Staff was friendly and food was delicious. I got the chicken and shrimp fries, it was good and well seasoned. My friend had the wings and since she wasn't sharing I guess they were delicious ‍. My sorority sisters and I went on Thursday for Karaoke night. The KJ was funny. We had a lot of fun! Drinks were priced competitively. And the food was GREAT! I had the Rock lobster & shrimp combo! I've visited the SFR on several occasions and always have had a great time. The atmosphere is very nice. Maybe on ONE occasion, it was over crowded but I think that was for a few birthday parties on the same night. The drinks are great and my music is always good 9 times out of 10. Security has never been an issue. The crowd is usually a more mature 30+ crowd which I love because sometimes too many young people can change the atmosphere. The area where it's located seems quiet and was clean as well. It is a smaller space, but not tiny. There's the bar area, tables for eating, and also a sitting area w/ lounge chairs. -A definite plus is that there is a rather large menu (as far as small bars go) to order from. I decided on the fried shrimp ($10) and my boyfriend got the taco trio (jerk steak and chicken$6). The food was great, def no complaints. -Our server/bartender was super friendly and heavy handed=)She suggested two drinks and shots for us and we weren't disappointed. My twin brothers had their 90's party here last weekend and it was a lot of fun. The space is a decent space for a private party, not TOO small but just enough. One of the things I love about this place is they serve food! you don't find to many small bars that serve food (at least I don't because i live in the burbs). This is also my Sorority Sister and her husbands bar, and I love how they treat everyone that comes in regularly like "Family" and new people they welcome with open arms.
