over quickly. It's all you can eat which was nice. The food was good but I had no idea what to cook in the Bbq pit area or just dunk into the hot pot. There were lots of foods available in refrigerators at the side... and a buffet area. My sister took me to Han's for my first ever Korean BBQ and hot pot experience a few weeks ago for my birthday and I already can't wait to come back!!! It was so fun and I absolutely loved everything we ate. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated right away. We split a bottle of blueberry soju, had a couple rounds of Korean BBQ, and ate sooo many veggies, meat, and fun add-ins to our hot pot. I got the mushroom broth and it was so savory, delicious, and warming for a cold January day. My sister said she always gets the pork broth and I tried a sip hers and really liked it as well. The tables said there was a time limit of 2 hours and I think we were there about an hour and a half to two hours and had plenty of time to eat, drink, and chat. We opted for nothing extra to drink (besides water of course) because we had already planned on going into Saraga afterwards for coffee and treats. Still a perfect amount of time for 2 or more people to eat and drink their fill. All of the staff were very friendly and were constantly going around the restaurant to clear empty dishes, swap out BBQ grills, and refill waters. Our hot pot broths and meats were already waiting for us when we came back from getting our sauces and toppings, too. Such quick service! I recently dined here for the second time and it was a great experience overall. The place is visually appealing -- you're greeted by a large multi-panel screen displaying k-pop videos as soon as you enter which is fun. We did have to wait for a table but it was a Friday night around 7:30pm. In the future, I would advise make reservations but it wasn't a long wait at all. Once seated, it did take a few minutes to be greeted by our server but it was very busy and she was very friendly and explained the ordering system well. The atmosphere was pretty lively. We heard several rounds of happy birthday for various guests. I also heard the hostess mention that there's a 2-hr limit but it was never discussed with us directly, so maybe it loosely observed? As a vegetarian, it would be nice to know for the broths to be labeled as vegetarian/vegan as I ordered the Tom Yum base and without realizing it contained seafood in it -- would be helpful for those with allergies, too. Went there for a birthday on May 19 around 3:45. The hostess at the front desk looked at us and then looked down like she didn't care for us. No smile. My mom who is 75 asked her if there is senior discount. She ignored her. I thought she didn't hear it so I asked her myself. She had an expression of annoyance for my mom wanting senior discount and sighed and said yes. While ordering food, we were told we can't have the ribeye slices bc it was lunch and ribeye is for dinner only. When paying, my mom noticed no senior discount on the bill. The waiter, who is a very nice young man, went to change it for us. That's when the hostess showed up and saw our bill and took it from the waiter. She then came back with a new bill with dinner price. I asked the waiter why we are being charged dinner. He said sorry it's dinner after 3:30. But thats not right because their flyer says lunch until 4. And we were told we can't have ribeye and the initial bill was for lunch. The waiter looked very embarrassed and I knew that the hostess forced him to say that . It was a birthday and the waiter was a nice man so I didn't want to make a scene. But it should be illegal for them to give you a bill for lunch and then change the bill to dinner after asking for a senior discount for a 75 year old. The food was decent, but the hostess at the front desk ruined it for us. That's not how you treat repeated customers. Never go there! Way better service at the Japanese bbq and other buffets. Wow. I am blown away by this place. The variety here is incredible and everything we tried had great flavor. We each got our own broth and went with the Sichuan. Highly recommend. It had the perfect balance of heat and depth without being overpowering. You can choose to do Hot Pot or Korean BBQ for $29.99, or do both for $35. We obviously went for both and had zero regrets. On top of that, it's all-you-can-eat at that price, so definitely come hungry! Nothing is better than a restaurant where everyone can share--as you can probably deduce from my Yelp Elite status, I love to try new foods, and HAN is prefect for that! I came with a group of 6, and to maximize the HAN experience, we of course got bbq and hot pot. We each got to choose our own flavor of broth and our own mix-ins from the cooler bars, and we ordered our meats as a group for the bbq. I tried the traditional pork bone broth in my hot pot, which was a great base because it was flavorful without being overpowering. I tried lots of mix-ins, but my #1 favorite was the gyoza. I even went back for seconds! The crab meat was also a crowd pleaser, it was so tender that it melted in my mouth. As much as I loved the hot pot, the real star of the show was the bbq! The meat is top quality, so juicy and lean. My favorites were the short rib and the spicy pork belly. I would eat a whole plate of each of those by myself if I could! We ended the night with some tiramisu cake, which totally surpassed my expectations. It was so chocolaty and bakery quality. First experience with hot pot in the Indy area. Han was really nice inside. They had a little robot waitress which was funny. Our waiter was nice but had it not been for my brother to explain the process to us we would've been lost. First you pick your base, then you can use the iPad to order different meats. For veg and noodles, you grab a tray and go to the back refrigerator wall and pick out any and all toppings. There is also a sauce bar where you can mix and make your own sauce. It was a lot of fun! Loved this BBQ and Hot Pot. We took advantage of the