    Horrible customer service!
    Robert P.

For the first time we received bad service, the employee just does not care. There was only one employee working. Her name was Jaylin. She took our order, we said we wanted it to go. We asked for two waters and she took forever to give us waters. My wife asked first then I did and she did not respond at all. The water was with no lids and the corn dogs were small and sad looking. The ketchup dispenser was out so we asked for ketchup. Jaylin said they were all out and non was in the back. After asking for her managers name she said she will check the back. She came back with packets of ketchup and tossed them on the counter. The corn dogs looked smaller than normal. As much as we enjoy Hot Dog on a Stick, we will not be going back until changes are made.

Bought a beef and cheese dog. Overcooked and thin hard batter! There was literally no cheese left because it leaked out due to too thin of the batter. It seemed like the new guy needs to be retrained. Maybe the oil needs to be changed? There were black spots all over the corndog because it was overly cooked.

Shout out to Jason! Great customer service. Thank you Jason for going above and beyond.

My kids burnt turkey dogs - I had to peel off the batter

Pictured: My kids burnt turkey dogs - I had to peel off the batter The service was trash. The older looking man (with a low cut) and the guy that's a redhead guy we're just joking around , not giving good customer service at all. So much so they burnt the dogs and SALTED the fries we asked for to be unsalted. They don't hear what's being asked of them. Wanted to go back , but I was ready to go. I wouldn't even want a remake or a refund. The lemonade was the best part.

"Will Be Back We are Prepping"

This was ridiculous! Also, another review said it happened yesterday too in the middle of the day around 2pm!! For me, It was 6pm and there was a sign saying "Will be back. We are prepping." and there's 4 guys that look like they're in high school just standing around while 1 of them is opening bags of hot dogs and putting sticks in them... like wtf? You don't do that! You get the hot dog ready when someone orders one! Then an hour later, we saw lady ask them and then saw her walking away from them towards us. We asked if they were still closed and she said yeah, and my mom's like it's been over an hour! The lady was like, "are you freaking kidding me? wtf?" Also, the guys who told my mom, who asked how much longer it's gonna take, was extremely rude and had an attitude. I took photos of the sign a little later (like 20 mins later) before I left the mall and there was no one to be seen! It looked like they all left and I couldn't hear anyone in the back at all! I'm 28 yrs old and I feel like i'm 70 complaining about how these kids are lazy as hell and goof off. And on top of that, they're rude! Didn't their parents teach them manners? Like if I did that at any job I had, I would be fired!

    A mall staple!

Peas and carrots, apples and bananas, Hot Dog on a Stick and a food court...these are all pairings that go hand in hand. And if your local mall food court doesn't have a Hot Dog on a Stick, shame on them!! ;) What's not to love about HDOS?? Their menu is simple, it appeases to both kids & adults alike and you get to eat carnival food without the presence of crazy carnies, well at least at this location. Whether you are feelin' an all beef, a turkey, a veggie or a cheese dog, Hot Dog on a Stick has you covered. Don't forget to get a side of yummy fries and select one of their 3 flavors of fresh-stomped lemonade available in original, cherry and lime. (Lite lemonade also available). Remember earlier when I said it's like being at the carnival? Well guess what?? They have funnel cake sticks for dessert...you're welcome =) Fun Fact: Hot Dog on a Stick has been doing their thing since 1946 and they began in beautiful Santa Monica, CA This location is clean, staff were nice and the food came out hot. If you find yourself at the Oaks and want a yummy snack, this is your jam.

Asked for a lemonade, the girl told me she had ran out and was making some okay fair... I asked about how long and said she wasn't sure, I said I would be back after doing my shopping I then see her put up a sign saying we'll be right back and go to the restroom it's been 40 minutes... waste of time just be straight up and say it's going to be over an hour next time ...

