Bryan and his guys blessed us with our remodel being better than we could even imagine! Prior to hearing about Hostetler Construction, we tried getting our project going over a year ago, but just getting quotes from other contractors was such a hassle. I was really discouraged, but thank goodness we had a friend recommend Hostetler Construction. Right from the beginning we were incredibly impressed with Bryan's communication and his very detailed assessment of our project - which left us scared his estimate would be more than we could afford. We were wrong. His estimate was right there with the others, maybe even a bit lower - but the professionalism and communication blew the prior contractors out of the water. The whole process was fantastic. They kept on track with the timeline he provided up front, with only a few adjustments here or there. The fact we had a contractor give us a week-by-week timeline, up front, and then managed to almost hit the project completion milestones during this era where supplies are hard to come by, REALLLLLY impressed us. All of Bryan's guys were wonderful to work with. The first two guys, Chris & Manny, came to start the demo process. They were on time and very friendly. They would work 10 hour days and they did not waste time! I was always amazed at the amount of work that they would get done in a single day. Noah is incredibly skilled with all things electrical. I never realized how many decisions there were with dimmers, switches, placement of lights...and Noah was always patient and smiling when he would ask what my preferences were. Parker is amazing with all things plumbing. I had wall mounted faucets installed (which I'm sure is a pain or at least seems like a pain and very confusing to my limited understanding of plumbing) but Parker never gave a hint of frustration and graciously installed the faucets valves and had the plumbing lines perfectly in place. Moses "the tile guy" did an absolutely BEAUTIFUL job with our shower (look at our pictures!). Paco is very talented when it comes to drywall, moulding and baseboards. We've lived in our home for 45 years. We did a minor remodel (cabinets from Home Depot, darker granite counter tops) years ago. Our kitchen is in the middle of our house with no windows and was very dark. We had very little counter space and it made meal prep difficult especially if you had more than 1 person working. We hired Brian Hostetler and his company to come in and do some magic. They had great suggestions on how to make our kitchen better. We now have more cupboard and counter space than we could have imagined and we did not knock down any walls. The kitchen is even larger than before. We came home one night to find water dripping through the ceiling from our upstairs bathroom because our shower was leaking. We knew our upstairs bathroom had been needing a remodel so we took it as a sign and decided to contact a contractor rather than a plumber. We wrote Bryan Hostetler through his website the next day and were surprised to receive a call from him that afternoon. We ended up hiring him to do the full remodel, and we could not be happier that we did. The level of service was phenomenal and far exceeded our earlier experiences with other contractors. Bryan was hands-on and available by call or text throughout the entire process. Every time he brought in new workers for each step of the project he introduced them to us and went over exactly what they were to do and the time frame expected. All of the workers were polite and incredibly diligent about performing their jobs... there was hardly any downtime and as a result our job was finished ahead of schedule. Every day the workers made certain to clean up their work areas and dispose of any trash. Bryan was also considerate of our budget and offered options to help us save money elsewhere when the tile we fell in love with turned out to be more pricey than we expected. In the process of demo-ing the bathroom his guys discovered we had another leak... a small roof leak that had left water damage inside the bathroom wall and so had gone unnoticed. He recommended that we consider getting it fixed but never pressured us to do so. When we decided to have it fixed he offered to put us in touch with an affordable roofer and took care of all the details. All in all, this was the most painless and thorough work we have ever had done on our house, and we would rehire Bryan and his guys without question. Bryan spent countless hours drawing up our kitchen and giving me accurate computer renderings prior to signing the contract. Just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Bryan and his men for re-piping our home! They arrived on time, placed drop cloths down, worked hard & fast, and cleaned up afterwards. They did a GREAT job and truly went the extra mile in service by not only doing an excellent job on our re-pipe but by fixing a slow, slow, slow shower drain and installing a new one-piece (so heavy) toilet we had purchased. Also when the repiping was done, our reverse osmosis wasn't working correctly and even though it ended up not being related to the repipe, they fixed the system. We paid Bryan before the job was completely finished, but his man arrived on time the next day to do the finishing touches. Our kitchen was demolished back in January 2018 by another contractor who we fired. A second contractor wasn't any better. After two false starts dealing with contractors from the San Fernando valley, we found Bryan Hostetler. Right from the beginning we saw a big difference. Bryan wrote a detailed contract that was clear with no gray areas. They began work and the progress was amazing. Very organized with the schedule of work,buying of materials,scheduling inspections,etc..Very little down time,if any. In one month time we went from open ceilings and walls(how the first contractor left us for 9 months) to a beautiful,functional,open concept kitchen with lots of cabinet space and built-in microwave that looks like custom quality. Bryan provided us with 27" deep pantries when the other contractors, lowes,and Home Depot only offered 24"deep. So much more space and allowed us to keep our large non-counter depth refrigerator. Another nice detail , Bryan had the countertop fabricator make a window sill out of leftover quartz to match the countertop. Not a big deal to most people and not something I had thought to do,but can't imagine how different it would look without it. Bryan and his crew did almost all the work themselves,with very little done by subs. The few subs he used were also great guys that did quality work(flooring,Drywall).
