This place is so far the worst place I have been in US. To start it smells inside. The staff is as minimum hostile. All waitresses standing in one corner and you have to wait a lot since they manage to come to get your order. Nevertheless HOOTERS depends all on staff and this place earned one star for sure not any more. I can tell HOOTERS in Crestview is 100% better! P.S. I came to Destin on vacation and this was one of the very few spots actually open late on the side I was staying on. The service was super slow . However one of the girls explained how they were short staffed and I noticed . The girls were super nice and apologetic about the situation so I didn't mind at all. Not many people are big on the this Hooters but we have been a fan for a while. Best thing on the menu is the Honey Thai wings, breaded drummies. Great Hooters hostesses/servers, Megan has always been one of our favorites. We're just sad that we can no longer bring our Great Dane puppy here on Saturday's for the games. Even my wife enjoyed herself with the food and the great service. I have been to other Hooters restaurants and the service was slow and the food was not prepared very well, but at this particular restaurant, everything was great. My family and I ate here on our vacation on the night we needed a break from seafood. When we arrived it was not too busy and our server, Baylee, was quick to get our drink order. Went there as we were getting some beach time. The NBA finals were on. Sound was it loud enough to hear. Took 45 minutes to get some wings and a grilled chicken sandwich out. Crazy. Food is great and consistent with Hooter's everywhere, atmosphere also today and satisfactory, yet if you go to bar and Viana is your bartender you can expect to be disappointed by the exceedingly and inexcusable poor service. Went in for Veterans Day celebration with a group of fellow Veterans. They had great specials for it and for the football season. Lauren did an incredible job at taking care of us! We decided to come here as one of the people I visited Destin with loves the Daytona style wings. The service here was very good. However, when I travel I like to try new things, and this was just like every Hooters experience I've ever had in my life. We got two appetizers, fried pickles and loaded tater tots. Both were very delicious! The fried pickles come with a dipping sauce that is very good. For entrees we got shrimp tacos, Daytona style wings, 1/2 lb steamed shrimp, and regular boneless mild wings. The shrimp tacos were very good! They had a sauce in them that made them very tasty. Never trying the Daytona wings before, I was excited to see what all the excitement was about. These wings were actually really good. Best of all, they weren't fried like most wings. The shrimp was just like any other shrimp. They came with butter to dip them in and you had to peel them yourself. However, the reason I am giving only 3 stars is because the mild wings were horrible. How do you mess up boneless mild wings? I'm almost 100% certain they forgot to put mild sauce on these, as they were very bland and tasted just like fried chicken. Overall, if you're in Destin I would recommend trying something new, not Hooters. You won't be disappointed if you come here, but why not try something else that you can't get at home? What to get? I would definitely recommend the loaded tater tots as an appetizer and shrimp tacos or Daytona style wings for your entree. read more

Very poor service! My husband and I left after not being helped for over 15 mins. They waitresses just kept walking past us. So we walked out but than I thought it would be a good idea to let the manager know what happened. He apologized but we were over it by then and left. It's so sad to treat people this way. read more

Had the oysters. Normally I love Hooters oysters, but here they were not shucked properly. At any Hooters, do not have their orange juice they do not use a quality OJ. Just thinking about their OJ makes me sick. The service sucked when we came. Not enough check backs, not too friendly, and slow. Had a mojito, yuck. If you do get the mojito here, be sure to mix it so it tastes better. Also had a pina colada. Make that a double yuck. Tastes like they just use a pre-mix. Very syrupy sweet with a generic coconut taste. Since the orange juice is horrible, I would suggest stayin away from any fufu OJ drinks. 0 STARS! I'll start by saying I am a Hooters fan. We had a party of 10. They gave us a trainee. The restaurant was busy but not packed at all (60%). I was the first person to place my order per the instructions of the server. They forgot to take the 10th person's order. 15 minutes later when everyone's drinks are empty, the server and trainee return to ask me and one other what our orders were. Come to find out, they lost our tickets(it happens). But before all said and done, two of the orders had to be written down three times. And then, everyone's orders had to be taken again (4th time) so that they could fill out our tickets. 6 people were out of drinks for 20 minutes. 1:30 after our arrival, we received our food which was 45 minutes after everyone else. The manager walked up with the two servers, and the most she said was "Sorry about the wait". No arrangments were made to correct the issues and no big apologies were made. The manager did not seem to ever care that mistakes were made. It is by far the worst service I have had at any Hooters. And this is a Hooters that I have been to frequently. Definitely disappoint after we finally got our tickets and paid out 2 and a half hours after arriving. read more
