I'm not a big fan of wings so I can't tell you how great they are at this place. But from my friends who like wings, they do rave about the ones from Hooters. I usually get the Buffalo Chicken salad and it's as fresh and full of crispy chicken as I get at any restaurant. To me this restaurant is more like an amusement park. A place to go for a change of pace in atmosphere and scenery. And when you go to an amusement park, you shouldn't be disappointed because their hot dogs aren't as good as Paradise Pup, or that their hamburgers don't rivel those from Red Robin. I've been to this location a million billion times, especially with my coworkers for lunch. I work with a bunch of guys who go for the wings! :) We have had some of strangest service issues here with the pretty ladies missing items, doing strange things to our bill, forgetting drinks, it seems there is always some kind of service issue. However, it's hot girls serving you so I think you let them get away with a lot that wouldn't be acceptable anywhere else. They definitely have an A Squad and a B Squad. Sadly for us, it's usually the B squad during lunch with a couple A teammates which I imagine to be rookies. I have tried some different things here like the hot dog which isn't anything too special and the chicken sandwich to which I had the same reaction. The wings are definitely Hooter's saving grace! They are quite good I just wish they would deliver! We get wings every Friday from different places and last Friday we picked them up from Hooter's. Yummy! Met a work friend here - his choice because a) it's close to his office and b) they sell very large beers. I am ashamed to admit that until yesterday, I had never been in a Hooters. I guess I thought it was something that it wasn't. I'm sorry, I was wrong. It's actually a decent restaurant and while the waitstaff are wearing shorts and tops that show their "assets", it's not obscene unless you prefer your women in burkhas. I don't know if it's quite a "family" restaurant, but the waitresses do make a big deal with the kids. Maternal instinct? The boneless wings were excellent and the "hot" level of spice wasn't really that spicy. I really enjoyed the curly fries and the large Blue Moon beer was great. I'd prefer they offer a few non-mainstream beers or a local microbrew, but they don't seem to go in that direction. They have a ton of TV's tuned into the current sports events, but they're all muted. Instead, you get random songs from assorted artists. Parking for this location is a bit of a pain. You can ONLY park in the Hooters lot. Don't try parking in the office lot or the neighboring restaurant. There are a ton of signs warning that they will tow you. Bonus: Free wi-fi! read more

Front door girl was rude. We made a reservation for 9:15pm. We were four minutes late and she would not seat us. What's the point of a reservation if it's invalid when you come in. The bar is usually pretty attentive. Not saying that all the waitresses and bartenders don't do a good job but there is a really good bartender that does an extra good job. She likes to converse and engage with her customers. Laurie is a really special and great bartender it is hard to find that. The food is amazing. I love the wings here. My brother and I stopped in for dinner at Hooters during the week and we had a very tasty meal. Normally we like to hit up wing places and it had been a while since we've posted up at a Hooters we were due. I'm glad we did because we had a delightful experience. As soon as we arrived I started yakking my brother's ear of (telling him a story) and thus didn't even get a chance to look at the menu. Our waitress was super cool about it, stopping by to check on us every couple of minutes (thought in reality it was probably like every ten or so haha), and not getting annoyed that I wasn't taking any action. When I finally did she made sure to bust my chops about it, which was fantastic. The food came out hot and tasted freshly made, which is always a plus. We both had the boneless wings with regular hot flavor. In addition to that I had the Jerk dry rub with was pretty tasty. I have to say though, their standard buffalo sauce is the way to go. It's been perfected over generations and is unbeatable by their other options. Good food, good service, solid value for your dollar. We had a very enjoyable meal and we will certainly keep this location in mind for future brother guy nights. read more

