Last night I went there with my family including 2 children and arrived about quarter before 8pm. First we asked if the children can be a la carte and they said NO that the entire table needs to match what they eat... fine. So all 6 of us went for the "all you can eat" menu. First of the 2 rounds we ordered and we were enjoying our time. Then Austin, our server reminded us that kitchen is closing and if we want to order, so we had placed a 2nd and our last round of order. Shortly after we received the trays and started cooking the 2nd round he told us that they're closing soon and gave us the check. We figured that okay, they need to close the register so we paid while we just started to eat the 2nd set of trays of uncooked ingredients. Our check included gratuity btw! Beside our table there was a Chinese girl that was dining by herself, she paid as well. Then she asked about doing a take out for her left overs, I overheard Austin tell her dine in only then they got quieter. Then Austin hands her couple containers. This prompted us to ask for containers as well because we wanted to not waste the food and try to get out of there sooner. When we asked Austin, he told us we had to pay $20 per person if we wanted to do a take out. We frowned on his answer because $120 extra to take home these trays of raw meat seafood and vegetable s for 6 persons were concerning. He walked away annoyed as we declined paying for the extra $20 per person and we resumed eating. Few minutes later, he came back and said that if we can't finish it we still had to go because they're close. No sign being apologetic or sensitivity. We had to pull the kids from eating we were with because how rude he was walking away after that one liner. So they refused to have us take the food? They were willing to waste all those ingredients? However, this place is beside two restaurants and as we got in our car, they all left the restaurants with bags of food'!!!!!! They were all carpooling together in a big dark van, as other workers came out w more bags of food to take home. There were containers in those bags that the employees were carrying! Yet we were forced to "waste" those ingredients that we paid for fully w gratuity. I hope they paid fully for those "take homes" I get that it's dine only, they should've said something when we sat down. They should've said something when they asked us to put in our 2nd round! We were told to pay $20 extra per person by Austin if we wanted to take the left overs home... and yet the girl across us did not pay for her take out! She already paid before she asked for a container. How was that fair? I've dined out a lot and never have I been kicked out without being allowed to finish our food. And we had kids with us! They showed no remorse!! We felt bad wasting all those food, then we see employees from all three restaurants in that plaza coming out with bags of food and they closed out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! And we drove an hour just to go to this restaurant! And the busboy said that the manager was Austin. SMH!! read more

It was my first time coming with my girlfriends. The ambience was pretty chill. The price of $23.99/person for AYCE is pretty good with a 2 hour limit - which is totally understandable. As far as the food, we got the Best Of Both World broth. I really favor the spicy bone marrow broth over the original; it was seasoned just right in my opinion. The thin sliced marbled fatty beef or beef brisket was good along with the mushrooms(enoki and king), veggies(sliced wintermelon, lettuce and water cress - my favorite )and balls(fish ball, cuttlefish balls and shrimp balls). I'm a big fan of Mongolian hotpot so I was happy to discover this restaurant nearby my hotel. As first, so confused about the entrance, I had to go surrounding there to make sure not enter the wrong one. There are only 3 rounds you can order food. I was so thoughtfully to chose all I wanted at the first round, we didn't want to bother the waiter once more time. They said time limited 2 hours. However, when we just ate 1 hr, the server kept walking by and stare at our table. That's so annoying. When the food had arrived, we were surprised cuz the portion of each one quite big. Alright let's get started! For those asking, what is hotpot...simply put its food for the soul on a cold day. Honestly it's amazing on a winter day but I digress. Hot pot = Chinese fondue. Instead of cooking with oil or cheese, you boil food in a broth. Broth is one of the best in Chicago. Love the sauces they serve with it, a bean/Chinese BBQ sauce mix and garlic/oil. Ingredients we're amazingly fresh. Definitely get the beef, pork belly (bacon), and some of the fish, shrimp, and meat balls. Did I mention there's an ayce for hot pot? Only negative which I am not going to take away stars for is the price. $24 for all you can eat seems to be on the high end when you can get the same for about 17-18 in Chinatown.......HOWEVER, we are talking about Roselle...I'll spend the extra $6 bucks for a shorter drive, excellent food, and good service! Service was good and veggies looks fresh but the quality of ingredients are very poor, I think. First, broth has no taste at all. So I must use more dipping sauce to eat. I asked them for sesame paste sauce but it isn't real sesame paste. I think they originally made or whatever sesame style sauce but it tastes like peanut sauce. And I taste meat smells funny..... I don't think it's spoiled but smell bad and I can tell it's not fresh. Anyhow, my friend I got sick after. I got Massive headache for all night, (maybe from MSG??), puke and stomach pain. When you go to one of these chinese hot pot style places and order the spicy broth as your soup base, there's always a chance of biting into one of these ridiculously numbing peppercorn or what not. I am so happy to discover this new place. We had a party of 9 including 3 kids. All the servers were very attentive, approachable, and easygoing despite the good amount of customers. The AYCE option for hotpot did not disappoint. Every item we ordered from the meats to the veggies were fresh and of high quality.the portions are very generous so place yourself. Don't forget to try the hot buns. My family ordered like 20 of them and couldn't stop eating them. They come out warm and yummy. I'd order it after the meal as they are more of a dessert. We went there on Friday night around 8pm. Just want to try out new place. First, when I got to the place it very confusing. I couldn't find the entrance. Actually, to get to Hot Pot Delight, you have to go through Mexican bar. It's not a big place, but I got seat right away because it wasn't a busy night. We do AYCE which you can order 3 round. We ordered quite a lot in the first round because I thought it would be small portions, but it's amazingly big portions. The Soup broth is good, but I prefer salty, so I have to put more soy sauce in my soup. The food is good, pork meet is good, vegetable is fresh. But for some reason the last round we order vegetable, they didn't wash the vegetable thoroughly because there was some dirt in the vegetable still. It might just because they were closing, so they were rushing. Most of all, this place is pretty decent hot pot place to try! read more

To enter you must go through the Mexican restaurant next door. They are connected and owners must own both restaurants. The hot pot is all you can eat and you can choose between 3 different broths. You can check off what you want to order and the server will bring it out to you. The sauces are self serve and you have to go to the back of the restaurant to get it yourself. I found that a little odd that they allow everyone to get their own sauces. They didn't seem to have safety measures in place especially with covid. Just tried to eat here, saw server eating at back table didnt even bother to help me. The server from marias next door sat me down, then the server who was eat came up to me and said i cant order all you can eat because they were closing soon and all i can get was ala cart. It was only 8:25pm and yelp says they are open till 930pm. Guess they arent really hurting for business since they didn't want mine. They have a sauce bar! Although it's lacking some of the more traditional sauces like chili oil or chive sauce... the spicy stay stay sauce good and the garlic is very strong in the best way!
