I feel like some people think girls hate going to hooters. But honestly I don't really see why, it's a restaurant just like every other restaurant just with really pretty waitresses and a lot of guys. Anyways I honestly don't mind going because they have deep fried pickles. These things are so so tasty. It's not a lot of breading and the sauce they give you adds a little kick to it. Now I have had their sandwiches and they are really nothing spectacular. But since going with the bf I've gotten more of their wings lately. Their wings are pretty tasty and rather large too. Plus you really can't beat an all you can eat wing night on Mondays for only $12. Plus you can try any flavor you would like for each round. Manager was too chatty with the male customers (lady with blonde hair). She was unpleasant and the restaurant was not busy at all. Our service (Ashleigh, you da bomb) was nice and the food was too. She cut me off after the second drink because she, the manager, didn't want the two men to take the focus off of her as she spoke with them for 45 minutes; after interrupting our conversation with them. I'm sorry I don't have a penis. The manager should talk to all of the customers; not just the men. The last thing Hooters needs is a misogynist female as a manager. read more

I went to HOOTERS on west broad on Sat 2,2014 .with some friends.we were sat down and ordered beers and diet pepsi.the waitress was waiting on us great for a little while .then ordered another beer nd she never asked if we wanted another and she was standing across the room talking to her boyfriend I guess .wouldn't come back after we got the check we had to go to the bar to pay the bill she came up like she had a attitude problem. Always been a big fan of the food but since the owners changed and corporate took over it has steadily crashed. Wife ordered a taco salad ...what a joke. The box came with a small cup of chili, some lettuce and 5 chips. Seriously 5 chips. We asked if that was right and the answer was "yes, it comes with 5 chips." I didn't know chips were such a delicacy. Please don't offer to send me gift certificates or such because the last time I had a problem the "regional manager" called me and said he would send out some gift cards to make it right. Still waiting guy. No more chances for this place. I gave two stars because at least this time my drink had carbonation. Maybe Twin Peaks will come pit here. read more

Very disappointed. We have been customers of this place since it opened. Corporate has come to manage this store and they have remodeled the whole place. You would think if they are going to put all of this money into a place they would hire staff that cares, We found out some of them don't. Same obnoxious crowd. Do not sit by the high top tables near the bar! You will have to deal with the managers and waitresses socializing with these really loud and rude men. And the waitresses seem to think that its okay to be talked to like they are trash. Just don't get it. One waitress never waited on a table the whole time we were there. But she kept sitting on this one customer at the bar. And the female manager was not much better. Don't get me wrong, most of the people that work there are awesome and are working while in school. I know this. Its just a shame that a few bad people can ruin a whole experience for everyone. Not sure we will be going back. Especially since there are so many other places in the area. I used the Yelp Eat24 app to put in an Order for delivery from this location. I ordered 4sliders, beef, with Cajun sauce but I received 4 fried chicken sliders with ranch. I called to bring it to their attention, was placed on hold for too long, and I ended up hanging up. I often get the idea that restaurants like this one don't take delivery or takeout orders as seriously as they do for those who are dining there. And it's a shame, because having to take these orders away from the restaurant, drop them off, the get a call about them being wrong and having to refund or send the correct order, it's inefficient. You should put more thought and checks into the orders that go out for delivery. And please don't say that I should've checked the order at the door. That was your expo's job. read more

Took 20 minutes to get 2 beers & took about an additional 1 hour to get our food. Server barely ever checked on us. This was our third time coming (we were thinking the third time's the charm) and all three experiences were terrible. You won't find me here anymore. read more

Well thank God for Daisy Dukes. This is by far one of the worst places I've ever been in my life the food is for the bottom of the pit. Order six chicken wings it took them 30 minutes or more to even bring them to me. And on top of that the chicken taste like pork so if you have low-quality of food taste great place to go but I can tell you I will never return. read more

I've worked in the hospitality business for over 5 years and to this day I've never experienced service this poor. I've worked as , trained, and supervised servers and have never encountered anything like this before. I came with 8 of my friends on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was not busy however our server did not bring us our drinks for 30+ mins. She kept us waiting just as long for our food. When we got our food not only we're our orders not correct two of them we're poorest prepared. On top of this the waitresses attitude was unbelievably rude. My 45mins quick drink with some friends turned into a 2 hour ordeal. I will not be returning. read more