whole deal, got both the BBQ and hot pot. We went at lunch time so the price point is lower, I think by about $10. What I really liked about this compared to another one I went to is when your grill in the middle of the table gets all the burned bits on it that would affect the flavor of the next thing you cook they come by and change it out to a fresh one. There are a few less options at lunch than at dinner but still plenty of choices. We failed to navigate the menu correctly on its iPad and our waitress went ahead and ordered a couple items for us (cool). We had picked all meats meant for the hot pot and none for the grill, she showed us where on the menu to order the BBQ meats for the grill. Don't worry if it is your first time, they will help you through the process. We ordered the Thai Tom Yum broth for the hot pot and it was very flavorful and not too spicy, it had a lemongrass finish. Located in the large strip mall just east of Castleton Mall, this place has plenty of parking and lots of choices. IMO, this place is a little overwhelming for first timers. I think that's where they get you in the up-charges. It's 30.00 for the bbq and then 5 extra for the hot pot. We didn't ask what the price was for just the hot pot. The entire table had to order the same services or that's how our waitress explained it. So the whole table had to do BBQ, or hot pot, or both. We thought since it was our first time we might as well do both. Wrong move. It was too much work to cook all the meat, tend to the hot pot, go back and forth to the fridges for veggies and dumplings and sides, etc. It wasn't a leisurely dinner with friends. We were too busy making everything to really enjoy it while having dinner conversation. The all you can order meat/seafood for the bbq part has a 2 hour limit. Not that we didn't waaaay over order on the meat for the bbq, it was good to know there was a time limit. The tables are very small with the hot pot boiling right next to you and the long platters of meat were everywhere. That's the only reason I would suggest just doing one or the other and not both. I pretty much cooked 2 dumplings and half a pack of ramen in my hot pot. I felt I wasted that part of the experience. I put some veggies in the pot as well but they got soft and lost in the broth along with my over cooked ramen because I wasn't paying attention. Besides our novice abilities in mixing up sauce concoctions, all of the meats and veggies were great quality. We had been to another hot pot place and all the meat with the exception of the chicken were mostly fat. There is also cool robot that drops off special boba drink orders and cocktails. Our water and soda was brought to the table by a human. You can't make reservations unless you are a party of 8 or more. We waited for about 15 minutes at 7 pm on a Saturday night. This is only the second time I've tried a hotpot restaurant but it's easily my favorite! All of the staff was so helpful while we were making our choices and talked us through many of the items we hadn't had before! Your table can choose either hot pot, bbq or both. We did both and I'm so happy we did because we were able to try so many new things! The setup to grab your ingredients is very simple and their hot buffet had many options to choose from that I never would've considered before. I eat here all the time. You cant beat their Lunch special Buffett. And I love their salad bar. Id pay just for their salad bar. I always get fabulous service no matter when I go. When I take a friend out, I always encourage them to try this place because its so much fun. Clean. Sleek atmosphere. I love all the servers, but I am "sweet" on Billy so I ask for him when he is there. Fantastic Korean food ! I practice not to make a mess everytime. I came here because we were hungry and this sounded delicious. Not only do they have the very best ways for you to go and pick out what you want out out of a fresh wall from vegetables and meats make your own sauce but your drinks get delivered by a robot cat! From the K-pop playing to the fresh food and simmering pots of delicious broths- we had the very best time! There's just something so connecting about sitting with Friends, cooking your own food with things you get to pick out and making magical soups and barbecues while connecting with friends. This place was fun and clean. The service was lovely. You never had an empty water glass. I've highly recommend going and enjoying not just a romantic dinner but groups of friends and family. Billy was so AMAZING!!! he was very sweet and it was my little cousin and I first time going ever and he made sure that we had the best experience. I forgot her name but she helped us as well and was so very sweet. the whole staff is sweet! I highly recommend this place to anybody for their first K-Bbq and Hot spot experience. Didn't really know what to expect from a place that serves both Korean BBQ and Hot Pot. It made me chuckle that they advertise as korean BBQ but the writing in the menu was in chinese. (did anyone else notice? xD) Anyways the table has both a warmer for the individual hot pots and also the pit for the kbbq. Service was on point and fast. The cold toppings and foods are on a shelf in the back in these nice gold cups which look very fancy. They also had a hot food bar for condiments, sauces and hot foods. The meat was good quality and you were able to see the marbling. It was between $30-40 for ayce(a little extra if you want both kbbq and hot pot) which I thought was pretty reasonable. The GF and I go here pretty consistently. And really the only place to do hotpot/ayce Korean bbq in the Northeast area. And that's okay because it's pretty good. There is a hot station that serves legit Asian. I don't know if most Hoosiers would go for it, but they have things I can't find very often. Chicken Feet, braised beef and radish, pig trotter, etc. They normally have the regular stuff too like salt and pepper wings, cheese rangoons, etc. Other than that, they have fresh clean veggies and meats.
