A sample fry dipped in ranch

So I hadn't been to hooters in maybe 10 years and it doesn't seem to have changed much. Good - wings and atmosphere are good - food received quickly - decent portions Bad - charged for sauce when got it on the side instead of on boneless wings. Also charged for each ranch and there was no celery - server basically dropped off the food and then bung out elsewhere so I had to get her as she originally forgot the ranch - no non-caffeinated pop options and they had only Pepsi products - 20 wings for $30 is $1.50 a wing and that's sort of expensive - portion of fries was decent but had a sizeable amount of crumbly or half fries So good overall Also the music was a mix and not all country so that's decent at least

Thursday night @ 6:30. Very quiet. Prompt greeting and quick seating. Maeve, our server, was very attentive. Ordered Tender Tacos, and Tenders and Fries, both on a side specialty menu (vs their main menu). Both were $9.99. Great value. Decent price for good size portions. Both orders of curly fries were cold. If they had been hot, this would have been a five star review.

How close we were to the door and it's 23 degrees out.

On the way to the AMC theater, we decided to stop here to kill a bit of time. We were sat in a section near a door while it's 23 degrees out. We asked to be moved and the hostess said all the empty tables were not available. Not sure what that was about but she was quite rude with her response. Our server was very nice but we ordered 10 wings and only got 8 and was charged for 10 Just not a good experience overall. I was really hopeful for this restaurant as everyone talks so highly of Hooters. This one truly fell short.

Thee wings taste like they were fried in old oil. The sauce was almost nonexistent. I see why this got a bad rating next time I'll believe the reviews.

Who doesn't love Hooters? Awesome wings and cold beer! We've been ordering take out from Hoots as we're trying to limit dining out during the pandemic. The online ordering is easy and the food has always been ready at the time they said it'd be. We get 20 shrimp (hot), wings (hot) and curly fries. It's just as good as at home! They have a sign out front currently letting customers know they're not taking walk ins so dining in is reservation only. They have a QR code so you can easily navigate to book a table.

50 barely seasoned wings with one ranch

I went in for my pick up order and I ordered the 50 wing piece. They only gave one ranch!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE FOR FIFTY WINGS AND I SPENT $60!!!!!!!!!! They couldn't even do 2? After asking the manager I was rudely told the same thing. 1 ranch. Absolutely horrifying. How are 3 people going to share 1 ranch for 50 wings. After spending over half $100 they really couldn't give one extra ranch and had a horrible attitude. This is the last time we order from here. When I order a 10 piece wing, I get a ranch, so I have to order a 10 piece 5 times just to get extra ranch? RIP OFF AND WASTE OF MONEY. Management is very unprofessional. Very sad. Horrible service. I AM GETTING A REFUND TOO. Worst experience ever and to think I drove in this horrible snow blizzard and freezing temperatures to be treated like this!!!!! Unacceptable. **For the record, the Hooters in downers grove is 10x better and always gives us more than 1 ranch for 50 wings. They were giving me a hard time and I am seriously offended. It is not all Hooters. Just THIS location. THEY KEEP DELETING MY REVIEW ON GOOGLE

    Welcome
    Alice K.

We were seated right away and were greeted by our waitress. We had the clam chowder sour, which was delicious. We ordered the buffalo shrimp and the original style wings. My tip is to have the wings double dipped which give it an extra sauce flavor. Our waitress did an outstanding job.

BEWARE OF DISHONEST PRACTICES! Server intentionally put black marker through the 18% service charge for our party of 10 (the line of the T is through "Service Charge" and part of the circle through the dollar amount). I didn't notice it, but thankfully my brother-in-law did! I used to be a server and always tip way more than 20%....but this just seemed SO shady, so we didn't leave anymore money. No reason to be dishonest.

I just want to share the TERRIBLE experience that I had at this location. I scheduled a pickup order at 6:14PM, and the app said that it would be ready by 6:35PM. I arrive, and the order was NOT ready UNTIL 7:04PM! What type of service is this!? CLEARLY the manager on duty is NOT doing his/her job right!!!! Waiting almost an hour for just an order of 10 wings is NOT acceptable under any circumstance. This is very upsetting. To any future customers, I advised you that if you order from this location; be prepared for a LONG wait. You will more likely receive the 4th stimulus check faster than it takes them to complete 1 small order.

So I thought we were all set. Our reservation was for 6:00, and we arrived at 5:54. We were told to wait until six, which was perfectly fine. Six o'clock rolls around and we're told they're still cleaning the table. Okay, we wait. Then we wait. And wait. Thirty minutes later, we find out the people who had the table STILL hadn't even left. Baby...what exactly were we reserving three weeks ago, a future dream? They offered us a complimentary appetizer, which I appreciate in theory, but when you've got a party of eight waiting 40 minutes past their reservation time, I'm not really looking for the cheapest appetizer on the menu. I'm looking for the table I reserved. Eventually, we were seated, and thank GOD for our server Alexis B, because they completely turned the experience around. Funny, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and genuinely one of the best servers I've ever had. If I could give them five stars separately, I would. They made us feel welcome and somehow kept the whole table laughing after that rocky start. The food had some hits and misses. The crab cake was a little too spicy for my taste, although the rest of the table enjoyed it. The mini sliders, however? DELICIOUS. That buttery, well seasoned bun was doing exactly what it needed to do. Then came my Entourage burger, and baby...THAT burger understood the assignment. It was absolutely packed with flavor. So good that I practically inhaled it. My server even asked if I wanted another one because apparently I ate it fast enough to qualify for a second round. Unfortunately, the management situation left a lot to be desired. After the issues getting our table, the managers seemed to keep watching our group throughout the night. If you're going to stare, baby, at least commit to the performance! It made an already awkward situation feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, my server Alexis B, was the ONLY reason this experience ended on a positive note. They were so charming and personable that by the end, they felt more like a friend than a server. I'm genuinely going to miss them. The food was good, and that burger was fantastic, but a three-week reservation should not turn into a 40 minute wait with a party of eight standing around wondering when they're going to eat. So unfortunately, I'm leaving with two stars. The food gave me reasons to come back, but the reservation experience and management gave me reasons to stay home. And to my server: you were the star of the night. Protect this person at all costs.

