We came for a happy hour on a Sunday, which is from 4 to 6 PM. My restaurant was not busy. It was a bit too hot to sit outside, but we had a view of the beautiful outdoor Seat area from our indoor table. The wine is decent, the chicken wings were decent and the margarita pizza was a bargain. The beach salad wasn't on the happy hour menu and it was pickled beets with a lot of salad. I don't think I'd order that again. The ambience is nice and it's a great place to come with somebody. You can have a conversation at the table the noise levels not out of control. I get so many other places. The weight staff is attentive and very nice. I think I'll be coming back here at least once a month.. read more

A nice evening taking my 91 yr old dad to Riverside Clubhouse for his first time there! We had a great experience, the service was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious! My Dad had a Caesar salad salad and their homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccolini for dinner and a lemon cheesecake with a brûlée topping for dessert. I had a bowl of french fries as an appetizer and their delicious seared Ahi tuna salad, the portion so big-I had to bring a good portion of it home! (No complaints about that!), lol. For dessert I had their chocolate bar, which was a pretzel crust, homemade caramel drizzled over the crust and a chocolate ganache on top with more chocolate, caramel and whipped cream on top, it was so good, very rich! I had to take most of it home but so good! A glass of their house Cab for dad and Joel Gott Sauv Blanc for me. At the end, I asked my Dad the most important question, what did you think? I typically don't like leaving negative reviews, but experiences like this are frustrating, especially when you see businesses struggle and wonder why. Today my wife and I stopped by one of our regular neighborhood spots. As always, We were warmly greeted by the manager, who is consistently pleasant and welcoming. We sat down at the bar, he asked if we were going to eat, gave us a menu, and served water. Unfortunately, that's where the service stopped. The bartender/server behind the bar walked past us several times without ever acknowledging us or asking to take out drink or food order. Instead, she seemed far more focused on texting on her phone at the register than helping customers. We waited for quite a while, hoping she'd eventually check in, but after being completely ignored, it became clear that serving us was not a priority. When we decided to leave, I let the manager know about our experience. To his credit, he immediately offered to serve us himself, which I appreciated. But by that point, the poor service had already made up my mind. I genuinely hope my feedback was addressed, because the manager clearly cares, but service like that can easily drive loyal customers away. Came here yesterday for a nice lunch! My guest and I were immediately greeted and seated. Dan was our server and he was amazing! It was not crowded at all when we went so we had a great place to sit inside near the waterfall view. The food was so delicious! Hadn't been to the Riverside Clubhouse in a while, so was delighted with the immediate greeting and seating upon arrival. I was first in our party of four to arrive, and selected a patio table just off main dining space. Happy hour service was stellar, menus and waters were delivered immediately. Our primary server was great; very sweet and attentive. Noise level was moderately high, but feel it's to be expected at HH. The rest of our group filtered in w/in 10 minutes and our server was at our table taking beverage orders - wine for all please. We settled in on our food selections and just enjoyed our time together. HH Korean tacos and pulled pork sliders followed by a standard menu beet salad and a spinach strawberry salad rounded out our HH meal. Yum to most all. I personally have never been a big fan of pulled pork sliders, but the rest of the gals were very pleased with them. I just don't care for doughy buns. I thoroughly enjoyed the Korean tacos, seasoned with gochujang chili, and would def order them again. The fireplace was lit at some point, and made for a warm, relaxing and very welcoming vibe. Waiter, more wine please! No meal, let alone a birthday celebration meal, is complete unless it ends with a sweet bite, so we ordered up some vanilla bean ice cream, molten chocolate cake, and a pretzel crusted chocolate bar with white chocolate ganache/cream flowers to share. Korean tacos were seriously good. Some of the best fusion tacos I've had and I'd definitely order them again. Service was on point and the ambiance with the wall fountain was great. In our search for new and undiscovered brunch places, my friend and I found Riverside Clubhouse through YELP. After looking at their menu and pictures we came in with high hopes. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated. Our host was very gracious and our server arrived shortly after. After looking at the menu my friend and I both chose the Loco Moco and the pineapple fried rice when our meals arrived. They looked and smelled amazing. However, upon starting a meal, we discovered that the rice for both of our meals was undercooked. There were crispy pieces throughout. On top of that instead of a hamburger patty, they served meatloaf for their loco moco. The meatloaf was dry, and the gravy was really salty. We had higher hopes for my friends fried rice, but unfortunately, that was dashed also. The ham had a spicy sauce, which made it so that we couldn't eat it. The rice was undercooked and we pretty much just had to scrap that dish. We probably could have told them that we weren't happy with our meals. But there really wasn't anything else that we would have wanted. So we left disappointed. While the food was disappointing, the service was great. Our server was very attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. Our drinks were refilled without asking. The restaurant is very beautiful. Brought 1/2 order of wings home from the Club House. About 30 minutes ago I decide to have a few. I opened the box, and there sat calamari. So I called and the owner said How can I make this right? Would you like to come back and pick up the correct order? I said Oh no thank you I'm already in my pajamas. You can just refund my card. He hesitated. Then I said, or you can have someone deliver the correct order. I just live down the street. Just finished 3 wings and satisfied. P.S. The owner delivered them. Dined at Riverside for our work team lunch. Nice staff, cool, chill vibe, loved the warm atmosphere. The calamari app was good but the goat cheese app stole the show! Sorry no pic, the team devoured both orders of goat cheese quickly! For entree I ordered the Riverside burger medium with sweet potato fries. The burger was served well done (see