I checked my Tripadvisor App, my Yelp and my Google and chose Applebee's in Hermitage. I had just driven in from a long day on the road and was super hungry. I pulled up in the driveway and found parking quite easily and quickly. I wasn't in the mood to hang out at the bar, so I got a table, fairly quickly a=for Sunday dinner service. I noticed right away that the calories were listed on the menu items, so that's a plus for me. My server was friendly and made some recommendations, and I settled on a local craft beer, tortilla soup and the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, which was a no brainer at 610 calories. The tortilla was just above average, but edible, with some hot sauce. The beer was a great match for the chicken and shrimp. On my plate the potatoes were roasted, nit too salty, and had just enough crispness to them. The chicken was soft juicy tender, and not too salty and served on a bed of sauteed onions, on a sizzling plate ( nice touch), My shrimp was cooked evenly and the portion was just right, not too much, and not too little. The only thing I would watch out for with this selection is the scoop of garlic and chive butter that's plopped on top of the shrimp. Conclusion: A Good healthy meal that hit my macros, I didn't wait too long even though it was busy, and the service was great. One thing I'll always say about Applebee's is that they are consistent.
