I have been to this location for your sleep. I absolutely love in n out as it's the only burger place I eat that. I was greeted by Josh and he took my order, had outstanding customer service skills. Thank you so much for the great experience.

Something about the simplicity of the double double that is always a winner. Burger cooked to utter perfection, fries the exact amount of crispness, and the spread......loved it so much went there twice!

Well I have to say sometimes they really mess up my order but this time it was perfect. But the fries were cold straight from the window

They have great milk shakes that I think are best eaten with French fries. All the staff are friendly and so helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The red and white vibe reminds me of the 40s and I like that they include a Bible verse on their cups![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The burgers here are amazing and the service is happy and smiling !! Typically, wifey and I go through the drive-thru with the puppy and get him a half of a flying dutchman ( 1 hamburger patty with one slice of cheese ) ! The menu is simple and the food is of great quality !! Luckily, the line was not too bad this evening. Usually it wraps around the building and onto the shoulder on Newbury Road. The restaurant, is clean with a wafting aroma of caramelized onions !! You can even order the burgers with no salt, if you like !! Great food at a great location, with great prices !! Cheers !!

I ordered the huge double cheeseburger, a half-pound burger with good beef flavor. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and they did not ask about doneness. Still satisfying, but it could have been noticeably better with a little less time on the grill. The onion rings were solid. Crispy, with a pleasant sweet onion flavor. Not off the charts amazing, but they check the boxes. My pop had the tuna melt, and it must have been good because he finished every last bite. The restaurant is clean but clearly shows its age, although the seating appears to have been reupholstered fairly recently. Staff were professional and efficient. Counter ordering, a table number placed at the seat, and the food came out in just the right amount of time. Total cost was just under $40 for two people. Not cheap, but in line with what you expect these days for a sit down lunch with burgers, sides, and drinks. There aren't many independent places like this anymore. I'm rounding up a star due to its legendary status and long term consistency. It had been many years but the experience was exactly the same.

One thing that makes Lazy Dog stand out is its full dog menu: it's the only restaurant in town that offers such a thoughtful dining experience for our furry companions. The kids' menu is also a great value, with an entrée, a side, and a soft drink included. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were greeted with ice water right away, our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived fast. It was a warm day, and our water glasses were refilled frequently without us even having to ask. The shaded patio was peaceful, with plenty of fellow dog parents and their fur babies enjoying lunch together. Despite being busy, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing--not a single loud disturbance. I can imagine it's even more enjoyable in the evening when the weather cools down. Overall, this is a wonderful restaurant that truly caters to everyone, including four-legged family members. I highly recommend it to dog lovers looking for a relaxing meal with family and friends!

CONS: -1/2 star for lack of silverware and waitstaff attention (I'm clearly impatient if I'd rather drink my beer with my meal not after) -0 star = -1/2 star + 1/2 star for the kung Pao chicken that tasted as good as my frozen fish sticks. The vegetables that accompanied my wasted carbs were great so the net impact of my meal on my review is zero.

Walking up feels like stepping into a 90s time capsule in the best way possible. Classic diner vibes, no frills, just hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches and sides. The owners are incredibly kind and efficient, as everything is cooked fresh to order. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating so I grabbed a table outside to soak up that sunshine. Here's what I ordered: Chili Cheese Dog: (upgraded to the Hebrew National) 10/10. Having tried both of their hotdogs, definitely get the Hebrew National over the regular one. It's bigger and more flavorful in my opinion. This thing was loaded. Flavorful chili, melty cheese, and fresh diced onions, all tucked into a perfectly grilled hot dog roll. This is definitely the dog to get if you're torn between all of the options. Street Dog: A bacon wrapped dog with ketchup, mayo and mustard and veggies (I customized mine a bit so opted out of the onion and jalapeño). If you're a fan of bacon wrapped hot dogs, this is always a solid choice too. Pro tip: These hot dogs are HUGE. I was not prepared. One would've easily done the job so next time I'm just grabbing one and adding a side of onion rings because they looked incredible. Overall a very satisfying lunch for under $20 for two dogs and a soda. Great to have a long standing hotdog restaurant in the 805.

It sits between a fir & knife dog and a grab it and eat it dog. The fries were simple but good, and my Crush Orange fountain drink was just as expected. They also handled a to-go order for my dad seamlessly while we were eating. It was neatly packed and ready to go without any delay. I've also ordered from Lucky Dog through DoorDash in the past, and that experience was great as well (photo from this). Overall, Lucky Dog is a reliable and enjoyable spot for a classic hot dog meal.

SO SAD - Dog Haus decided to change their menu as a whole company nationwide and I don't know if it…read morereally satisfies us the way it used to. Dog Haus is known as an American craft-casual restaurant that's famous for their gourmet hot dogs and sausages all served on Hawaiian bread rolls. However, the new menu eliminated a good amount of their reputation! They sell smash burgers and grilled chicken, but it's called Dog Haus. The menu no longer has items like the spicy Italian, smoked apple sooo veggie sausage, chicken-mozzarella, and curried Thai Fighter wurst. Now, they highlight their normal hot dog and pork sausage - that's it. They used to sell their gourmet and different flavor combination sausages and bratwurst, but now they don't. It's turned into a restaurant like Sonic (but without the fun desserts and drinks) and Shake Shack (but at least Shake Shack has shakes.) They lost their uniqueness. Other than the company decision, which was probably the wurst business move, they also did not communicate clear enough to their employees because everyone at this location seemed to be over it. The guy at the cash register was incredibly annoyed that we didn't automatically understand that onion rings obviously aren't on the menu like before and onion strings are the new thing and what the differences are. We're sad because we really liked this restaurant and location, but it's not worth the food that's now pretty basic at most other American restaurants. Having smash burgers as a hot-dog place vs. selling hit smash burgers at somewhere like Fat Sal's where they're known for that is a bit different. Additionally, the customer service was NOT it. I asked for a water cup and was very disappointed to see that even after running the water for a few seconds, the water was still pink and not clear. When we got our food, our onion rings now onion strings were one of the saddest "shareables" side on their menu. They were limp, oily, hard to eat, and definitely not the move. We ordered entrees and weren't too impressed now that the dogs were normal, as well. Ambiance wise - they have seating inside, some seating outside, and inside have a tv where things like the FIFA World Cup play on a big screen.

It's in the Promenade, so it can get a little crowded since it's in a busy shopping center. Free parking is available, though, which is nice. A lot of families and kids are typically here, especially since they're open pretty late (10/11pm) compared to the other places nearby in the area. With this in mind, a lot of the workers are mainly high school students or recent graduates. It's nice coming here on late night for a milkshake, whether it's classic or a trendy limited edition one; all are great. Their burgers are smash burgers without being in your face about it, and taste better than they look. For how they look though, I don't know why Shake Shack food always looks like it's been through a mild depression, although they're good tasting for looking a little sad. Their fries are pretty unique when it comes to fast food claiming their shapes, like Chick-fil-a with the waffle fries or In-n-Out's style, and are more like a crinkle cut. Shake Shack also sells hot dogs! I feel like this is something they don't promote and haven't promoted as much in recent years, but are slowly leaning more into it. (Please do!) The only thing that was a bit annoying was selling hot dogs, but then not being able to order much on it, like ketchup, mustard, and relish. They had a ketchup dispenser, but then only mustard plastic packets, and NO relish what-so-ever. However, I feel like with a bit of cleaning up, they could definitely boom more in that category of their menu. It's just a bit inconsistent at the current moment.
