This popped up on my husband's IG and we just had to check it out! I am so glad we did too. This place is a hidden gem! When we went after work on a Friday, the place was not all that busy. There was a guy at the bar and a group sitting down enjoying beer and bites, then there was us. I did notice that throughout our stay that many people came to get pick up orders and eventually it picked up with families wanting to dine in. I ordered the veggie burger, my husband got a burger and so did my mother in law. We also shared onion rings for the table. I ended up getting a sour from Jack Rabbit. My husband and his mom got beer too! We were so happy with our server. She was really attentive and nice. We looked at the menu and noticed there was several items that we would love to try next time. I do recommend you check this spot out if you are in the Pocket-Greenhaven area!

Hop Junction in Greenhaven has become one of our favorite spots, especially after soccer practice when everyone is ready to relax and eat. My go-to order is the Gobbler with a side salad, and it always hits the spot. The place has that lively neighborhood energy where you can hear people catching up and enjoying themselves, which makes it feel welcoming right away. Wing Wednesday is also a big reason we come back -- but definitely call ahead because they run out early. Trust me on that one. Big shoutout to Athena as well. She makes fantastic drinks and her service is always on point. We were gone for a few months during the soccer break, and the moment we walked back in she remembered us, which honestly made the place feel a little like Cheers. Helpful tip: plan for Wing Wednesday early, and if Athena is working you're in great hands. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

This cozy neighborhood watering hole serves up authentic dishes that result in a serious level of comfort. I was invited to check Hop Junction out, which is now under new ownership, and I'm glad I did. The small bites happy hour menu offers several different food choices. We couldn't make up our minds and since all items sounded so yummy we tried the following: Sliders- made with deliciously seasoned hand-pressed mini burger patties with a thick slice of sharp cheddar melted on top & served ona homemade mini brioche bun. It was simply mouthwatering. Carne Asada quesadilla - is made with a delicious grille pressed flour tortilla and filled with thinly sliced asada seasoned beef, asadero queso, and drizzled with seasoned Crema on top. Hand-dipped, thick cut, beer battered, onion rings - well the name says it all. They're outstanding. All I can say is don't overthink this...Just get 'em. Wings - fried honey glazed and buffalo. They're super tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. we had two styles, buffalo and honey glazed (sweet and savory). The artisan sangria special was delightfully refreshing and it's served in a mini carafe with fresh seasonal fruit; strawberries, mandarins, & limes. I will definitely return to Hop Junction as both the food and the customer service here is outstanding!!

They've changed ownership and menu?? Came here to watch MNF! The drinks and food were on point! Athena was an amazing hostess/bartender. The margarita and lemon drop were yummy! We had the chicken wings and sliders. Both were good portions and very delicious! The restaurant is pretty casual, clean with a cool, relaxing vibe. Great to have an awesome and friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant in the hood!

In short: Hop Junction is quaint clean locals pub with great service and yummy food! I don't know when I saved Hop Junction on my Yelp account lol but it had been sometime! It popped up last week and reminded me. So I took the boyfriend because he loves beer and burgers and food looked bomb The place didn't disappoint! Food: we tried the short rib grilled cheese which was amazing. It had a super crispy buttery crust on the sourdough bread and delicious filling with tender meat, white cheddar and Gruyère cheese it came with au jus which was kinda sweet and oniony but didn't even need it. The only thing that might make it better would have been some garlic added to the butter on outside crust! We also shared the down south burger which was sooo good! Nice applewood smoked bacon, Swiss, bbq sauce and thick cut freshly made onion rings The only thing I would change were the fries weren't salty or crispy enough for me since they were a little thicker toward a steak fry. But you can also get a side salad so I'd try that next time. Drinks: my man got a beer called algorithmic divergence and really enjoyed it. I ordered a raspberry lemon drop and then second guess myself thinking it would be too sweet but it was great! Not sweet at all ( even the boyfriend liked it) it tasted like lemonade with chambord in it I love raspberry so was cool with that. The bartender also took our order and was nice and down to earth. The place itself had good vibes and seemed like a locals place to chill. We would go back

Fantastic bar food and even more amazing service!! Ask for Athena!! This is a great place with a warm vibe! Run and don't walk to this spot!! Wings are also crispy and awesome!! The sauce is AMAZING and it's HOMEMADE!!

