This place is subpar. I understand that they were damaged in the storm so you think things would look cleaner. The chairs are old and torn up leaving them uncomfortable to sit on. There is 1 bathroom which is the women's so now it is unisex. 1 stall didn't work so only had 2 stalls to use. Unfortunately the stalls were being used so we were told to go to another bar to use their bathroom. The day bartender wasn't personable. We felt like we were inconviencibg her. The night time bartender wasn't not approachable either. Her chest was literally falling out of her shirt and her shorts were so far up her booty it looked like her ass ate them. It was neither attractive nor sexy. Gave a very low class vibe. The drinks were ok. (We didn't order anything fancy). Came to see the fight as advertised on their instagram, no fight. Dead bar, no ambiance or experience. 1 unisex bathroom?? they are in the middle of renos i guess. Very mediocre sports bar. Wouldn't recommend unless you've had a few drinks and it's the only spot open. The food was very basic but the service was below average. The waitress couldn't provide any real recommendations. Only came here because the bell hop at the Hilton recommended the wings. The waitress looked quite confused when asked what was good there. She started reading the menu and just naming stuff. Couldn't even tell us what the happy hour drinks were. The wings were listed as market price. Everything was a little pricey when the bill came. Didn't like that there was a child between 10-13 helping to roll silverware, napkins, while also taking time to run through the restaurant and play outside. Seems like a health concern. Awesome local sports bar, wide variety of food to much on while watching some sports. Had fantastic bartender- Shannon. She happily accommodate our special request. We came here a couple of times while on our weekend trip. Not too crowded but heard it's generally crowded when there is a good game or UFC fight playing. Wonderful mix of crowd from all walks of life and the food was really good especially for a sports bar! Every time I am in Clearwater Beach I come to Toucan's. Was there last night and finally decided to do a review on it. It is a nice laid back restaurant with most delicious food and drinks. I came with a friend and we tried the lobsters for the first time. Usually I have grouper or mahi-mahi. We also had margaritas. Food is delicious ... always. Whatever I tried here has always been good. Drinks are strong especially for me, since I don't drink that much. One drink is more than enough I like the relaxed laid back ambiance. Some days they have music, other days there is a game. I also like to frequent this place because of the service. It is not a posh restaurant, but the service is spectacular. All the waitresses and bartenders are super nice, and the managers make sure all is well. Overall, it is a recommended place. It is not my usual type of place, but when I am on vacation, on the beach, I want to have a relaxed tasty dinner with friends - Toucans is just the right place for that read more

Five Stars !! We were walking in Clearwater beach yesterday checking menus and I see "garlic butter cheese fries" and I'm not going to lie it sucked me right in ! First I want to say our waitress was a sweetheart she was kind , helpful , and attentive ! The inside was nice and spacious and not crowded , clean bathrooms ( but the one sink really needs fixing ) ! Now on to the important stuff the food was PHENOMENAL!!!! Can I just say there mozzarella sticks are triangles and that is rare to find anywhere and they are my absolute favorite , I ordered hot sauce because typically I like to dip my mozzarella in that come to find out they make there own hot sauce and marinara sauce and the flavors were outstanding , hot sauce was spiced just right and you could taste the fresh basil in the marinara ! The garlic butter cheese fries were out of this world and so flavorful ! We also had grilled cheese sandwiches and nachos that all hit the spot ! The drinks were ice cold and tasty ! I can't wait to return ! Oh and the last thing I thought was adorable on the kids menu it says pisketti for spaghetti and I thought that was just the cutest ! read more

Not sure why this place has a bad rep. Every place has their strong suits and weak spots :) I am normally not some who will pay $20 for a Caesar salad with chicken but I'm glad I did! People need to remember that this a restaurant post pandemic and a MINUTE from the beach. Times have changed, prices for EVERYTHING has gone up and everyone's trying their best. Toucans is a nice little spot to grab food and drinks at Clearwater beach. It never really appears to be very busy so we typically sit at the bar because of the TV situation. The bartenders have always been on top of our needs and quick to get us drinks. They have a pretty big menu with 15 or more options to build a Sandwhich or wrap. I typically order a wrap of some sort. The buffalo chicken and chicken Cesar wraps are my two favorites. The food comes out quickly and is pretty darn good for bar food. The price points are also above average for being located at the beach and the beer is inexpensive. I'm curious as to what their appetizers and soups taste like so I'll put that on my list of things to try next time. Overall, a good experience and good food. read more

*DO NOT GO HERE PLS* If I could write a zero I would. I could write a laundry list of items but I'll keep it brief because they are not worth that much text even. First of all service was TERRIBLE. All waiters were incompetent and were confused at every single transaction possible. Ordering one thing should not take over an HOUR to order. When I finally got one thing they gave me the wrong thing and upcharged me a higher item. They refused to give me the right item and refused to give me any compensation. Even with the wrong item the glass was dirty (looks like it wasn't cleaned in ages) and there were multiple hairs in my drink. In addition to that we were hoping for at least a somewhat peaceful night but there were a bunch of 18 and 19 year olds, which I'm surprised they are serving minors (which I would hope they would eventually get busted to save others from having to ever experience this place). But just to wrap it up before I get too aggravated, DONT go here. Food and drink are terrible and every single worker there is rude and just unprofessional. read more

Touscan's is a decent place. Food is a combo of traditional American with seafood options, exactly what would you expect from a bar in a beachtown. Shrimp cocktail was tasty and the server warned in advance that its a small appetizer, which is a good piece of attention. I would recommend to put cocktail sauce right into the glass, and get rid of extra plastic container that it came with. Speaking of service by the way, the lady was very nice and served everything in a matter of minutes. I didn't catch her name, and the check read man's name instead, but thank you anyways. Veggie burger was good too, only they do not offer sweet potato fries as a side option. Instead, I asked for a coleslaw and I enjoyed it as well. The bathrooms however leave much to be desired. I would recommend to pay attention to its cleaniness, even though I visited the place on Friday night, which I suppose is the peak time of the week. I also can't get why some appetizers cost as much as an entree. I would love to hear a reason to ask $13 for Mozarella sticks, Fried mushrooms or even caprese... Veggie burger was $12 by the way, while regular were in between 12 and 14, which is an ok price. read more