On July 26, 2026, my wife called the restaurant specifically to ask if their patio was dog friendly because we planned to bring our small dog. She was told that it was. Based on that information, we drove 31 minutes to the brewery looking forward to trying several of their beers. When we arrived, the employee informed us that only service animals were permitted on the patio. I explained that my wife had called ahead and spoken with a male employee who told us dogs were allowed. The employee admitted he was the person who answered the phone, but first claimed my wife never mentioned bringing a dog. I was present during the call and know that she specifically asked about bringing our dog. He then changed his explanation and said he "must not have understood." I found that explanation difficult to believe. I then informed him that our dog is a service dog. Instead of asking the questions permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), he repeatedly asked to see the dog's credentials. Under ADA guidance, businesses generally may not require documentation or certification for a service animal. Even after I explained this, he continued asking for credentials. To make matters worse, this all occurred around dinner time when the restaurant and patio were completely empty--we were the only customers there. The entire experience left me feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Whether this was the result of poor employee training or company policy, the staff handled the situation in a way that reflected poorly on the business. I drove over half an hour to visit a brewery I was genuinely excited to experience, only to leave without ever being served. I'm an avid craft beer enthusiast who travels around the country reviewing breweries and sharing my experiences. It's unfortunate because Hopvine had several beers I was looking forward to trying and reviewing. Instead, my only takeaway from this visit was a very disappointing customer service experience. I hope Hopvine provides better training to its staff on both communicating accurate information to customers and understanding the ADA's requirements regarding service animals. If you're posting this publicly, you may also want to attach any evidence you have (such as a call log showing the timing of the call) and keep the review focused on your firsthand experience, as that tends to make reviews more credible. Until then I would avoid this brewery at all cost until they can update their pet policy and provide better customer service.

I recommend getting a beer flight to try different flavors. Or once you find something like you (for me, it was the Brightfire) then you can get a pint! Their beer list is extensive, there are so many taps to try and they have some seasonal beers too. Their food was good and surprisingly gourmet. Each time I came here I ordered their wings because they were irresistible. You can even do half-half sauce for an order of six wings, which I appreciated because not all resistances will do this special request. It also shows that their wings are freshly prepared, and their kitchen went above and beyond to make a customer happy. I love their hot honey and buffalo. My husband has tried their patty melt and their Reuben sandwich. Nothing beats a brewery with nice people, great beers, and the gourmet food was just the cherry on top. They have a ton of space inside, don't let the strip mall entrance deceive you; bar seating, high tops, low tops, and a whole other dining area in the back if you want a quieter space. They have something similar to trivia on a weeknight, survey slam (?), and now that it's warmer, their patio is open! Some folks have mentioned slower service, but each time we've been here, we were well taken care of. I'm a huge fan of Hopvine!

When we're in town, we hit up all the old favorites, and Miller's Ale House was on the menu on June 25th. We had dinner plans with friends later, but we squeezed in a lunch date with beer and a shared appetizer. Their wings are legendary, so we ordered 12 to go with our brews. Let's get to the review. Service was top-notch - our host greeted us with a smile, and our waiter was on point. We got our beers within five minutes, no problem. The ambiance was cozy, well-lit, and bustling with sports tv and ambient noise. But here's the kicker - we waited 30 minutes for our wings. Yeah, it was 1:30 when we arrived and the place was pretty empty, but that's no excuse. Now why did give a rating of two? Well, for the service and ambiance only. We were served our wings at 2:00. How were the wings you maybe wondering? My Husband and I eagerly grab wing flats. 'Can these bones live?' Eating those wings immediately reminded me of Ezekiel 37 in the Old testament after he saw skeletons scattered about asked, "Can these bones live?" The wings were drier than the Sahara, and the honey barbecue sauce was just a weak attempt to revive the corpse. Can these dry out wings live up to being freshly made and juicy covered up by a tasty honey barque sauce? Hell to the naw, naw naw!!! We called our waiter over explained our dissatisfaction with a request to remove the wings off our bill. We still tipped him, because hey, he's not the wing assassin. since he only served the food and it was the kitchen that prepared that saucy dressed up trash plated up real pretty. What a let down Miller's. We noticed your price increase for six wings cut in half sold as 12 pieces. If you expect customers to pay more for less than you should be serving your best, that is cooked fresh not food that is precooked sitting for hours then reheated. I did check your reviews which were not the best and gave you the benefit of a doubt despite low ratings. Would I recommend Miller's? Sure, if you enjoy eating dry wings and wondering if they'll crawl off your plate. However, to each their own, your money, your call. This economy has got me rethinking the whole 'strike three and you're out' deal. Paying more for less, subpar service, unnecessary waiting time, honey it is now, strike one, you're on out as my time and coins are valuable and restaurants are hurting so I will search for one where I can get the love I deserve.