When I approached the front desk to be seated it took the waitresses a few seconds to realize and acknowledge me because they were talking and laughing with one another. Once seated, no waitress ever came to my table. I waited 10 minutes or more without being approached. A table of 4 young ladies that arrived after me did get service though. I left. I ordered my food at 11:43 online. The email confirmation that I received said that my food would be ready for pickup at 12:03. I go...I tell the bartender I placed on online order, and she tells me that she doesn't see it. I show her the email confirmation and ask if that was the correct location, and she confirms. She tells me she's gonna check with the kitchen. She comes back and tells me that it's not there either, but she'll get the manager. The manager comes and asks me what did I get. Again, I show the email confirmation. I advise him that I'm just gonna leave because I have to wait for him to make my food, but he assures me it wouldn't take that long. From the time I got there to the time I left was about 35 minutes. Completely defeats the purpose of online ordering. And still was charged the entire amount and given a card for $10 off of my next purchase. Lol!! That was a joke seeing as I'm not going back. read more

For the Pac v. Mayweather fight, a friend and I came five hours hours early to snack, drink and watch a few baseball games since they advertised seating was "first come first serve." We were happy to pay a cover but were moved from the seats at the bar because they were "reserved" though we had sat there for a few hours. We got "approved" seating but then were moved twice more. Later two strangers were sat at our table to fill all seats: not horrible as they were good company. But what management did here was sell tickets for individuals seats, not charge a cover. The place had many standing and had to be over capacity. I am sure there are differences in zoning/taxes and such specific to ticket sales for precisely this reason. It was poorly organized, poorly communicated and the result was alienating two customers who spent hundreds that day. No attempt was made to make up for the confusion and musical chairs to save a customer relationship. Instead, managements indignation was obvious as they were apparently completely confused why someone one wouldn't want to keep moving from place to place. read more

Hooters absolutely has the best half-pound cheeseburgers in the Richmond-Metro area. Well, actually, it's the best cheeseburger I've ever eaten. It's perfectly cooked and seasoned. I like mine with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions and either American, cheddar or provolone cheese. I also love their Philly cheesesteak, which is loaded with meat and melted cheese. Naturally I want their curly fries too. I usually go to this Hooters, the one at 7912 West Broad Street. The service is excellent--professional, attentive and friendly. Two of my favorite waitresses are Kristina and Brooke, but they all make me feel welcome and that they truly appreciate my business. You can't ask for more than that. read more

Some friends and I went for lunch on a Wednesday, and took advantage of "Wing Wednesday;" 10 Boneless Wings tossed with your choice of sauce, served with fries, for only $6.99. I have had BBQ from around the world and Hooters is the best. Their hot chicken sandwich has so much chicken that you need two buns to eat it as a sandwich. They have a number of sauces that are all great depending on your heat level. I have tried many other BBQ restaurants and they have all come away wanting. read more

I have been going to this location for 15+ years. It has had highs and lows in that time period, but more of the former than the latter. In the last six months or so the food has markedly improved, particularly the wings. Further, they have recently changed the menu and have added some great new entrees. They also have changed their buns(no snickering), at least on their chicken sandwich and it is a change for the better. The service here can be poor on occasion, but generally my experience has been pretty positive at dinner and consistently good at lunch. If you have not been in a while, give it another shot. I would recommend the outside (glassed in and climate controlled) non-smoking section as it is a little quieter and (at lunch) brighter than the inside section. I would also recommend avoiding Bikini contest or UFC nights UNLESS you are going for that particular event. read more

These servers really don't know the meaning of customer service. I went to Hooters this evening to get the buy 10 wings get 10 free special. I called in advance and knew the special was only available for dine in. As I was being seated, I told the waitress I wanted the special. She looked at me like I had 2 heads. "You mean the Father's Day Special" she asked, "oh that is only for fathers". "So I can't get the special?" I asked to be sure I understood what she was saying. "Yes, it's only for Fathers". Obviously I was not going to eat 20 wings by myself, my plan was to eat some at the restaurant and bring some home to the Father in my life [who was just getting off work. Rather than argue I just left and went next door to Quaker Steak & Lube. What about the families without dad's and those who have fathers deployed in far off places. I guess you're just SOL as far as Hooters is concerned, even though the company ads said nothing about their specials being exclusively for fathers. I guess next time you go out for Mother's Day, mom is the only one who can get a special offer. This is just one more instance of how the service sucks at the West Broad Hooters. As a woman I find the waitstaff generally does not know how to serve couples because they can't just sit at the table and flirt with the patron. Also they only had 1 small TV showing the NBA playoff game. If you have 20 TVs, why not show a variety of different sports, not just WWE? I have never had a problem with the wings here, but without the service and true sports atmosphere they can keep the food.