SO SAD - Dog Haus decided to change their menu as a whole company nationwide and I don't know if it…read morereally satisfies us the way it used to. Dog Haus is known as an American craft-casual restaurant that's famous for their gourmet hot dogs and sausages all served on Hawaiian bread rolls. However, the new menu eliminated a good amount of their reputation! They sell smash burgers and grilled chicken, but it's called Dog Haus. The menu no longer has items like the spicy Italian, smoked apple sooo veggie sausage, chicken-mozzarella, and curried Thai Fighter wurst. Now, they highlight their normal hot dog and pork sausage - that's it. They used to sell their gourmet and different flavor combination sausages and bratwurst, but now they don't. It's turned into a restaurant like Sonic (but without the fun desserts and drinks) and Shake Shack (but at least Shake Shack has shakes.) They lost their uniqueness. Other than the company decision, which was probably the wurst business move, they also did not communicate clear enough to their employees because everyone at this location seemed to be over it. The guy at the cash register was incredibly annoyed that we didn't automatically understand that onion rings obviously aren't on the menu like before and onion strings are the new thing and what the differences are. We're sad because we really liked this restaurant and location, but it's not worth the food that's now pretty basic at most other American restaurants. Having smash burgers as a hot-dog place vs. selling hit smash burgers at somewhere like Fat Sal's where they're known for that is a bit different. Additionally, the customer service was NOT it. I asked for a water cup and was very disappointed to see that even after running the water for a few seconds, the water was still pink and not clear. When we got our food, our onion rings now onion strings were one of the saddest "shareables" side on their menu. They were limp, oily, hard to eat, and definitely not the move. We ordered entrees and weren't too impressed now that the dogs were normal, as well. Ambiance wise - they have seating inside, some seating outside, and inside have a tv where things like the FIFA World Cup play on a big screen.

The food was all correct and tasty. I really loved the fries. Many soda options. I will say it was very pricey. Almost $40 for 2 chili cheese hotdogs 2 drinks and 1 fries.

I REALLY like this Stand location!…read more I've been to a few of these and this one is by far my favorite. Inside it's just nicer, quieter and less crazy and has lots of tables that feel nice to eat off of. The outdoor portion also feels equally nice to dine at and doesn't feel like just a few chairs added outside for the sake of it. This time we got the miso salmon bowl which was really good and filling (very easy to split) and a side of sweet potato fries. I loved feeling like I didn't have to get a burger to feel satisfied here. Everything was delicious and staff accommodated every request! Pretty much everyone we talked to were nice and kind so it seems like great staff too! Really happy with this one, will definitely be back!

Assurances were made that the team will have a review of sanitation, cross contamination, food prep and proper use & disposal of gloves. I was also issued a refund back to my credit card and extended a personal invitation to return as their guest. As I mentioned, I do use The Stand App and have been an enthusiastic repeat customer for years. It's in the Promenade, so it can get a little crowded since it's in a busy shopping center. Free parking is available, though, which is nice. A lot of families and kids are typically here, especially since they're open pretty late (10/11pm) compared to the other places nearby in the area. With this in mind, a lot of the workers are mainly high school students or recent graduates. It's nice coming here on late night for a milkshake, whether it's classic or a trendy limited edition one; all are great. Their burgers are smash burgers without being in your face about it, and taste better than they look. For how they look though, I don't know why Shake Shack food always looks like it's been through a mild depression, although they're good tasting for looking a little sad. Their fries are pretty unique when it comes to fast food claiming their shapes, like Chick-fil-a with the waffle fries or In-n-Out's style, and are more like a crinkle cut. Shake Shack also sells hot dogs! I feel like this is something they don't promote and haven't promoted as much in recent years, but are slowly leaning more into it. (Please do!) The only thing that was a bit annoying was selling hot dogs, but then not being able to order much on it, like ketchup, mustard, and relish. They had a ketchup dispenser, but then only mustard plastic packets, and NO relish what-so-ever. However, I feel like with a bit of cleaning up, they could definitely boom more in that category of their menu. It's just a bit inconsistent at the current moment.
