Enter Osaka Hibachi -- our new go-to Japanese steakhouse. It has everything you'd expect: great ambiance, a fun hibachi "show," a full menu with steak, chicken, scallops, and all the classics, plus soup, salad, rice, and veggies included. The flavors are excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive without hovering. And the price... incredible. We were seated immediately and given menus. Our waiter returned about 10 minutes later with water and to take our order. Carry out is always busy so yeah it took a little while to get our food. Food never disappoints but service tonight was not up to what it has been. Once our food was served no one checked back to see if it was ok, our water was never replenished and at the end of the meal we had to flag down a waiter to get a check and a to go box. We had a gift certificate and our waiter was unsure how to process it. Another wait time ensued. In the past on a Friday night there have been 2-3 wait staff in the floor. Yes, it's a small restaurant but when it's busy they need the extra help. I'll keep coming back because I love their food but the service has to step it up. Train the servers on how to check on tables, refill water and be present when the table is nearing the end of their meal. When serving another table don't ignore the tables already served and right next to where you are standing.
