We discovered this hidden little gem and I must say this place is Awesome!! The staff are just Phenomenal and are always welcoming!! The food is great, we especially love going on Mondays when they have the beer and hotdog combo special. There's a good selection of beers and they also have ciders/seltzers available. The place is clean and there's lots of seating options inside or outside. We've been loyal customers ever since we discovered Fountainhead Brewery and we'll continue to be!!

Been here a few times but this is my first review. I really like this neighborhood brewery, very homey and laid-back. They have specials and tonight was a hot dog and beer for $10. They also have Happy Hour which runs from. 4-6 pm during the week. I had the Chicago Dog and Barrelhouse Stout. Also ordered the fried zucchini. Everything tasted great and would definitely recommend. My nephew had the German Dog and the Red Ale. He also ordered an order of the tater tots. He was equally impressed with all of the items he ordered and would also recommend. When you walk in the menus are on the wall over the bar and that is where you will place your order. Drinks will be given after you complete your order and if you order food you will be given a pager. When the food is ready you head outside to pick it up. There is ample seating inside and outside. Parking is limited but we were able to find a spot close. Definitely worth the try!

Great selection of beer and they always have one cider and seltzer on tap too which is awesome! There is a super cute dart board area to play games if you want, and there is a lot of seat. While there is technically inside and outside seating, really the whole place feels outside because the wall open up. The employees here are incredibly nice. A lot of family members work here and pitch in - it is very sweet. You can tell the owners really love their business. They also have amazing happy hour deals! The hot dogs are pretty good, not spectacular but definitely worth the price I would say. The tots are amazing. I haven't had the pizza yet, but they look phenomenal! I can't wait to try one!

Fountainhead has been on my list of Sacramento breweries to visit because of its high ratings. With that in mind, I visited the brewery last Sunday and was disappointed. The facility is located in an old, aging industrial building, that has only two off street parking spaces. Although clean looking, both the interior and the patio contain a hodgepodge of old wobbly furniture and equipment. There is a food truck/trailer in the back where the food service is provided. The food is an eclectic mixture of hotdogs, appetizers and sub sandwiches. So, if you are into hotdogs, what I tried was excellent and included shoestring fries that were also very good. However, I was there for the beer, and that is where it fell apart. They don't offer flights, so I tried tasting as many as I could. The IPA's were overly hopped to the point where you couldn't identify the hop or hops used. The dark beers were watery and the lighter beers were unremarkable. I realize that everybody has a different experience with beer, but for me if a brewery has 4 plus stars, it means they are making flavorful quality craft beer that is correct for the styles. That was not what I experienced here. I wish them success going forward.

Such a great place! You almost miss it when you drive by, but definitely recommend stopping and having a drink and a hot dog. The service here is amazing, the man that took our order was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. He even checked up on us after we finished our meal to see if we liked it. The hot dogs are a MUST. If you like a little bit of a spicy kick, absolutely get the Griller dog. They're also not stingy with the toppings, it was such a filling meal. And the onions rings are probably the best I've had in sac. Super crispy! I paired my meal with the lion paw pineapple drink and he topped it with blueberry kombucha, it was super refreshing. Overall the place is small (you might have to park on the street) but super chill to hang with some friends or family. Will be back!

Best Brewery in Sacramento Fountainhead Brewing is everything you want in a brewery with great drinks, good vibes, and a welcoming, dog-friendly atmosphere. Must-Try Drinks Mojito Wine Cocktail is refreshing, crisp, and dangerously easy to drink. Maui Waui is a tropical, perfectly balanced IPA that hits just right. Why You'll Love It The patio is perfect for Sacramento weather. It is dog-friendly, so bring your pup. The food is actually good, not just an afterthought. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always welcoming. Fountainhead is a spot you will keep coming back to. Whether you are here for craft beer, cocktails, or just a good time, it never disappoints. Five stars all the way.

I got recommended Fountainhead and I'm glad we checked it out. I had the pale ale, delicious! We got crispy fries and they were yum yum good. Dog friendly!! With treats! So sweet!!! Maybe 5 minutes from our house, will be back. Cheers!

Oak Park brewing has many options of beers to choose from but something I want to really highlight is none other than their children's menu cheeseburger. I am the owner of 1 extremely indecisive toddler who will say he wants 1 thing and breaks out in tantrum when that 1 thing he asked for comes. But fear not! Let him be indecisive and choose diaper bag emergency gold fish and I can enjoy the kids cheeseburger ( comparable to the OPB Burger, hold the veggies), Burgers here are cooked beautifully. Pair it with fries and a tasty beer and you'll be in a happy place. Enjoy their patio with plenty of space to spread out and ample seating or get some of that AC inside. Parking is on the street and when that area is busy, you have to loop the block. Overall Oak Park Brewing is a great spot featuring a great lineup of beers and bites for all.

Parking: Free street parking (2-hour limit) Kids and dogs friendly!!! They also brew their own beers locally!!! The owner is an Army veteran with 27 years of service, which is reflected in the identity and pride of the space. The brewery also won a 2025 California State Fair Gold Award in the commercial craft brew competition. The unisex restroom is even called the "Latrine," staying true to the military theme in a fun and intentional way. What to Order: * Presidio: West Coast IPA (6.7%) * Fog of War: Hazy IPA (6.7%) * Colonel Concord: Seltzer (5.2%) They also offer 4-pack and 6-pack mix-and-match to-go options, which is a great bonus if you want variety. MURAL: One standout feature is the mural, officially titled "At Ease Brewing Co. Mural." It was created by Glen Warren, creative director at Sacramento-based Commuter Industries. The artwork blends a mid-century modern and space theme, featuring stylized rockets and celestial elements. It complements the brewery's vintage military vibe while still feeling playful and inviting. What I really appreciate is that the business gave the artist full creative freedom rather than forcing a strict military theme. That generosity shows in the final result: it feels authentic and visually striking. As the artist shared, the goal was to create something bold, simple, and joyful: an "Instagram hotspot" that brings a moment of optimism, especially reflecting post-2020 sentiment. It wasn't the best or worst. When you walk up, if you can drink alcohol, you need to show your id and get a wristband. Seating is open but there are cards on the table for reservations. So look closely at it for the time slot so you know if the table is available. Eating is outside. So if you have allergies or weather isn't to your liking, this is NOT the place for you. They have a lot of shade space. However, the infrastructure that brings shade makes the place loud (think echo chamber). To order, there's a QR code on the table. I liked how this was easy. The only odd thing was that when you order, you're ordering from different kitchens, which I didn't know when I placed the order. So when we ordered burgers and pizza. They came out at different times. We ended up getting some BBQ because only the burgers came. When I followed up with someone they said our wait for the pizza could be anywhere from 30-60 mins (). That seemed long for a personal (small) pizza. By the time the pizza came out, we were done with everything else. Pizza was good though, BBQ too. The burgers were okay. It's pretty chaotic here. I would've picked another area to eat but wanted to check it out. I didn't even take photos because we were so hungry by the time the food came. I think this place is more for vibes than food. It's a good place for a group wanting drinks and eats or families needing space for kids to run around. It was just too crowded and loud for my liking.
