Really delicious donuts. Not the biggest fan of donuts but these are quite good! Several options to chose from.

There isn't anything quite as good as the brioche donuts from Hot Fat in Boise. Can't get enough of them!

Luckily I was there that day and was able to snag a chocolate bar. I remember it being so good! I thought today was a good day for a sweet treat so I made my way in! My husband's request was an apple fritter if they had any. I came in later in the afternoon and surprisingly there were still quite a few donuts available. I was happy that there was quite a selection still. They all looked so good! Even the classic glazed looked tasty. After looking over the goodies, I decided on a half dozen of mixed donuts. The sweet lady behind the counter was so patient with me as I was looking and second guessing my choices. With the mixed variety you get 3 classic, 2 specialty and 1 extra fancy donut. I snagged a round glazed, a chocolate and maple bar, 2 apple fritters and a fancy donut with cream and strawberries on top. I was planning on giving 3 of the goodies to my in laws. I asked the sweet lady for an extra box and with no hesitation she grabbed it got me. I was able to get my goodies sorted. I dropped off the maple bar, an apple fritter and the cream and strawberry donut to my in laws. My father in law loves apple fritters and didn't hesitate to grab it from the box and claim it right away. 0 He enjoyed half of it and is saving the other half for later. Nothing but great things were said about his treat. I forgot to mention earlier that the sweet lady gave me two donut holes in my box. I snacked on those and mannnnn were they good! They were so soft and sweet. I just wanted a little something so it was perfect! My husband devoured his apple fritter. I didn't even get a bite! I'm happy he enjoyed it! I was recently at Krispy Kreme and honestly the donut I got tasted stale. Like it had been sitting out for more than a day. I only had 2 small donut holes and they blew Krispy Kreme out of the water, it was night and day. I'm happy I got to stop in today and grab some goodies. The donuts were amazing! The service was great! And I got to support a local business in my area! I look forward to coming back and grabbing more treats for my family/friends sometime soon.

On the morning we stopped in there weren't a lot of choices and judging by the size of the cases on the counter that's typical. We tried buttermilk, cream puff, strawberry frosted heart shaped donuts and a glazed croissant. My daughter rated the cream puff donut a solid 5 star! I give major props to that little glazed croissant- it was delicious but I also appreciate that it wasn't huge. I felt satisfied but not sickly full afterward. I tried the buttermilk later in the day and it wasn't okay, the frosted donut for a similar review from my daughter- like, solid food donuts but nothing we couldn't find at the local grocery store bakery. Worth the stop if you're in the immediate area, not a destination spot though.

I have tried many different donut shops around Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell etc and this is by far the BEST! Donuts are the perfect amount of sweet, fluffy, soft and big. When I found out they have Kolaches, after trying them I can say I would buy at least a dozen or more at a time. Pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds and taste as fresh as when you bought them. The bread is soft and hot dog comes in two flavor, spicy and non spicy. Both are equally delicious. They have many drink options. Right when you walk in they are ready to assist, very friendly and welcoming vibes. They are very patient while you look and decide between their many variety of flavors. They are quick, get you in and out. Small quiet little shop with limited seats but it's also nice to grab and go. I would definitely recommend!

Decor is great, kids loved how vibrant the place was. Ice cream asks donuts looked delightfully delectable. However, a bit of a let down on the donuts. I ended up ordering a basic donut ice cream sandwich for about $6. Which is basically a regular donut split in half with ice cream in the middle and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. However, for a dollar more you can get a deluxe with deluxe toppings like sprinkles, marshmallows and the like. Also ended up ordering a BIG Donut (Salted caramel Biscoff) for $4 and ended up eating part of it. Donuts are not made in house (I don't think. Or least didn't taste like it). The ice cream was MID, as the kids would say, great on a hot summer day (98 deg outside) but nothing spectacular. Service was decent, quick, but definitely can tell the person was bored. All in all, it was a decent experience. If you're in the area check it out.

So on this extremely hot July day, we made our way in for a cold 1sweet treat. This venue has always been so adorable! I love the set up here. The cute wall decor, the bright colors and all the seating. It's a very sweet venue. It was super busy today! We all had the same idea, a cold goodie on a hot day. There were 3 girls working behind the counter and they were hustling. It took a minute for us to get to the register but it was all good! We checked out all the cute donuts they had on display and of course the menu. My husband got himself a simple smashed donut with cookies and cream ice cream. I got a 4 pack of mini donuts and we shared a strawberry mangolade. Yoooooooooo, my husband's donut sandwich was legit so good! The donut was warm, it was coated in cinnamon and sugar. The ice cream was creamy with a good amount of cookies in it. It's a good size treat and as much as we ate, we couldn't finish it. I did eat 1 of the 4 of my mini donuts. I believe the one I ate was maybe a dulce de leches one? It was coated in cinnamon and sugar with a dollop of dulce de leche in the middle. I'm looking forward to eating my other 3 later. That little bite was a piece of heaven, it was so good! The strawberry mangolade was tasty! You can't go wrong with a strawberry mango lemonade. I do wish the drink was a little bigger. It's basically 4 bucks for a couple sips. It was good but just too small. My husband and I really enjoyed our time here today. We even took a couple shots at the claw machine. It would be nice if that vendor doesn't shove the toys in the machine, it might allow people to win some goodies. I'm determined to get that Hello Kitty in that machine! If you're looking for a fun treat with your date, friends or family, this joint should be your spot to hit up. You'll have a good time.

