Don't like to complain.... But this was just a mess. First it took about 30 minutes to get an order of fries, 10 wings and a side salad. This wouldn't have been an issue if the food was right. The salad was wrong, the wings were traditional and not boneless. The 2nd salad that came out was just a bowl of lettuce. We had to ask for tomatoes and cucumbers on the side and the waitress seemed amazed by the fact that it didn't have them, but she just brought the bowl out to us. We must be magicians to make them disappear in front of her. After waiting another 15 min for boneless wings they arrived and they were the tiniest wings I have ever seen. Out of all the hooters I've been too over the years, I have to say, this one is probably the best. From the time I walked in, the staff were very cordial and ready to serve. Everyone seemed to be well trained, organized and well groomed. The place was very clean from the floors to the tables tops and bar, very clean which made me feel comfortable with all the COVID 19 issues. Location is awesome with great water view seating. Plenty of big screen tv's, for college football when it returns. Most Hooters have pretty staff members, but usually limited to one or two exceptional. This hooters was exceptional.. everyone staff member.. but I come here for the Daytona shrimp and wings... they did not disappoint. They were very good.. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the price.. for wings, it's pricey. Plus there's an additional fee charged for the Escambia Island Authority.. felt like I was on Virginia Beach where there's so many additional charges.. city tax, county tax.. state tax, etc read more

The inside of the restaurant smelled of body oder as soon as you step inside. Outside wasn't any better. We were seated outside in front of a tv that apparently wasn't working, and my wife and I sat there for about 10 and no one came to take our drink order. We left and went to another restaurant. If I had written this on my first visit, it would rate a one. You ask why I returned, they overlook the boardwalk where I met and then proposed to my wife. First visit: Inattentive staff, brought me the wrong order. The wrong order was grossly mis-sauced (I didn't touch it, but it was so bad significant portions of the wings had zero sauce). My order showed up and they were grossly over cooked and poorly sauced (not as bad as the first but still bad). Next visit: This server did much better. The wings were ok but nothing special (compared to my first visit it was dramatically better). I'm going to give a two but if you are a Hooters fan you might want to take it as a three. read more

I wouldn't even give it one star. This is now the second time we have been there at 7 pm, they close at 8 pm, and were told there is a 45 min wait but we could order to go. There were only about 3 tables that didn't have food and the bar had several people. I completely understand about the labor shortage but there were 6 waitress standing at the food window. I have seen it with more customers and maybe about 2-3 more waitresses and there still not be a 45 minute wait. read more

Never again! The server sat us at a booth and the first thing served was a cockroach! I practically jumped out of my skin but actually jumped out of the booth! It crawled over the top of the booth.. a regular! I informed the server who proceeded an attempt to soften the situation stating that's it's not a cockroach but a water bug that comes in from the water...I don't think so! This is the first review that I have ever done. It's Blue Angels weekend and the wait is over and hour which is understandable but the establishment was pretty much empty on the inside. We choose to do put our name on the list. We come back to check in after the hour and there are seats at the bar that the hostess offers. There were two large parties ahead of us. The three of us decide to take a seat at the bar; however, the hostess would not serve us. I went back over the hostess at the door and explained what was going on and she said you should have been able to order. She then offered to get her manager who present with a rag over his mouth coughing uncontrollably. Meanwhile, the two cooks they had in the back were goofing around and one was on his cellphone. The manager then says I will talk to her to go ahead and let you guys go ahead and order. He proceeded to go back to the back I assume to get his cough in order. We wait another 5 minutes and decided to find other options. Just.... not good. Stopped here after looking for a brew on the boardwalk and soon realized we should have gone somewhere else. Been to Hooter's all over the Gulf Coast, and this one, by far, is the WORST. Consistently so. Maybe they think they don't have to try because they're the Hooters on Pensacola beach and that's hot shit or something and people are going to go there regardless. I don't know. They certainly don't try. The only thing they DID try at during this last visit was getting the LSU game on the tv's for us. That's why this is a 2 star rating instead of 1. The poor waitress just... she was nice and all, but she was on some other planet. She certainly wasn't listening to us very much. In fact, most of the waitresses there just.... looked like they did NOT want to be there. The whole restaurant had the ambiance and vibe that a human cargo ship would. I ordered a brew and wasn't asked what size. I was just brought a pint. I chalked that up to just forgetfulness, but when we ordered food, my party couldn't overlook the fact that this poor girl just wasn't very good; and that was stated by my buddy who works IN the server business. First, he asked the girl specifically if the cheesy tots had shredded cheese or cheese sauce on it. She says, "Oh... it's like.. melted cheese..." So he gets them and they come out with cheese sauce. Cheese sauce is disgusting. So we thought, "Ok, maybe she just didn't understand". So then we order wings. 2 orders of boneless and my buddy literally points to the picture of the original wings and says, "I want original wings, please." What came out was 3 orders of boneless. My wings were disgusting. I got the mild buffalo wings and they came out looking like someone poured that butter flavor oil for popcorn all over it. It wasn't very tasty at all. Those wings tasted like butter flavor wings. So I then asked for a thing of medium buffalo sauce and what I got looked like a congealed gelatinous mass which had the same color as buffalo sauce, but still tasted like melted butter. That's funny, one looked like melted butter oil and the other looked like half melted orange butter. I vacation in Pensacola often for 27 years. There's no reason to ever EAT at this Hooters again for as long as it stands. As far as the beer, though, that wasn't bad. Fresh and cold. Good. After the first beer came out and I pointed out that the waitress had not asked me if i wanted a bigger one, I made sure she knew that the next one would have to be a Big daddy.
