Visited it during there celebrating their 90th church anniversary with a guest preacher from my hometown of Atlanta. His message was powerful and moving that I saved his information in my email to visit when I am in town. As always there mass choir sounded heavenly and you could hear and feel there mighty presence. The church is lead by their longtime Revered Crosby who put in place community resources that include Simmons College. You can definitely feel the spirit in this building place and will visit again.

I must admit that their choirs are in fact really good - spiritually moving. They have 3 locations - 2 in Kentucky and 1 in Indiana: Louisville and Radcliff, KY; and Jeffersonville, IN. Their website is full of information and is recommended to view to learn a lot about them and their services. They are very involved in the community, with a multitude of ministries and church events and conferences. I believe there are more worship services at the Louisville location compared to the other two locations. The services are very organized and they often have guests and associate pastors delivering the Sunday sermon. Out of the many times we've visited the Louisville location we *may* have heard the lead pastor, Dr. Kevin Cosby, preach once. He has led this church for 40 years and it's obvious that his congregation thinks highly of him and all that he's done for their church and for their personal spiritual growth. I've found the ushers and church members to be very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of parking on all sides of the building, that looks like a former school building.

The Welcome House helps individuals and families in the Northern Kentucky area that are homeless or…read moreat risk of becoming homeless. They provide shelter, food and personal items for people in need on a daily basis. Last Christmas when my family wanted to help out with gifts for someone less fortunate, I contacted this agency and was given a list of a family's requests, which I then shopped for and delivered to Welcome House. Sometimes when I pass by this agency it seems there is often a line out front of individuals waiting for it to open. That makes me think they're doing good things to help out the less fortunate.

City Gospel Mission oversees the Whiz Kids program so I headed to their headquarters for mentor training. Everyone is so thorough with their instructions regarding the process. The small group of us were greeted at the door and taken to the meeting room where coffee was prepared and served for us. CGM mission statement says it all. This is a faith based organization that is dedicated to showing Jesus's love to all Cincinnatians. Overall, wonderful training and insight.
