I stopped in after a day at the beach and though I had an overload of beautiful women besieging me, decided to end my day here at this unique Hooters sitting at the outside bar area to enjoy some specialty beer from cigar city. It was recommended by the bartender Taylor I believe. And took in the beautiful scenery while catching up with a couple friends. Kellye, I'm not kidding, I think it was spelled that way helped me with my takeout order suggesting an order of the 8 boneless wings with 911 sauce. It would have been 5 stars but she forgot my lots of tots appetizer. Not entirely her fault, I have a thick accent after all. She also suggested the Fried flounder sandwich which is now my favorite from the menu because it was chicken fried the best fried. Only a little disappointed the tartar sauce, the best sauce wasn't made in house. That Ken's brand just doesn't hit the same but the sandwich was seasoned perfectly, crispy just needed a little more love with the onions on there. She made up for it with plenty of ketchup, mustard, nacho cheese, sour cream and bacon bits on the side which took my tots to the next level. Overall a good experience, both bartenders were good with service made great suggestions for beer and were friendly to everyone I could see. Great experience. No one comes here for the food but Florida hooters girls will always leave you with a smile. Hotties, ball, beer and a fried flounder sandwich are a great introduction to football season. I was greeted fairly quickly, asked for a fruity drink recommendation, and went with the suggestion. I ordered wings with curly fries and treated myself to cheesecake for dessert. The wings were spicier than I expected (could be a me problem), but they were still good, edible with lots of ranch, which is my preference. The service wasn't bad, but the men across from me definitely got more attention especially the guy buying shots for a group he'd just met (conversations were easy to overhear). Stopped on after a beach day - it was certainly an "off day" for the location. Wings and main food came out fast, but were still cold some how. Waitress forgot the drinks. The service is good, Jillian the bar tender, she is probably the head server. She is on top of everything and very proficient, she made sure that we got our food and made us some good drinks. The only thing I can say is maybe have a little more conversation with your guest. It's good she at least checked on us and asked how our food was. My drink tasted mostly like coconut though. And honestly this place had some of the best wings I have ever had. My friend and I split 10 garlic parm wings which were a dry rub and 10 medium wings. I really liked how they didn't overdo it with the sauce. We also ordered cheese sticks for an app that were amazing! My other friend got a grilled mani sandwich and she said it was one of the best sandwiches she had on this trip so far. The bartender came back and started huffing and cleaning up the mess from the previous patrons. I said, "thanks", she said nothing. We stayed 1 night in Clearwater at the new Wyndham. We got there around dinner time and wanted a quick bite so we decided to get some wings and crab legs from Hooters. Something simple. What we did not know is that we were getting dinner and a show. There was this girl vlogging or on twitch and another vlogger or twitch streamer who was dressed as goku from dragon ball z. No respect for her surroundings I do have to say i had a blast watching the drama go down... they both got in an argument over how she gets paid doing it? He legit walked out on her, the lady with the her told her she had no soul lol. The kicker... he never left!! He was inside at a table with a few other people? One star because the only thing going for this establishment on our most recent visit last week was the view and no wait time during a busy event . We as a family of 5 adults and 2 children visited last week after attending sand festival . We were seated ordered our drinks and food right away , the waitress admitted to us that there were only 3 people working in the kitchen that day from the first interaction so we knew something was bound to go wrong but thought hey everywhere is short staffed let's give it a chance . We'll all of our food was served except one adult meal and one child's dinner after already waiting so long for the food . As we begin to dig in I find a short curly hair wresting in my side of hot sauce on my mozzarella stick plate so that just ruined it for me all together at that point I don't want any of the food . Moving forward we are all done eating still missing two meals our waitress claimed the ticket fell in the kitchen and retook the order , meanwhile we have one toddler starving and another who no longer wants to sit there . I ask to speak to the manager who unfortunately didn't seem to want to hear my concerns , told me that the waitress said we all ordered at different times that's how she missed it which was untrue , why would we all order our dinners at separate times together . She didn't even want to discuss the matter she sighed and said I'll take the mozzarella sticks and kids meal off the bill and a drink and just walked away , no apology just didn't want to be bothered ! If customer service isn't your thing don't be in the hospitality field . I don't want to sound ungrateful but our whole meal is as ruined , our time spent sitting there , waiting all the extra time for everyone else's meals and not even a sorry , honestly we shouldn't have paid the bill at all . Terrible service , customer service , and the manager should have been more personable regarding there mistakes , the fact that hair ended up in our food ( are they even wearing hair nets ) . Great food as well as great service. Me and the family had a fun time getting to chill at this spot. Our servers name was Katelin and she was kind and very attentive with whatever we needed. We had just eaten dinner somewhere else, but went looking for a place to have a drink with a water view. This Hooters fit the bill. We went to their "lookout" on the top floor. Unfortunately, it was a rainy and gray day, but I can certainly see the appeal of coming here during nicer weather. The lookout consists of the covered bar area, but has ample seating outdoors too. You can catch some water views in the distance. Drink prices seemed to be about average, I got a Shock Top that was on special and hubby went for some kind of frozen concoction. We've been here before because we are locals. Sometimes we stay out at the beach for a weekend and when we do, we have gone here to watch sports and have some wings. I've never had any issues with this location as far as service or food. I have to say that I am reviewing this time and giving them a 4 because I think they do a good job with their social distancing of tables, cleaning, masking of staff, etc. Our server was great, didn't come around too much or too little, our food came out hot and correct. The staff tuned the tvs to the channel of the Lightning game for us. No complaints at all... in fact we went to dinner at an upscale place the following night and it sucked. Well most of us know hooters. We have been here a couple times. Mostly for the wings. I have also gone just for their steamed shrimp and crab legs. They are pretty good. Clearwater Beach Hooters has a great location to take pics by the water. We are lucky to have the new Clearwater Beach Hooters location, and get to witness the great beauty of the beach. There are several levels at this hooters. Definitely different than what I have seen before. We have also been to the hooters in Clearwater. It is pretty cool that it is the first Hooters. read more