Came in with friends for the first time on a weeknight around 4:30pm. Made it in time to order from the HH menu. This is in the same plaza as 24hr fitness. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service a bit slow but there was Only one waitress who took our orders and also made our drinks. They give you a lot of fries from the Happy hour so definitely shareable but the chicken tenders were extremely dry. My friends ordered the sliders from the HH and said it was good. I Ordered a beer flight. They were out a lot of beers about 10 but I was able to try the following 4 beers. Porter was my favorite. Food was ok. Maybe a good hang out for a quick casual drink & bite with a friend. Beer flight: Brother Telonius Biggest Little Blonde Nose Goblin Mac Nut Porter

Visited this place for a friend's birthday on a weekday. We shared the starters, veggie pakora and samosa, and we all enjoyed it. For the main dish, I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Tikka (also came with rice and salad), which tasted really good. Additionally, if you're into beer, this place has a large selection (I think this is one of the main reasons my friend wanted to come here). Lastly, there was one person waiting on tables; he did a great job serving our table. Overall: If you're looking for delicious Indian food, check this place out!

You have to purchase a beer card by leaving your debit/credit card on file and then use the beer card to make your purchases. When you're done, you turn the beer card in and they charge your card for what you drank. The selections of beer were many. This is a serve yourself room for the beer, many glasses available. There was also a hosted bar if you want to get mixed drinks. We sat there for a while and weren't brought a food menu until just before we were ready to leave. We didn't get to try any of the food. That was a bit disappointing. The room is quite small. I can imagine on a busy night, there is a wait due to the limited seating. The big screen tv's made watching sports fun. Overall, for the beer selection, my husband said he would come back again. I liked the design of the place. Boyfriend loved his old fashioned/ I tasted it and even though I don't usually drink straight whisky I could tell it was well made! It had a nice orange essence as you brought it in for a sip and had slight cherry notes but mostly tasted like whisky lol.. as it should. I got the plum beautiful cocktail - it was a plum cardamom infused cocktail garnished with a rosemary sprig, just kind of a spritzy botanical drink. It was not too sweet which I appreciated but i couldn't really taste any specific flavors so i was trying to muddle the rosemary I wished I had gotten the pina colada which they make with coconut cream pineapple We ordered the Cilantro Caesar salad, which was light and yummy with a great dressing and a nice salty cheese crumble on top with little croutons. We also shared the margarita pizza which was perfect! Great crust - like a bread stick texture- super fresh and I bet made in house. I was also able to grab some ketchup to enjoy those fries. My burger and fries was delivered and there were more fries than expected. I focused on those first because who like cold fries, right??? The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. A standard burger build but done perfectly! Beer was cold, food was great and the ambiance is a perfect local bar. Great spot to go if you don't mind hunting for a parking space.

With authentic flavors and food items, there's not many like it around town. Bodega serves up food from the Caribbean Islands. One of their most popular dishes is their jerk chicken. They have this both as a chicken wing appetizer and as a plated dinner. I personally really enjoy white meat when it comes to chicken and the dinner plate was leg and thigh so I opted to go with the wing appetizer. My only complaint about it was its size. I thought it could have had more wings as I thoroughly enjoyed each one with the jerk sauce I added to it. The wings were very crisp on the outside and full of flavor. Adding the jerk sauce or their house made hot sauces enhanced the flavor even more. I could really see myself coming just for these wings! I also had the Cubano sandwich. This hot, pressed sandwich has ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard. It's a popular item that also is bursting with flavor. The combination of all the ingredients was mouthwatering. It comes with a side of fries to round out the meal. Service at Bodega was very nice. We found the servers to be very patient with us and the food came out reasonably. I was specifically there for a birthday party where we had cake being served from outside the restaurant. Bodega has a cake cutting charge, but seeing our tiny cake they waived it for us!
