I've been here 3 times, so I feel like I can properly say this nail shop is one of the worst in Las Vegas. The man who does nails Is ok. He is a little more advanced when it comes to shaping and designs however, the female counterpart is terrible. Today, my nails were done by the female nail tech. The shape of my nails went from almond to totally warped. From the beginning, when I sat in her chair, she had an excuse and a complaint for everything. There was an excuse as to why she couldn't keep my almond shape, excuse for why she couldn't properly fill my nail, and excuse and gripe about my nude acrylic powder which I had previously received a fill with 2 times prior, it was truly annoying. She argued with me about the color of the acrylic powder, tried to tell me the only reason why I got the same powder last time was because I received a full set which was false because last time I received a fill and 1 was broken. Her rationale on things never made sense. It was more like she couldn't do nails. If you can't do nails, just say that. If you can't do what I want just say that. The previous 2 times The man was my nail tech and never once did he have any excuses. I simply showed him a picture, he delivered, and was paid. There are only 3 employees here. Two do nails and one does nothing but Pedicures. The lady who does Pedicures is really nice, however the Pedicures for what your paying our subpar as well. Steps are always skipped, I have to tell her to scrub and remove calluses, massages are never given. Thankfully this is Las Vegas and there's plenty of nail salons to try. I was getting a fill she took off my nails and put a different kind of nail set on never had before. My nails came off in less than two weeks and they were smudges all over and missed polish on the sides of my nails. My pedicure had smudges all over too. This is a really nice mom and pop shop that does a great job at what they do. I opted for the deluxe pedicure and the regular manicure and both were amazing. Had the most amazing experience here! Coming from out of town and needed a last minute appointment, the guy in front was kind of enough to take me in even though he was already with another client. Not once did he rush or was in a hurry to finish up but really make you feel comfortable and provide quality work. Love how clean and gorgeous my nails came out and I'm very picky when it comes to cuticle trimming and polishing. Did I also mention pricing is extremely reasonable compared to other places. Not even higher end luxury salons in Vegas/Vegas hotels that charges double the price provide me a great 360 service. Although I was reading other reviews this was not the experience I had and the only regret I would have is not coming here and I'm glad I did. There's a reason why this place stays busy! First time we went here was great. We have been on the hunt for a great place to have pedicures for a couple of years now. We go at least once a month. Called today to see if they could fit us in at 1115 and was told yes. I mean us as in my Mom and I. Got there and they got us seated in chairs right away and our feet in water..this was great. However they started on me and I was almost completely done by the time they got around to my Mom. Almost an hour of her sitting there waiting. Girl who did my pedicure was O.K. we asked for the deluxe which usually means you get a leg and foot massage and that did not happen. I asked for a short, d, gel manicure. I did not have an appointment, but they took me in right away, because the 3 employees in the shop weren't doing anything. They sat me down, right away, asked what I wanted & told me to choose a color. They trimmed my nails, all different lengths & beginning filing. One hand was square & one was sort of round. I asked them to redo the square because I didn't ask for the & my hands didn't match. He did it, again. It was still not round. He pained my nails & said he would fix it after they dried. 2 of my nails have 1 coat on the side & 1 I had to tell to paint again because there wasn't any paint. After all was said & done he charged me $42! Plus another dollar to use a card. I was so annoyed I didn't argue. My nails do not match, I am annoyed that they didn't listen, & I will never return again. I have been here before & the service I received was disappointing to say the least. Scott and Cam took their time (No Half-ass Service) were very attentive, Friendly and Helpful.. more so when trying to Match the Gel color on your hand to match the Regular color on your feet ! Let me note that they do NOT do acrylic nail so for those who are looking for that specific service, this is not your place. They go for more of a Dip atmosphere if you are looking to go Natural Long Nail which i highly Recommend !! Let me start off by saying that I LOVED this place. I've been coming here for a while - even before they changed their name (see my previous review for their old place - Foxy Nails) but this time I wasn't as happy. Don't get me wrong, my pedicure was great. And the lady that did my nails did a good job (she should work on being a little more friendly tho). However, I'm kinda disappointed with this visit for 2 reasons: 1. The girl doing my nails spilled the acetone twice - both times apparently hitting my purse but nothing was said to me. Purse ruined. I mean, I love an excuse to shop just as much as the next person, but seriously? I just noticed it now that I'm home. 2. As stated before, I'm a pretty loyal customer. So much so that I've filled my "loyalty card" with them. I was pretty excited for today's visit because according to the card you get a free manicure once it's filled. Granted, I do a gel dip when I get my nails done so obviously that's not going to be free, but the price of a regular manicure could be discounted right? Ya'll, they took $5 off my bill. I've NEVER had a $5 manicure. I mean. If they're only $5 why am I wasting my money for gel?! I could get a regular manicure