Ambiance: Nice. Casual with a tiniest bit of upscale. Nice buildout. Service: very friendly. Had the feel of a neighborhood place with better trained serves. Food: Very good! Menu has a very wide selection, but not too many items to make your head spin. Everything was properly cooked. They have an interesting lunch and dinner menu too. I will definitely be back, parking permitted.

They have a bunch of cute outdoor seating, so we asked to sit out there. Rachel was our server and she was great - very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Avocado Scramble, but I made a couple of modifications. Unfortunately they forgot to address them, but Rachel took care of that right away and the dish was very good. My wife had the Eggs Benedict, her favorite breakfast dish. She said it was very good and she particularly liked the potatoes that came with it. One final note (and this was not reflected in my rating): the seating in the outdoor section is pretty tight and a couple with a large dog was seated next to us. I'm not a big fan of people bringing dogs to restaurants, but if they are well behaved, I can deal with it. Unfortunately, at one point this dog got excited by a dog coming by on the sidewalk and jumped up and started barking at the others dog, just inches away from me. It was quite startling and its owner was not particularly apologetic. With such a confined space, I think this establishment may want to reconsider whether it allows dogs in their outdoor seating area.

The servers are all well trained, and highly professional. The food is fantastic. The menu is the standout; it is very creative and has something for everyone. Let's start with their breakfast. This is probably the best breakfast/brunch place in town. Too bad they're only open weekends for breakfast. Whenever we have family back in town or friends from out of town, this is our go to place. Casual relaxed, friendly with quality food. If you haven't been here for breakfast, I would highly recommend it. The only comment I have is they don't open for breakfast until a little bit later in the morning. Usually, there is a line out out front waiting for them to open. We've had most things on the menu and to be truthful, not one thing has disappointed. Dinner: we don't get here too often for dinner because in my mind, this is our go to breakfast place. Last week we tried it for dinner and again, very pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the wait staff, the quality of the food, and the overall dining experience. Whoever transformed his place from a hipster beer hall to a quality dining experience did a great job. Kudos to them!

So I have to say that driving to this place makes you feel like you're in the wrong area but it's…read moreexactly where it says it is. The inside of this place looks amazing and the outside patio is even nicer, this is a very romantic looking restaurant. We went here for my wife's birthday and thought I would treat her to a nice restaurant for dinner and that's exactly what it was. Now the way their ordering process goes is a little confusing, I don't know if it was our waitress or it's just how things go but we ordered our drinks and then after they came Out with our drinks then they asked if we wanted an appetizer then after that came out they asked if we wanted a meal, so like I said I don't know if that's how they do it or it was just our waitress. So we ordered our drinks and I had a Smoked Old Fashioned, anywhere I go if I see that cocktail on the menu I order it, when it came out they had the smoke infuser on it and when they took it off the smoke just bellowed out, it tasted amazing, I have to say that it was a really good old fashioned. For an appetizer I had the Caesar Salad which tasted fresh, crunchy and just refreshing, the cheese was delicious and the dressing was really good. Next I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken added and it was very delicious, the noodles were soft, the chicken was delectable and the sauce was very flavorful. Everything from the ambience to the food here was flawless with the exception of some older gentleman that didn't stop talking the WHOLE time we were there, nothing we could do about that but everything was perfect and I would love to come back and try other meals. So a few things to point out is they offer valet parking for $12, they offer brunch & Breakfast every Saturday & Sunday and on the bill they add Gratuity (20%) on there already just so you know before heading there, most people freak out about not knowing this and I am here to tell you it is added, however, the food was worth every bit of it.

We were there for a special occasion (I added that to the reservation note); not the biggest deal, but we weren't asked about that at all. The drinks were decent, but not the best, and the same was true for the food. Some dishes were pretty good, including my husband's chicken parmesan, but others could have been better. We also tried the crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert, which was pretty good, but the brûlée top was gummy rather than crackable. Additionally, the plates themselves were somewhat hard to eat from as aesthetics seemed to come before functionality. No spoons set with the flatware, either, which should be standard for an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was good, and server was friendly, but service was a bit spotty for a relatively slow night. However, food and drinks arrived quickly. Our water glasses were not ever topped off, and when the busser did come by, the wrong plates were taken away; bread and oil were removed and our dirty/empty dishes left behind at the table. So, it was decent, but not quite the fine dining experience it purports to be. Hopefully it will get there, because it is a cool spot.

He made sure we saw their framed 2024 Award Winner Finalist for Best Breakfast by Click on Detroit - Channel 4. I had the jumbo cinnamon roll, french toast and fresh fruit. My dear girlfriend had the lobster benedict with the potatoes, tomato slices and cornbread. It was a great breakfast option because she doesn't eat meat. We both left here so full.