I have bought a handful of donuts, bagels and donuts from this joint and don't recall them being that size. Asked the gal who helped me if it was normal for them to be so small. She replied with "it depends on the day". So, basically some days you're getting your money's worth and some days you're getting screwed. Pretty sad. Desperate of how small they were, my husband enjoyed the two fritters I got him. I had to get two since they were so tiny. Other local joints are selling fritters the size of their two, even bigger. Granted it's double in cost but I'm more than happy to pay that much for a good size fritter. I know I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck. With so many local bakeries and food trucks that are selling donuts, the last thing you want to do is shrink your products on your locals who have been supporting your local business.

And it's one of the donut shops that's so popular, they only make a limited daily batch. When that's sold out, they won't make more. So you have to get there early. This isn't a place that will rival the best donuts in the U.S., but it's certainly an enjoyable and worthy morning stop. The interior is a little too modest and not updated at all. I thought it was really nice of the owner to give us a free treat! The donut was really soft and airy! It was on the dryer side but it was still a decent donut. I ordered the peach and mango clear tea today. It was pretty in color. You can taste the peach and mango in my drink. It's not as sweet as I'm used to but it was still good. There's a light amount of jellies on the bottom. I'm personally used to a bit more jellies in my drink but as a collective it was still tasty. I'm happy I ran into this cute venue. The display cases had a great variety so I know sticking to my plan was going to be challenging. Grabbing a couple things and go sure was hard! They had some specialty donuts on display and man did they look killer! I didn't know what they were specifically but they looked delicious! All of them nicely decorated and garnished. But, with much restraint, I got a big apple fritter for my husband and some donut holes for the grandmas. My mom didn't let me grandma have any donut holes so I had to take one for the team and enjoy them for her. They were so good! They were soft and tasty. Every donut hole was nicely glazed. Headed to gym event, but needed doughnuts haha! Did they have them? Nnnnnnope! Made me very sad. This place sells their cookies in WinCo and I think Whole Foods. Their cookies are RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! I could easily eat a bag of 8 in probably half a day lol. Then I'd get all depressed because my bikini wouldn't fit right :( So when I asked about the doughnuts she said they haven't been making them and I think she said it was because of staffing issues. Thanks to the virus and people now refusing to work because the government is giving them too much in unemployment, this is the case with way too many restaurants, bakeries, etc. That's my subtle jab at the current government and what they're doing to the country lol! So I left without doughnuts BUUUUT I did buy a bag of cookies. The same bag I could have bought at WinCo or Whole Foods. She said basically everything they did that morning was make the cookies for the stores and she watched them leave to take them to the stores. Exciting! I felt all guilty as soon as I bit into one of the cookies but OMFG THEY ARE SO GOOD! Have y'all ever been to a crumbl? If you have one where you live GOOOOO! This places cookies are basically they lower calorie version of Crumbl because some Crumbl cookies have 850 calories in ONE cookie hahahaha! Is it worth it tho? Absolutely lol So are these cookies, but if you are trying to watch your calorie intake then maybe stay away because you can tear through a bag of these with ease. Chocolate crinkle and snickerdoodles are my go-to's! Ooooooh! Ok, y'all, WTF is with the twist ties you used to tie up the bags of cookies? STOP using those! They are literally THE WORST! I'm sure they're cost effective but stop! I'm also sure with selling to those two major grocery stores plus selling them in your bakery that you can absolutely afford to use better ties, ones that we can actually open and reuse vs these where you can't just open them, you have to cut the top of the bag and then basically...the bag is useless after that. I know this sounds petty, but ugh they're they worst! Aside from that, this place is super nice. It's in a very weird location tho, I was surprised by that. It's like the only sit down place on this street. Across from them is a warehouse of some sort, half a block up are homes, it's just seems like it would be better on the north end, or NW Boise, basically anywhere other than where it is lol. The staff is super sweet, the ones that were there lol. I'll definitely be going back. Glad my first experience there was a decent one even if they didn't have doughnuts for my heffa ass hahahaha! Thanks for reading, Yelpiiteees! Cheers!