pic). All sides cost extra! Offerings: - Korean Tacos: The best value on the menu at on $10. Great flavor, but may not be as filling as an actual entree. - French Dip: Decent size, served with the au jus. - Short Rib Bolognese: This is not named correctly. There is a lot of short rib and it is delicious, but this is nothing short of a fajita pasta. There is a lot of bell pepper and this is severely lacking the mirepoix that a bolognese is famous for. A good dish, just not what was advertised. - Chicken Salad: This was great! Very fulling and lots of variety when it came to the different ingredients. - Crème Brûlée: Looked great! My MIL ate it all up! Overall, there was nothing special here but it is a go to for last minute family birthdays and celebrations. We decided to go to the Clubhouse for lunch prior to going to a baseball game with some friends. We were seated right away and our waitress mentioned how busy it was about an hour before we got there. We ordered our drinks and food and even though there were only about five tables that had people it took quite a while to get our drinks. This restaurant's ambience is contemporary and always feels comfortable without reverberating noise levels. The service was excellent for our party of nine. We started with bruschetta but had to get two orders because it only came with 4 pieces - delicious but for its price I would hope for a little more in quantity (as someone who makes this dish - but admittedly not up to this level), and two orders of calamari which was delicious. I ordered the classic burger with sweet potato fries and it was so delicious I was almost seduced into eating my meal in its entirety but knew my old waistline couldn't afford this. The quality of beef was especially juicy and the fries were irresistible. My mother and I came in specifically for the signature prime French dip. Once we found a table, that we had to find on our own, we were told that it was not on the menu. We had to decide on something else, which wasn't a problem, since we have been there before. The service was great, but we both noticed how it looked, even with diffused lighting. If the lights were on, it's pretty disgusting. The drywall in several locations have holes, ripped or just not finished and exposed. The door, next to our table, looked ripped out and then replaced, but not patched. The drywall across from the kitchen on the way to the bathroom had a big whole at the baseboard. My first visit to this little neighborhood restaurant,we sat out on the patio (Winter time) I thought we were going to be cold,wrong plenty of heaters for everyone and the ambiance is very enjoyable ( large fire place,heaters,our server was Carla,she took our drink orders ( happy hour)and a few minutes later we had our drinks. Our family friend needed a fabulous place to celebrate her Master's degree. So Terry helped Valerie, the recent honoree, from start to finish on planning the beautiful celebration. The date, patio location, table decor, menu suggestions (delicious food options w appetizers on table as guest arrived) and Terry even made sure the perfect bartender Ari was on hand to make fancy cocktails for Valerie's guest. Even though Terry doesn't work on Saturdays she followed up with us to make sure the day was perfect for all guest. Hadn't tried Riverside Clubhouse for a long time but decided to try it for brunch. Waited at the "host" stand 5 minutes before young man came here shortly.....10 minutes later no waiter. I actually called the Clubhouse on my phone being there was no waiter in sight, the same host answered and I asked him where the waiter was. He said "I"ll send one right back there".....5 minutes later I left. Pitiful service. Just because there were alot of cars there doesn't mean it's popular and good. Went here on President's Day for dinner. Ordered a Riverside 'rita and short rib dinner entree with mashed potatoes and delicious gravy. That meal was delicious! Service was good and fast. My friend and I just sat at a high table in the bar area, so no wait. The drink was too orange flavored for me and reminded me more of a screwdriver than a margarita. I didn't get to see the whole space, but I believe there was a separate dining room and when you walk in there was a fireplace, comfy lounge area to the right- not sure if that's just a place to wait if they are busy or if you can grab drinks and sit there. There are also TVs in the bar area if you are looking to watch some sportsball. Would definitely go back...and interested in their happy hour as well - which seemed to end right when we arrived at 6pm. The service was super slow on a Sunday afternoon. I have not been here before, so I'm not sure if this is the norm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated within 5-10 minutes. Once we sat down, we noticed the waiters were busy getting food to other tables. Our server didn't come take our orders after we sat down for at least 10-15 minutes. It took forever for our drinks to arrive, which is just hot tea and ice tea. It probably took another 25-30 minutes for the food to arrive. It wasn't very busy or packed because it was almost 2:00 pm. We certainly didn't order anything that takes a long time to cook. I assumed they were really under staff. Good thing I was with good company and kept each other busy with the conversations. I order the Breakfast Sandwich with fried eggs, mustard aioli, cheese, and ham on grilled sourdough with country potatoes. The sandwich was very good and the sourdough bread was perfectly toasted. It was very filling and I had to take the other half sandwich home. I would come back for breakfast or lunch to try other items when I'm in the area. Parking is not fun, there's a small parking lot in the back but it was full and the rest of the street parking is for the neighborhood :/ Food was decent, the best part was the goat cheese appetizer. The pasta was good but nothing amazing. The burger was asked to be cooked medium rare and it was medium leaning toward medium well. Our server was nice and attentive. The ambiance is loud. We had mimosa with 3 choices of juice, passion orange, prickly pear and mango. I never had prickly pear before but I'm now sold. I need to get myself a glass of prickly pear for my next mimosa Cinnamon Roll Skillet- 5 stars for creativity, taste and deliver Huevos Rancheros- 4 stars because my carnitas was a bit dry. Everything else about the Huevos Rancheros was spot on Oh and of note; they have regular normal bacon and egg breakfasts if you are into your conventional breakfasts. The atmosphere, service, and deliverance= 5 stars. Our gal Kelly served us with impecable timing and recommendations. I think they have sports TV in the bar so keep that in mind if you go there for breakfast or brunch Don't forget to check out that COW on the Eave above the restaurant entrance.
