Ryan and Antonio showed up on time, with a huge truck, wrapped and moved all our stuff quickly, and carefully. They took everything up the stairs and set it in each room very nicely and assembled the beds perfectly! It took so much stress off my shoulders and made my life a lot easier. DO... NOT... USE.. THESE... MOVERS!!!!!!! I hired HOT SHOT on 05/12/25 to move me on 05/15/25. They wrapped all of our furniture in plastic and did not use any protective blankets or wraps. And as a result of their lack of integrity and carelessness HOT SHOT MOVERS LITERALLY DAMAGED EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE WE OWN!!!! I am a 50 yr old disabled veteran with a messed up back, so it took me some time to go through everything. Not to mention all of my furniture is extremely heavy and they left everything piled up in the living room. I contacted the owner, Ryan, on 05/28/25 when I noticed they broke the mirror to our bedroom suite. He refused to take responsibility saying I had 48 hours to report the damages... A bedroom suite that cost me $4k and I am SOL!! And the dining room table and chairs I bought from Haverty's for $3,500 is junk now!!!! I've used ATX Movers (a Veteran-owned company) for my previous 2 moves and NEVER had an issue. I wanted to use them again for this move but could never seem to get them on the phone so I went with these guys. I regret it!!!! You work hard to buy something just to have a trash company like HOT SHOT MOVERS destroy it and then tell you they would have only paid out damages at $0.60 per pound (if they would have paid)... And because you didn't report it within 48 hours you're sh*t out of luck!!! Lying pieces of crap!!! I told your boys they damaged my furniture. Lawsuit will be filed F u!!!!! read more

From the first conversation with Ryan until Completion of the move, I was highly impressed with Hot Shots. They took the time to ensure my furniture was securely wrapped. Ryan profusely apologized because they were 1 hr late due to last customer underestimating amount of move. Other than that it took 3.5 hrs to move 2 rooms from Cedar Park to Jerrell, TX. I was optimistic at first because the quote was so much lower than the rest but Ryan explained they are new to the business and I wanted to give them a chance. Well they knocked it out of the park. These guys were amazing!! Communicative, friendly, and careful. They moved my things from my house in Austin to a storage unit in Wichita Falls. I have to admit, I waited to unpack all my things to ensure everything was still intact to give an honest review and they get 5 stars! I had worked with Hot Shots Moving company, Ryan Lemcke,  a couple of times previously before my moved on June 28, 2020.  Once as a 3rd party contracted  through my moving company for across country move to Texas , then I contacted them for pickup of some items from Sam's.Therefore, I thought Hot Shots Moving Company would be a good choice to go with eventhough they were higher than the  moving companies in my area. I was WRONG, with my last move, Ryan Lemcke was so unprofessional.  The 1st thing was when I called him I requested a quote.  He gave me a verbal quote that the move should only take at most 6 hours with moving a 2200 square  feet  home 15 miles to the new location, it took them 2 trips and 9 hours. I should have gotten a written quote with pricing, estimate time for move, and insurance information. My mistake and it will not happen again. The 2nd issue, they caused damage to my new refrigerator and  regarding the payment process for my move. Ryan Lemcke complained how tired he and his 2 other  workers were from moving me; and that he didn't received a tip after he dented/damaged my new refrigerator. I paid him $1325.00 in cash and I had to request a receipt from him for the cash payment he received from me.  I felt why should I tip when he dented my refrigerator. Ryan tried his best not to pay for the repair for my refrigerator.  He asked me to contact Samsung to check if the damage would be covered under my warranty, which it wasn't.  Then he tried to negotiate the cost for the repair of my AC by his "mutual relationship",  a friend, for $60.00 for the repair cost of $387.00 for my refrigerator. To make a long  story short he didn't want to pay for the repairs for my refrigerator. After several emails  back and forth with him trying to weasel out from paying for the repair, I finally told him I would accept $300.00. Then he told me he will only pay me if I don't leave a bad review. WTF, I thought I live in  America the land of free speech!!!!! I would have rated them no starts if I could have. read more

Yesterday Mr. Ryan and Kevin came out to move my heavy heavy dresser, mattress, oversized mirror and headboard, along with the Chester Drawer, 2side tables, 2 piece China hut, Curio, box freeze, 2 fans, 4 bar stool chairs, 1 chair, and a few boxes @$330 which a well spent.