Picked up a carry out order for wings. Staff was friendly, but the wings were mediocre at best. Was almost afraid to eat them once I saw the inside of the restaurant. The place looks very dirty and rundown. Even heard customers on the way out talking about how dirty the bathrooms were and that the walls in the restaurant itself were just as bad. We visit locations across the US, since I moved to Chicago, this is the closest location to us. The only thing this location has been good at is being consistent with being inconsistent. We thought we needed to go at a busier time, we gave them a 3 chances. Two previous visits included bad preparation of food and then waitress being awkward. On this visit we requested crispy wings again. They came out soggy as usual. We kindly requested that they be remade. No attitude. We apologize profusely, even though we shouldn't. Waitress walks over to manager to have conversation. Manager says nothing to us. At other locations, managers walk up just to say hello. At no other location to include those in GA, Texas, SC, NC and California have we had a bad experience. Cooks were angry, visibly looking in our direction several times making the visit awkward. After waiting 20 more minutes, chicken wings still weren't out. We asked to be closed out and left. We definitely won't give it another try. read more

Went in today, Friday September 22nd around noon and was NOT greeted but then eventually greeted by maybe the most unpleasant hostest Ive ever encountered. You are legit the face of the place when someone walks in.. to have a horrible attitude and mood walking in was beyond off putting. Not only that, but I noticed she continued to mope around the entire place for the duration of our visit. i used to like Hooters. Ten years ago. It's not that great anymore. We were out in Schaumburg and I let him choose where to go for dinner, and of course this is what he picked. We were seated right away, there was plenty of seats available - it was a weeknight. Table and menus were sticky. Waitress was less than good/friendly. We both ordered wings and fries. I found the wings to be horrible, and the fries were cold and gross. And the bill was ridiculous. Some shitty wings/fries and two Cokes. it was like $40. Let me start off with the restrooms.. they are horrendous, disgustingly dirty. Men's and women's restroom toilets and floors are bespattered with urine. This is unacceptable for an establishment serving food. I have seen better cleanliness in gas station rest stop. And the smell.. that smell alone will send you back into your car to find somewhere else to eat and pee. Their food is pretty good but will most likely leave you gassy. The fries are always super dry so I always go with the tater tots as a side instead. I am a big fan of the Big Fish Sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of fish but this sandwich is definitely a game changer for me when you slap on some mayo! We usually order for Carry Out. These were the worst wings I have ever had at Hooters. The awful thing is I am not sure why. They looked the same but the taste was the worst. Nothing is worse than spending money on food you over using take out. This means you are forced to pay for something you do not like AT ALL. The pleasent aspect of the experience was the nice male host at the door, Yes, Hooters employs a few males. I received the order when promised and there is designated parking for take out orders. Came to this location for the first time, and we were seated pretty fast, didn't have to wait long, our server was nice and friendly. For me, there are 3 types of buffalo wings I enjoy. The traditional buffalo wing with no breading. (I love Buffalo Joes) The wing that offers several flavors outside of buffalo such as a BWW or Wing Stop. Lastly, the breaded buffalo wing. Hooters is where I go for the breaded wing. Occasionally, when I'd get a craving for this type of wing Hooters hits the spot. Everything else is typical bar food. I do however enjoy their Mexicurly fries, Buffalo Shrimp with whatever beer special is on. I noticed they upgraded and added flat screen tvs at every corner of the restaurant. They literally have one for every angle in which you sit. Wi fi is offered here, which is nice considering I like to travel with my netbook on occasion. The staff is pretty friendly and attentive. Great place to watch a game. I really only dine in the Schaumburg location though. I'm sure most other Hooters are pretty much similar. read more

Placed an order for pick up and was told that I need a mask in order to walk 3 feet into the building to pick up my phone order - the manager was a complete jack ass and told me I could not enter the building without a mask, to which I told him if he even if I walked in with a mask you'd sit me down at a table 5 feet away where I would then take my mask off!!! Not too happy with my experience with this location. Went here for lunch with a friend. Waitress didnt seem to care at all. She took our drink orders. left for while. Eventually she took our appetizer order. We basically finished them for a bit until she finally decided to take our food order since she assumed we just wanted an appetizer. She took the food order from my friend and tried to walk away, assuming we were gonna share it. We had to call her back for my order. if this place was busy, at least I would be a little more understanding but it was not. Ive had waitresses who were friendly and chatted a bit. But she did not care at all and didnt seem friendly at all. On the plus side, when we eventually got our food... it was hot.
