I ordered my meal ahead of time through DoorDash, and it turned out to be an easy and quick pickup with the food being hot and fresh when I arrived. The wings are by far the best Korean fried chicken I've had, with every piece packed with juicy meat. This is exactly what you expect when ordering this dish, and the honey sesame sauce did not disappoint one bit. The wings were perfectly coated, and there was still a pool of sauce for dipping at the bottom of the container. Next time I will definitely turn up the heat and try one of their spicier sauce options to experience that flavor profile. The nicely fried mandoo pork dumplings were full of a delicious filling mixture that paired perfectly with the soy vinegar dipping sauce. The dumplings had a crispy exterior that gave way to a flavorful, well-seasoned interior. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that I didn't discover Dolsot House sooner.

It remained packed our entire time there. BYOB so my girlfriend and I brought two beers with us and they provided glasses. We ordered three main dishes and two appetizers and all of the food was amazing. Soups, dumplings, bibimbap, bulgogi... all flavorful and delicious. Despite the crowded dining room, everything came out quickly. The servers were all incredibly kind, efficient and professional. This was my first time back here in over a decade but based on our experience, I hope to come more regularly in the future.

Arrived to a quiet, low key establishment, a bit eerie as we were the only ones there and light were still off, but were welcomed, none the less. Once everything lit up, the food was slowly being brought out and the choices for lunch were limited. No hot items at the sides and the sauces available were interesting, interestingly enough to concoct something on my own. Drink fridge was well stocked, but the dessert freezer was lacking in selection, Haagen Dazs was only available. Play area was the only buff/flex for us, as our busy toddler needed to roam free. I should have opted for a closer seating to the play area so we could take turns watching and eating/cooking :) but it worked out, like I mentioned, it was low key and we were rushed. Regarding food, they were helpful and provided service for items that were not readily available on the hot sides area, salt and pepper shrimp... YES PLEASE! Other than that, similar to KBBQ style, but not the same sauces, so be wary of that, I didn't mind, but wanted to share that. Veggies are always a win where there's pumpkin/squash and eggplant ^_^

Don't let the no-frills atmosphere fool you -- you come here for the food, and the food delivers. The pork hangover soup (haejangguk) is absolutely magnificent -- rich, deeply savory, and exactly what your soul needs. The fried pork (tangsuyuk) is crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. And the tofu stew? Perfect heat, silky tofu, and a broth that tastes like it's been perfected over decades. This is authentic home-style Korean cooking at its finest. It sounded like the kitchen intended to close an hour earlier, which would be fine but the restaurant should adjust their hours since several customers after us were confused and had to be turned away. We were even unsure about whether our own food was going to come. Ambiance would also feel a little more comfortable if they had some music playing - it was very quiet and almost felt awkward at times. Regardless, our food did come and hit the spot. The accompanying banchan was nice (and pretty spicy!) and portion sizes were generous. It felt like a nice, homey meal overall. The hiccup in the kitchen was probably a one-off, but hoping they can manage their hours better in the future.

Sun Woo Cafe is clearly a family owned business with a lot of love in it. Even though I was only picking up, I was greeted with a smile and greeting by the owners. My order was a Bibimbap Rice Bowl and Bulgogi Kimbap, and sides of kimchi, pickled radish, and miso soup were included for free. The inside is cute enough for a dinner date, I will definitely be returning with my boyfriend for dinner inside sometime. Everything was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and clearly homemade and authentic as I could taste the delicious love put into it. I'm a bit of a bibimbap connoisseur and lover. The Bibimbap dish is meatless with a bunch of egg and veg covering rice, absolutely delicious. I mixed in the kimchi and the gochujang (mild spicy sauce included in my takeout bag) and it was perfect. So delicious and fresh. Nice portions! Next time I will have to try the bulgogi rice bowl. (Update: I did and it's now my go-to favorite!) The Bulgogi Kimbap was also amazing, and I was impressed with how much came with my order. You could order this alone for lunch and be happy! Make sure to mix with kimchi and the spicy sauce. I will definitely be coming back for more and I'm confident that everything that is done here is done incredibly well and authentically. So happy this opened up in my neighborhood! I hope it continues to grow. Please check it out and support a small family owned business.

Portion size was surprisingly big in a good way. Bulgogi Bimbibap was good but the bulgogi was a bit too saucy/wet for me. It made the rice by that area wet. I was surprised how much my picky eater family enjoyed the food here! The service is very laid back, but that's ok, the food made up for everything else. The only negative was the bonchon at the start of the meal. I like when they offer more freshness like pickled radish and what not, this was on the heavier side with fried potatoes and something called "fish cake" that I would not recommend. The beef stir fry was a perfect meal, as far as I am concerned, containing my fave veggies (onions, mushrooms, carrots, cabbage). The flavor was spot on! My husband really enjoyed the bulgogi bibimbap; while I liked it too it wasn't one of my favorites and the rice wasn't crispy when we were served, like it usually is. When you are done you pay at the counter. Really "local" vibes and I highly recommend for the food!

My husband and I made a pitstop at the Cherry Hill Mall to use the restroom and on the way in we saw Kooma, with "martini bar" in the title. We were automatically intrigued. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a very pleasant staff. Since we did not want a full meal, we opted for a seat at the bar. My husband wanted to try a drink with peanut simple syrup, but unfortunately, the beverage was discontinued. Instead, he went with an Asian style old-fashioned. It was smoked using wood chips and was presented impeccably. Loved watching our bartender burn the chips on top of the drink to create the smoke in the glass. I selected a spicy, pineapple, passionfruit martini, which looked equally as beautiful as it was appetizing. For our snack, we selected the ceviche. Perhaps we didn't read the menu too closely, because this was a sweet ceviche with mango, instead of your traditional citrusy version we are used to. It was still very tasty, but the original style is my preference. Price wise, this place is a bit more on the expensive side, but you definitely feel the luxurious ambience in the atmosphere. Can't praise the bartenders/waiters enough enough. They were so attentive and sincerely friendly, which can be hard to find.

For dinner, I had the spicy Kooma Noodle with tofu. It was delicious but my only critique is that there was not enough tofu in it. I had maybe 3 or 4 small pieces in the dish. The veggies, noodles and sauce were all perfect though. One of my friends had the Kooma roll and said it was extremely fresh and delicious. I'd definitely go back. I really enjoyed the experience and it being at the mall means parking isn't too bad.
