I don't tan. I used to be tan, but I'm never tan anymore. I'm mortified of melanoma. Long gone are the glory days of my frequent beach frolicking with friends and laying out by the pool in high school. Nowadays, if I go for so much as a stroll I'll slather myself unabashedly in high level SPF sunscreen. Thusly, I'm always a fairly fluorescent pale porcelain shade of white. Initially I was apprehensive about stripping down to my skivvies while a perfect stranger spray-coated my every nook and cranny, but Emily made it a completely pressure-free environment. She was comfortably conversational without being overly interrogatory and she was quick about her work. I never really expected to enjoy the experience as much as I did, or to be so tremendously satisfied with the results. My abdomen actually looked ever so delicately contoured, but it definitely didn't have that painted-on, phony drugstore self-bronzer look I was afraid of. I gotta say, I like my legs and calf muscles as they are, but I was seriously enamored by my lower body and the golden, honied glisten of my thighs right on down to my toes. It's not something I indulge in frequently, because it's a hobby that can break the bank if you get carried away, but I was so psyched at how reasonable the SFBB prices were that I booked a session with Jessica on the spot. This is right up Real Housewives of Orange County's gated greenbelt. I can definitely envision this place doing super chic summer spa parties for monied mommies and their gaggles of girlfriends, or pre-pageant and prom prep for their tween daughters, but it's also certainly a great choice for a petit personal reward. The delightful amenities like privacy and convenience paired with the quality of service for the price made the experience ultra luxurious, yet completely unpretentious.
