Dealt with a couple new hires at the beginning of this transaction who were nice enough, but not quite fully informed yet. MLT didn't have the vape I wanted last night, so I grabbed the next best one. Got out to my car to double check if the coils I wanted to get would work with it and they would not. I called to see if they had an even better vape I could exchange real quick, they didn't . I called today and after initially being told no refund or exchanges, I called the Bellevue store and was taken care of immediately with stellar customer service from the manager at Bellevue and then I believe the manager of Northgate, named Saj(sp?) They are very reasonable. I wouldn't expect them to refund or exchanges something I just didn't like. If you have a reasonable request, ask them. read more

This place saved my butt after breaking my bong's bowl while cleaning. *insert face palm here* In the process of trying to find a replacement, I discovered that slide bowls are not as common as I'd thought. After calling a ton of shops and being met with a lot of "ummm, you want what"s, I gave Hot Box a ring and was immediately met with an understanding of what I needed and an assurance they had them in store. Caleb was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to have a couple different options to choose from and quickly selected one I liked. Do be more aware than me, I was so focused on finding something that fit that I forgot to scrutinize the bowl opening and when I got home, I realized it's much larger than my old one, so I may still try to find another. I noticed their extensive selection of dab accessories and decided to pick up a few other things. We chatted functionality and how different components impact performance, the man clearly knows his stuff. Their pricing is a little all over the place, the bowl ended up being a lot less than I'd expected but the carb cap I picked up seemed a bit high. But for the convenience of lots of options and not having to hope something arrives intact from an online shop, Hot Box definitely wins. read more

I love this shop and I love their pipes, their glass, and their attitude/knowledge. Remember glass is like any other commodity in the world.... "you get what you pay for." So, why blame the shop owner, if you can only afford/buy low-end paraphernalia. Dude, this is still America where you can go to another shop you like and buy their shit. Shop owners are right to tell you only buy "Borosilicate" glass for the quality of what it is and what it produces. If you buy a higher quality often the artist will stand behind the piece if it cracks and, with a little bit of sugar, may even repair it for you. Regardless, Hotbox has an amazing selection and rather than a bad review over the parking lot issues or rants that have no real substance..... support them & buy there or go elsewhere........ Was in the market for a new vaporizer after my iolite took it's dying breath last night (farewell, sweet prince!) and happened upon Hot Box. Not only did they have the exact models I had researched online (including an updated version of my little guy!) but the sales rep, Asher, was SUPER knowledgeable, willing to answer my barrage of questions, and humoring my indecision. What can I say? The place is open late, and the staff has always been quick, helpful, and friendly for all of my needs. The only downside to this place is that the little strip mall it sits in can get a bit skeevy with all the transients and homeless people that seem to loiter around the little strip mall (either near the 7/11 or the donut shop at the end). read more

Went into Hotbox today looking for a dry herb vaporizer. We have never had one before and were amazed at the different varieties the shop carried. Not only were they stocked but Asher was absolutely phenomenal with a plethora of knowledge on vaporizing and how each product they carried differed from each other. He explained at length to us about the products and was very patient with us and our questions. It was actually incredible to find out so much information and we are extremely happy with our entire experience. We ended up getting the launch box as our initial start into vaporizing dry herb. Been a loyal everyday customer since they moved into Northgate but will never step in that store again after being carded for presenting my debit card don't even care about a new policy. I walked down there in a heat wave at 57 yrs of age only to be denied service for not having I'd to go with my debit card. I'm visiting from Southern California. All the other smoke shops I went to carried only a portion of what they carried and I did not feel welcome at all. I purchased a almost $500 dab rig from these guys and I specifically asked about the return policy before i made my buy girl that helped me out to bring it back the next day if there's any problems and it Would be returnEd however this was absolutely not true at all because the rig I purchased wouldn't even heat up for me and so I brough it back and the same girl was working and this Is where it got extremely irritating and I was told that her manager wasnt there and that she didnt have the power to make those decisions so I was told to come back the next day to speak with a manager so day two rolls around and I go and I was told the manager went home early and then they had asked for my cell phone number and he would call me so that day I never received a call so I called in and finially got through to dra manager to get a response of we got don't have a return policy unless the product was defective and I said it was definitely was defective and then he responded back saying well you used it for something it wasn't intended for and I was So shocked to hear that because not one person had even looked at it or even took it out of the box so how can you say that all in all thumbs down this place has terrible service and no return policy don't believe anything they say read more
