Came here after one of my good friends that passes by recommended it. Was denied a drink and wouldn't serve me until everyone in my group was already ID'ed, then they believed more people were in my group (We were already all ID'ed). At the end they denied us service. If the red headed bartender is working, walk out. She kicked someone out for vaping when they were not. My wife told her she didn't think they were vaping and she kicked us out for "interfering". We're a senior couple and no threat. Our food just came and she threw some boxes at us and told us to take it to go. I said I wasn't interested in doing that and she called her husband (the cook) and he just shrugged his shoulders. The she said "just get the f--- out, so we did. Much bigger on the inside than you'd expect. I had to check it out since I have the same last name as this bar, and I totally dig the vibe at this place but like others have stated, the bartender (who inherited the bar) should probably hire another bar tender to do the people relations because she's a little rough around the edges. Pretty chill dive bar. Really big patio out back, pretty legit stage setup for live music, and a big selection of beers and boozes. We passed by on Friday night last week and it was PACKED, so it seems like it gets pretty poppin' on the weekends! We went on a Sunday afternoon while it was slow and empty. This place is a complete dump and the owner/bartender is extremely rude. I went in there last week and she was very short and rude to me and a coworker when we stopped in after work. Well I figured I would give it one more chance and sure enough she was so completely rude and kinda snapped at a question I asked about food. I said I will take my check and leave. We stopped in by chance and loved this little spot. We have been EXTREMELY conscious of going out during covid and this was the third bar we have been to in over a year. They are vocal about covid safety, and everything is kept so clean. The bartender/co owner was such a sweetheart, and was keeping up with sanitizing everything right after it was touched. Great little bar! Pool table, friendly staff and awesome ambiance. Lotto machines are a lot of fun. Great bottled beer selection and 8 or 9 beers on tap. If you're in the area stop in and have a drink. Tell Kelly the bartender I said hi lol read more

Stopped in to get a burger and fries to go. This is a nice bar (dark but clean) with seating inside and out. They have a few lottery machines and looks like a live band on the weekends. Husband said the burger was good, but of course it would have been better if eaten there fresh and hot ---so we try that next time and have a beer to go with it. read more

Juke Box with a geat selection of music. Outdoor covered patio filled with locals who are friendly and welcoming. Bartenders that are fast and attentive and welcome everyone, including "outsiders", with friendly smiles. I stop here every time I am in town and I recommend you pay them a visit as well! read more

Not 100% sure how this is getting 5 start reviews. My wife and I were in a hotel close by and wanted to get some food. From the outside, the pub is looking pretty rough. We went in at about 8 pm and noticed the bar was empty except for one intoxicated man sitting at the bar. After waiting for about 10 minutes at the bar, the man sitting at the end informed us that he was the bartender and was on his break. We thought he was joking until he walked into the snookered lounge for another few minutes. My wife and I left with getting food or drinks. We decided to drive to downtown Newport for McDonald's which sadly had much better service. read more

Worst service I have ever had, we walked in with our masks on and sat down at a table and took them off like normal then we were asked to put them back on until we were served a drink so we put them back on with no issue and the bartender came up about 5min after saying that to check our id's then awkwardly walked away after checking them and started serving other people drinks. Pretty much your average Roadside Tavern. Lots of outdoor seating for the summer, live music inside and outside during the summer. Good selection of Liquors. But there seem to be a problem with smokers allowing their smoke to get inside the bar when they would smoke just outside the door. read more
