Prior to getting it serviced, there was a clunking noise and the ride was very bumpy, especially over pot holes. Now when I drive it, the sound is gone, and it's the smoothest ride ever! Sals also identified a leaking rubber piece as well as an issue with my engine mount which they replaced; I otherwise would have never known. They got the entire job done in less than 2 business days so turnaround was terrific. The staff is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and I will certainly be back for future maintenance.

Today, I had a different experience. First off, the guy at the front (I won't say any names) is rude. It takes nothing to say hello back to someone who came in and said hello. Anyway, came in to do a battery replacement. Everything was done and as I was walking to the office, I see my car....left UNATTENDED WITH THE HOOD UP and my car still running for several minutes. He just left it there like that. I walked to the office (hood was still up). Stood there waiting to get my bill and keys (hood still up) Mind you...it's a rainy day. This kid was negligent with my property. I don't know if me being a woman alone made that acceptable but it's not. Big or small job, it's business and you treat everyone's property and them with respect. Then after seeing my car left on with the hood up, I make them aware of it and then I paid and left. As I was driving, my USB/anti theft system was not working. Screen blank. Not only was he negligent with my property....he didn't finish the job. You have to reboot the anti theft system for that and the USB/screen controls to work. I was more than willing to tip the guy since I know they don't make much on batteries but after that experience, no. You don't just put a battery in...you need to reboot the system. Today was EXTREMELY disappointing and needless to say, I will go elsewhere from now on. Maybe give JJ a bit more training.

Everything was fine but a few months later my Check Engine light came on. I got it checked in October 2024 while doing my inspection and they said it was due to the faulty O2 sensor and to bring it back to J&R since it should still be under warranty. J&R checked it and said it was fine, blamed it on another issue. January 2025, the check engine light is back on again. A second shop said it was the faulty O2 sensor and they switched it out. My car sounds better and the light is finally off. I go to J&R hoping they'd make it right. They said the part was indeed damaged but they can only guarantee a 6 month warranty. The 2 other shops both had a 1 year warranty. I thankfully have no issue with the CC but them not taking responsibility for the faulty part won't have me returning to this shop.
