Despite my efforts to communicate and arrive within a reasonable timeframe, the receptionist was very unhelpful and very rude. I was late for 10 min only, upon my arrival at 4:55 pm, I was told that I couldn't be accommodated because another customer had been scheduled for 5 pm. She was lying, I was there at 4:55 as I mentioned and no one had arrived after me, and it seemed very unfair that my appointment time was given to someone else. The lack of communication and customer service left me feeling very upset and very much disappointed. I believe it's important for businesses to handle these situations with professionalism and empathy. I hope that the European Wax Center can address these issues to ensure a better experience for their customers in the future. I believe that individuals like her, who are very rude, dont know how to talk to customers can tarnish the company's reputation. Starting today, I will be informing all my family and friends about this situation, and we have collectively decided to discontinue using their services. The reason I am leaving not a favorable review is for a couple of reasons: I made appt. with Carlos. I showed up 5 minutes before my appointment, the lights were on in the spa, but no one was there. I called the number of the spa and the owner said let me call Carlos. She said, he was delayed and wouldn't be able to make the appt. I knew this couldn't be true because Carlos is very responsible. Then, the owner said, she had a family emergency which is understandable, but there was no sign on the window saying she had to leave due to a family emergency. Then, she she changed her excuse a third time. I have been going to spas for 30 years and I never had no one showed up. I understand if there was a true emergency, life happens, but this was not the case. She did leave a message to apologize and said she would give me a substantial discount on my next massage. When I called her back, she said she would give me 15% off which I did not think was fair. She said, she would think about offering me a larger discount, but never called me back. I have been a loyal customer and always tipped generously. This is not good business and hence I will never go back there again. Also, be very careful with the woman owner because she tried to charge me for a 1 1/2 hour massage and I only had a 1 hour massage which Carlos had to confirm with her. One more thing, my husband bought me a gift certificate and I lost the gift certificate. I asked if her I could still use it, she said no because she has no record of the gift certificates that were purchased.

I used to get bikini waxed all the time when I was younger, and it's a little intimidating to walk in to a place for a bikini wax after not doing it for so long. But Aisha was so cool and it was like jumping right back on the horse! Interestingly enough, Aisha told me the service I received was more akin to a regular bikini wax as opposed to a 'full bikini,' which is something that no previous waxers had told me. A full bikini is a little more expensive then a regular bikini wax, and I thought it was very honest of Aisha to share this information with me instead of just seeing the incorrect service and keeping that information to herself. As a bonus, EWC took my wax pass even after 10 years I was so pleasantly surprised that they honored a package I bought over a decade ago! That alone will make me rebook with the company. I know I'm the only positive review on this page so far, and honestly confused as to why that is.
