For context, I am a girl who regularly gets my nails done. I usually get a gel set with designs, and I am still on the hunt for a perfect nail salon to suit my needs. However, while I wait for that salon to come into my life, Horizon is a good place to go to in the meantime. I've come here a few times within the past few months. The salon itself (while narrow) is consistently clean, bright, and always packed with customers. There are several nail technicians available, and making an appointment is very easy especially with the online feature (although I have called if it's day-of). Everyone is genuinely friendly, too - from the desk staff to the technicians. The prices are also clearly listed which I appreciate. My one critique of Horizon Nails is the lack of consistency with the capabilities of the nail technicians - let me explain. As mentioned, I am a person who enjoys nail art - every time I go to a salon, I want a different design. Some are simple, and some are more complex. I have not yet found a nail technician that I am truly satisfied with at Horizon Nails. Don't get my wrong - the quality of work has been great, and I love that they get me out in 90 minutes or less. However, when U book an appointment of 'gel fill with design,' I have gotten a different person every time. I think they're mantra is 'Any of our nail techs can do a design!' but you know that is just not true. I haven't run into any real issues with this yet, but I am the type of person who likes to go to my same tech with consistent results. I haven't found that at Horizon Nails yet, but I will not give up on them, and if something changes, I will be happy to come back and update this. Horizon Nails is also a little on the expensive side (their eyebrow was is like 20 bucks which is nuts - and a lip wax is 15, so 35 dollars for an eyebrow / lip wax!), but they do offer a rewards program which is a great incentive (even if it takes a lot of money to earn a reward. Also, are they serious about the trip to Florida? lol). The desk staff have also randomly given me coupons from time to time which is so nice of them and a great guarantee to make me come back for more services. I've also gotten spa pedicures from here and THAT is where Horizon really shines - honestly, probably the best pedicure that I've gotten in a really long time! And there is PARKING to boot, which is spectacular! Overall, this is a solid spot to go for manicure and pedicure services. Came for pedicure and manicure with regular polish. Pedicure was not bad and lady was nice. But manicure ... started that master took a dirty full of nail dust ( someone else DNA's!) tools and started cut my nail. I took my hand off and ask her to change to a new unopened set of tools ( this shouldn't be a request! It's MANDATORY!) Nail polish she applied inaccurate and tried to seal with 3 layer top. I was given such a judgmental attitude and criticized for choosing a very bad nail polish that's why it was not good manicure result ( of course , why she should admit that she did a low quality manicure!). Another five star experience today at Horizon. I did a gel mani/pedi with the Lavender spa experience. My friend did the Green Tea. Both of us were able to fully relax and my nails look great, as usual! An extremely clean and comfortable nail spa! I only ever want to come here for nails. The staff are so nice and welcoming and they really cater to the clientele. I have come with friends many times because they ensure you are seated next to each other and they really curate a spa experience that meets the needs of both people, even if they are getting different spa packages or paying for other services. I usually make an appointment but have also been welcome here walking in. This spa is always busy and once you visit, you will know why. The whole staff provides such a hospitable experience--even the owner will start your nails if they are super busy. They have a rewards system as well and you can cash in points for spa experiences or fully paid plane tickets to Florida. I have to say, I have never seen another nail spa with this kind of reward system, but you are spending the money on nails anyway, why not get points toward a full set or a trip to Florida? You can feel the quality in the products they use and while you might pay a premium price at Horizon, they never get it wrong. read more

Very happy with my experience at Horizon! I recently broke up with my former salon and was on the hunt for a REALLY GOOD place for pedicures (I'm super particular). They have a lot of chairs here so the service was quick even though it was crowded. They have a lot of chairs, and staff so there is no waiting. I def give their gel nails skill a 5, mine always last for more than 2 weeks and they do a lovely job. The staff is also very nice. But the cleanliness is another thing, I have seen the nail instruments fall to the ground and they just pick them up and use them without getting new instruments. I also see them share nail files with different customers and do not clean them in between. I'm in the healthcare and see how this is a big problem. Let me preface by saying I'm not a local by any means. I was just on vacation and a friend and I decided to get our nails done. We went in blind and came out feeling welcomed and as if we were locals. They treated us with the utmost respect and the nails look fantastic. I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Young and she did an amazing job. She asked multiple times to confirm what I wanted was what I wanted and did her absolute best to make me feel welcomed in an environment I wasn't familiar with without even knowing that I wasn't familar with it. She took the time to make sure my nails were perfect and to my liking. Overall excellent customer service from Young and everyone else who works there. My first time here and I had a wonderful nail Tech, Angie. I came in around 5 on a Saturday evening and it fairly packed but some nail techs were available. The space itself is fairly large and goes back pretty deep, they have ample seating for mani/pedi work and is very clean. My nail tech was so meticulous about cleaning my nails and especially my cuticle area, she really took care of my nails. They also do a loyalty card, every 6th visit is 20% off :) i love my nails although i think i choose a color too dark for my skin tone ‍ anyway I think I found a new place! They do specials for $30 mani/pedi as well. Like most places they do a massage after you get your nails done. Which if you have tense shoulders like me during the holiday season it's amazing . *REVIEW UPDATE* I can't rave enough about this place. This has become like my second home. All the ladies there remember my name and make it a priority for my nails to be done perfectly. I now get the UV Gel and go in for fill-in's only ONCE a month! That's how long they last. Every manicure has been consistently near perfect and I have never complained once. My favorite technician is Justine, but honestly I'd trust any one of them with my nails. They take the time to look at all the inspo pics I bring in and do their best to match it for me. And then from there, they strike up conversation immediately. I'm fortunate enough that I speak Korean too, so our conversations can easily go between Korean and English. For anyone who says that it's unprofessional for them to be speaking Korean, please know that Korean is their first language. It's unfair to ask that they speak English all the time. And they don't talk about customers - they're usually asking one another if they ate lunch, what they're doing later, how their families are doing, etc. Please don't get the wrong idea. It's not like we would travel to another country and the natives would tell us to speak their language. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but I think they're worth the cost. They do such a nice job, do it thoroughly, and make an effort to get to know you. If you need them to be done in a shorter amount of time, all you have to do is ask. My technicians always finished even before my drop dead timeline. Otherwise, a UV Gel fill in can last a little over 1 hr. read more