everyday at that cost. Kinda makes me question if I wanna be loyal to them going forward. I may give them another try. I would hate to write them off because of just one bad experience. I called on a Sunday to have my nails and wax done. They were getting ready to close and they took me in. They were rushing. Cut my fingers did a terrible job. She was on the phone while she was doing my wife's job. She spilled hot wax on my face. I want my lips to where I have a big blister and infection. I still paid for it because there was no manager there to talk to. They charge me an extra $20 for Covid. The next day I called and asked to speak to a manager left several messages. Came in on January 20th and got a regular French tip paid $50 plus a $5 tip just for the next day my nails too look old they started bubbling on the sides so after work I talked to a lady named Ken and she told me to come in the next day which is today and get a refund and they can take off my nails and I was totally fine with that. I don't want their product on me. The man who did my nails was rude unprofessional he kept yelling at me telling me it is illegal for him to give me back a refund and I am forced to go back to get another set. I educated myself on the Nevada laws and nowhere does it say it is illegal to get a refund especially when I am unhappy with the product the quality and the service. At this point I'm going to just call that $55 a big loss in my book and keep it pushing. I will never in my life come to this store. If I could give 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service they yell at you when they're "talking" to you they have such an attitude. And that's not even the worst part. They will cut your cuticles I've been here 2 times and it happened. First time I only did my hand nails and I was cut a few times.. not to include nails not being fully painted on edges.. second time I'm like ok let me try a pedicure maybe it was just a bad first try nope they cut my cuticles make me bleed again! and instead of getting my ingrown toenail out they make it get swollen and start bleeding. If you don't know how to take out an ingrown don't even try to take it out because you leave the customer in pain. I was so much in pain I couldn't even finish the pedicure. And then they try to blame it on me saying its because it's a medical issue, trying to tell me so much about "nobody has ingrown" no sir I've gotten pedicures many times w ingrown removal and I've NEVER in my life have been left in pain and full of blood like I did today. And to top it of I had to pay 53$ to pretty much get my color taken off, a massage and a pretty bad job of cleaning.. calluses wasn't even removed cuticles bled but no cuticle cleaning. Oh and I got no color because of how much I was bleeding! I just wanted to get out of there. Basic cleaning under the nail wasn't even done but they sure know how to cut you!!! Still have some pink left over polish on my toes that they probably were going to cover up with new polish instead of cleaning it all the way. I can go on and on about how horrible my experience was and the worst part for me was having to agree to disagree on the price I had to pay for their terrible job! I don't mind paying at all for my services if they are done right and they didn't acknowledge any of there horrible work and still make you pay and yell at you "if you don't like it don't come back". It's ridiculous. Please if you have to drive an extra mile or so to go somewhere else please do! I'd hate for anyone else to go through the disrespect I went through and the horrible work that is done there. I'm literally in so much pain from them just picking at my ingrown not knowing how to remove it but keep trying. Worst part is that I think I'm going to get an infection! as soon as i was done I notice them put there cleaning tools back! they use the same tools!!! Siting there I realized I did not see them open a new pack of tools! Im really hoping I don't get an infection from reused tools! Because if they cut my cuticles I'm sure they are cutting many peoples cuticles can u just imagine all the blood that's been on those tools?! Im sick just thinking about it.. worst thing you can do is give this place business. money isn't the issue, it was the terrible service they do here. Went to this place two months prior, and was impressed with the young woman, Helena. Today, I called and decided to bring our roommate, and was told that Helena quit and moved to CA with her boyfriend. I still decided to go, bc I THOUGHT all the technicians would be equally as good as Helena. It was an AWFUL experience!! I have curved toe nails on both feet and the young woman "T" did one foot nice, (while filing the top of my toes)...but the second foot, she did a horrible job!! When I asked about it, she acted as if she did all she could and as if my other nails, (on my other foot, were perfect..lol).... the gentleman (either manager or owner), Told me, (LOUDLY), that they ONLY PROVIDE CUT and POLISH pedicures and that they do NOT FILE curved toe nails....(yet they have the electric filer on the pedicure cart)...and the young woman I had for two months prior, used it, each time. It figures, tried to bring this place another client, (our roommate) and was treated AWFUL! I almost walked out, BUT I did NOT want unpolished nails. The young lady technician I had this time left my right foot, (the nails), looking all yellow and discolored... while the left foot was the way they usually look.... like I paid $25 for. I went ahead and did NOT want any massage or scrubbing done, for fear of her trying to hurt me, and also, I just wanted to pay them ($25 plus $5 tip....for two pedicures) AND NEVER RETURN!! So sad...this place hardly has any business as it is, AND I was trying to bring them more, even though the young woman that I had, quit... I would NOT recommend this place!! They still have the sign Foxy Nails on the outside and Facebook still says Foxy Nails.
