Ambience - man, this is a sports bar... loud tv's, a huge bar, and pretty nice. We asked for and received a booth and I very quickly ordered a local ale, while hubby had soda water - he is, after all, the designated driver - natch! We decided on chicken tenders and the spinach and artichoke dip to get started, while he ordered the French onion soup and I had the soup for the day which turned out to be chicken enchilada soup. The chicken tenders came with a choice of two different sauces. We chose Caribbean jerk and garlic Parmesan. They were very nice to also bring us a ranch and blue cheese! Talk about hitting the sweet spot! Fortunately, the chicken tenders were not breaded too much and tasted really good - even better, they were piping hot fresh out of the fryer! Just the way I love them. The spinach and artichoke dip? Well, they were a little skimpy on the chips and it was a very spinach forward dip. I usually like to have more of an artichoke flavor. The French onion soup, however, was not very warm unfortunately - and this was a very clear comparison to my chicken enchilada soup, which was piping hot. I think they should both have come hot to the table don't you? Our waitress was fantastic. I really couldn't say enough good things about her. My family and I swung by on a Sunday, and it was awesome to walk into such a lively atmosphere with the football games playing on bunch of tv's it really set a fantastic vibe for the afternoon. The entire place felt so welcoming and looked impeccably clean, which is always a huge plus. Even though the bar area was buzzing with people and pretty packed, your staff seemed to handle everything with ease and a friendly demeanor. Now, let's talk about the food absolutely top notch. I'm still raving about the Tush Push Burger. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and the flavors just exploded with every bite. Seriously, it's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time, and I'd recommend it to absolutely everyone. I also dove into the Zinger Mac and Cheese, which was a delightful surprise. It had a unique and delicious twist that made it stand out from any other mac and cheese I've tried at different restaurants. The Mimi's Fiesta Bowl Oh my goodness, it was also fantastic, I totally forgot to snap a picture but the chicken in it was especially tender and packed with so much flavor. We did notice our waitress seemed quite busy, as we didn't manage to get refills on our drinks, but honestly, with how hopping the place was, we completely understood. Overall, satisfied with location. It gets a little noisy at times but there are many places to sit there, if you have a choice you might be able to choose a quieter side of the place, or outside. Had another great time at Miller's Ale House. Reserved a table for 7 and it was a bit tight. Guessing if we had a few more they might have combined 2 tables into one but it was alright we managed. I'm usually a fan of Miller's burgers but yesterday it was dismal. Cold cheese on a barely cooked ground soggy beef patty. I should have one it back but nibbled around the edges. It was 12:30 PM and quite crowded. Wife soup and sandwich was OK. Service slow but acceptable. We are regulars and this was disappointing! Previous prime rib sandwich was just plain bad. Came here for lunch during dance nationals. Service was great....the place is great for everyone especially kids. We're obviously not from Chicago but man the water here is gross. So asked for an Arnold Palmer and that wasn't any better. My child got the calamari and it was okay. Husband enjoyed his Brunch Burger. I got the small order of the chicken nachos with guacamole and I don't know if it was the chicken or the queso but something in my dish was super salty and hard to eat. Ordered takeout of prime rib and chicken quesadillas on mother's day. Couldn't even cut into the prime rib - thought my steak knife was not sharp so I got another one with no luck. My prime rib (which was supposed to be medium but came well done) went straight in the garbage. My husband was starving so he ate half the quesadillas and then they took went in the garbage. Had a great experience at Miller's Ale House! I loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. We came here on a Friday night and it was really busy. I appreciated the beer menu. They offer some pretty good craft beers! The food menu is amazing. They have so many different options and everything sounded great! I ended up ordering the Zingers (Miller's Ale House chicken tenders). I ordered them in the sweet Thai chili sauce, which was delicious. They have a wide variety of different sauces - from mild to very hot. Those Zingers are worth the hype! My friend ordered the chicken quesadilla and that was also delicious! Overall, I think this is the perfect spot for dinner and drinks! Plenty of TVs for watching some sports as well! read more

Miller Ale House is the kind of restaurant that you hit up after work to take advantage of happy hour specials. You shouldn't expect much else. I got the happy hour $3.99 margarita. They tasted exactly like happy hour margaritas. Lol! That's to say they weren't the best margaritas ever, but for $4, I was nice and tipsy after my third one. The sampler platter was pretty tasty and paired well with our drinks. I just wish it came with onion rings instead of pretzels. My fish and chips entree was a tad soggy, but again, I didn't judge too harshly because it's Miller Ale House, not Gordon Ramsey. All and all, I'm not complaining. For food we ordered a classic burger and the grilled chicken blt sandwich. Both were really good and came with fries. I really like the bar food from here, I have yet to try something (food wise) I haven't liked. My 'problem' was feeling rushed. The staff is friendly and attentive but TOO attentive.. I was still eating and our server asked if she could take my plate or if I needed a box.. which is fine, but we were there for maybe 20 mins at that point. I felt very rushed. It was like question after question to get us out ASAP. Another person came up and this time didn't ask if I was done eating, he just took my plate and assumed I was done.. I was not finished.. I was taking a breathe and was trying to just chill, enjoy being out with my fiancé and watch basketball. My fiancé on the other hand didn't feel like we were being rushed to eat and leave so I guess it depends who you ask and what your preference of timing while having a meal when out and about is. This is a sports bar with LOTS of TVs. They don't have an online waitlist/place online to make a reservation but we were seated right away even with it being a busy Saturday night. 21 degrees today helping a 92 year old woman into this restaurant sliding on unshoveled handicapped parking spot was just my introduction to this place. After waiting at hostess stand for a significant amount of time someone dressed like a bus boy with a cap told us it would be 20 minute wait. When I asked why with so many open tables we were to wait he said there are only 2 servers. We asked if we could sit down to wait. He said he had to clean off a table. Many open clean tables available but he chose one in the back next to bathrooms. Enough. If he had been courteous and considerate we probably would have not left without eating. My husband and I met a friend at Miller's Ale House. This is a great place to watch the Chicago Bears games. There are tvs on every wall. We shared a plate of zingers (chicken tenders) with French fries. We had the zingers tossed in barbecue sauce. The food was good but overpriced. It totaled $16.00 for just chicken tenders and fries. I love the Prime rib special they run on Thursdays and Sundays. I would rate it a 9.5/10 and I only deduct a half point cause my au Jus wasn't properly sealed the last time and stained my couch.
