Great escape! We really enjoyed our ride! Perfect location, even going by the ranch of our esteemed late Senator McCain! Our guide was ideal! Dean was the best!
I had THE best time with this company! They were so friendly & kind. The overall ride was 2 hours long & the views were unreal. Two hours may seem like a long time but it wasn't; it was the perfect amount of time! They take pictures for you so bring your phone if you can! They have pouches on the saddles for placement. I really enjoyed the fact they work with experienced & non-experienced riders so they are very user friendly! I will return here again!
We had an amazing time on this trail ride, from a horse owner myself, I absolutely loved the experience from start to finish, the horses are very well cared for and trained, there western tack and saddles are very well maintained. In our group there was 10 ladies riding, some of them, this was there first time riding and some had very little riding experience, the two guides Steve and Dean were fantastic, they prioritized safety, but also made it very enjoyable, both very friendly and attentive. They matched the right horse to the riders experience level. I would highly recommended this company for trail riding, from the beautiful dessert scenery to the rugged hill terrain, it was an amazing adventure! I will definitely be coming back.
We had a private sunset tour for our family of four. Chaz was a great guide and helped with our special needs child. Was a great ride through beautiful country. 10/10

Chaz took us up the mountain for a sunset ride. We loved it because we are horse owners and did not have to do a head to tail. For those that ride or own horses - we'd highly recommend this outfit. Great location, nice horses and great wranglers!

I actually arrived a day early just to scout the location and get a feel for what to expect, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked into the office and met Skyler, I was welcomed with a positive, professional, and genuinely warm, family-like atmosphere. We shared some laughs and jokes right away, and it was clear she truly enjoys what she does. She sets the tone perfectly for the entire experience, and it immediately made us feel like we were in great hands. That first impression carried right into what turned out to be a truly special experience for me and my twin children. Having grown up around horses, it meant a lot for me to be able to share something so meaningful with my 11-year-old twins. I was hoping to give them a memory they would carry with them for a lifetime, and thanks to this incredible team, that's exactly what happened. Delaney and Chaz, our guides, were absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, they made my kids feel comfortable, confident, and included. They treated them with respect, like young adults, taking the time to ask questions, get to know them, and guide them through the experience with patience and care. Introducing kids to such large animals can be intimidating, but their calm, positive demeanor created an environment where my children could truly relax, connect, and be present in the moment. With my kids being active in Scouts, this experience really resonated with them. By the end of the ride, you could see a genuine sense of accomplishment and pride, it was something they earned, and something they'll never forget. Watching them go from a little unsure at the start to fully immersed and absolutely loving every second was incredible. That transformation speaks volumes about the level of care and attention Delaney and Chaz bring to what they do. We also want to give a special thank you to the horses; Tommy, Carter, and Bart, who were gentle, patient, and absolutely perfect for the kids. We truly can't say enough about what a positive, memorable experience this was for our family. This wasn't just a trail ride, it was something much more meaningful. My daughters in-law treated me to a trail ride as part of my birthday trip to Sedona. We had the privilege of riding Blue, Indy and Carl, guided by Matt. We had the BEST time, and Matt was so much fun, informative and kind. We loved our horses, too!! All the horses seem so well cared for. Matt made sure all of us had a safe ride (horses included) from start to finish. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Sedona! PS....Matt, we hope your mom is ok.

We had a blast on October 8th. Our tour guides Matt and Houston were great and shoutout to Marnee who helped us find our way there and waiting for us to arrive! We all had wonderful horses and my little girl felt completely comfortable on her horse. First off this place is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly. Our guide named Matt was fantastic, cracking jokes and telling us history. The horses were amazing, friendly and well trained. We came for my wife's birthday and couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I had the pleasure of going on a Premier ride with Gina C. My experience was beyond my expectations! The Horsin' Around staff were all helpful and friendly, the horses looked well fed, cared for and the staff were gentle with them. Gina was an impressive wrangler who gave insight into the area, the plants around and also was great to talk to on the trip. She was attentive to my needs and continually checking on my comfort as well as the horse. I could not have been happier with my experience and look forward to returning!

We were off to a bit of a chaotic start but we got moving along. There were smaller children- 7 year old triplets- that led the group so we had to take it slow. I think we were a mixed group of about 18 guests. All of our tour guides were professional, knowledgeable, fun, and lighthearted people. They made absolutely sure we were all safe and having a great time. If you don't want to wait on other people and prefer a smaller group, get the private tour. There wasn't much shade but we were dressed for the heat and had plenty of water and our guides made sure we stayed hydrated. Each horse has a saddle bag for water and small personal items. Jalynn (I think that was her name) did an excellent job rounding up the group and taking charge. She knew what she was doing and how to handle her horse. Chaz and Marina were also our guides and they did a great job of us staying in line. Friendly and personable. I rode Cody and my husband rode Blue. They provided water and Gatorade. There is only one outhouse. They have Clorox wipes, toilet paper and a hand washing station with soap. (And paper towels. ) The lady at our bed and breakfast recommended this place. I hadn't seen it online and they had same day availability. We were on the 2pm tour so if you don't want to be so hot, go in the morning. Lots of dust so be prepared. read more

Horsin Around Adventures is such a vibe. I took a solo trip to Sedona and horse back riding was at the top of the list, and it surpassed my expectations. Gina was absolutely amazing. My husband and I went out to Sedona back in October, and we had an amazing trail ride at Horsin Around Adventures! I've owned horses and been around them for most of my life, but my husband is a beginner. Our guide, David, matched each of us with a horse appropriate for our respective skill levels. My horse (Ryder) followed the softest of cues and was sure-footed and game for anything. My husband's horse, Indy, was patient, quiet, and navigated the trails happily. We selected the Premier Ride for our visit, and it was well worth it! I love that it was just the three of us, enjoying a quiet ride and casually chatting as we traversed the rocky hillsides. David knew a lot about the local flora and fauna, and it was awesome to learn more about the plants we were seeing. David was also kind enough to take some lovely sunset photos of me and my husband on horseback. It meant so much to me, as I'm usually the one taking pictures of things (and therefore never in the pictures). My only regret is not getting around to posting a review sooner! My three teenage daughters and I were so fortunate to take a beautiful trail ride today with Chaz and Matt! None of us had ridden before and they took such care to make sure we had fun, felt safe, and connected with our horses. While there are many places to choose from, I would pick them over all others and plan to go back next time we are in Arizonia! read more

Took a four hour ride to the top of the mountain overlooking tons of landscape all the way to Sedona. Our cowboy guide, Pete, was awesome! Our horses Indy and Carl were fun to ride and the trip was overall a blast! Thank you! read more

Wonderful experience! My daughter and I did the 4pm ride with Matt and Dean and we can't say enough great things about them. The horses (Sarge & Jessica) were well behaved and easy to ride. Matt pointed out a lot of interesting things along the trail ride. The whole crew was exceptionally friendly and we especially appreciated the kindness they showed to the horses.
