Four bedroom three bath home but only one person living in it so there had to be some concessions made, and the pricing could not just reflect the square footage Michael was in charge of our move as we ended up choosing them to complete the task. They were not the cheapest nor were the most expensive.. they arrived promptly at 8:30 as promised with three gentlemen to do the move. All supplies were included we had several delicate items, including some very large screen TVs, some large decorator mirrors. And then abundance of other items, more traditional, like your refrigerator, freezer and washer and dryer. They were very nice and very easy to work with. They were very respectful. We had somewhat of a situation going on and they worked through it with us. They worked consistently for about 5 1/2 hours which included a flat fee service charge and then an hourly rate for three men After they loaded everything that needed to go to climate controlled storage, they also loaded a flatbed trailer to go to personal storage and then drove the moving truck to the storage units we had chosen in Cedar Park. I thought they did an amazing job and I would hire them again in a heartbeat!! When I went to talk to the storage people and obtain the key and lock, they commented on how nice the moving men that came were and how hard they worked to get everything in that 10 x 10 storage space. It barely fit I'm not sure how they did it, but I was so relieved . I'm so sorry. I don't remember all three gentlemen's names, but they were all fantastic. They worked well together, combining teams to do the wrapping and padding of delicate items. They also were very kind and waited for me to clean out and clean up the refrigerator before they moved it. Thanks so much, In N out Movers !!!! We'll see you again for our move and we will certainly let everybody we know that you did an amazing job !!!

You see, these smiling faces work for NorthStar Moving Company, and we all know the employees are the one that makes the company. David and his coworker/friend could have rushed up 38 stairs to quickly unload my things because they were heavy, but nope, they took their time coming upstairs to make sure nothing got damaged. Now mind you, they could have rushed because the NorthStar guys in San Jose, Ca, wrapped my things so securely nothing could have gotten broken. And David, here in Texas, encouraged me to count my boxes as they brought them inside my place to make sure all my things had made it! Another great thing about Northstar is, it only took 7 days for my things to arrive, the pick-up was Monday from California, and the delivery date was Sunday in Houston, Texas. I have to give so much praise to Lorena, I booked this move in March, but it wasn't going to be until May. She stayed in contact with me every step of the way. I was giving stuff away in those two months, and Lorena would change my quote without any problem. Another thing Lorena did, she gave me information about a reliable car service to have my car transported to Texas, and that was quick too. My car was picked up on Friday from California and delivered on Tuesday in Houston! I will always use NorthStar, and I do have another big move coming again.

They were PROFESSIONAL MOVERS and I see the difference now that I watched them in action. I recently used another local moving service. They forgot items, broke my tabletop, and at the end of the move, shoved an iPad in my face which prompted me to tip them 15, 20, or 25%. I had already given them $50 each and then got hit to tip them on the total cost of the move. There was NONE of that with Northstar. Four guys showed up, worked VERY HARD, and then left with no expectation of a tip. They also left my house spotless. Granted this was AFTER their estimator came a week before. But no worries. Everyone showed up. All the guys wrapped, and moved our 2k sqft home into our new 4k sqft home. Lots of guys, lots of boxes. We even had a drink with the remaining crew after because they were so cool and good. 4-ish scratched or damaged pieces. 4 scratched chairs that were suposed to be wrapped but were not (photo proof). and 1 cracked cabinet. The mover guy said "I am sooo sorry I broke that". He was genuinely sorry. Here's where the problems start. We paid for the extra damage insurance/waver thing. Extra money per pound. They said they could not do ANYTHING about the scratched items... ok. WTF. But what about the cracked cabinet? They wanted to either fix it for 5 WEEKS (LOL) or give us $250. It's a 300lb piece of furniture. I am not letting you carry it back downstairs and keep it for 5 weeks for the "possibility of repair" then carry it back up. The damage to the house alone wouldn't be worth that. This goes against the contract they had signed. It's been 2 months of communication with Killian. 2 months since the move. Caution all looking to move with College hunks. Hit or miss. Mover guys = great. management and claims department = horrible.

Getting the appointment set was incredibly easy and convenient, the owner was very responsive and I was appreciative of their ability to work with my schedule. They broke an expensive lamp and their crew didn't seem to care at all. They left random items behind and didn't care for my items when moving. It took much less than their two hour minimum but I still paid the two hour minimum. There's tons of movers out there - use another one. Unfortunately these guys are great until the actual job itself, in my experience.

On the second move the remote to my sleep number bed was lost. It was clearly packed, but was placed on the floor of the truck and was not there when unpacking occurred. The guys immediately called into Jacob with the information to replace it.....that was 5 weeks ago and numerous texts and calls. I think I can safely assume by now that Jacob telling me he is checking his emails to find out what happened, is not happening. I would hesitate to recommend them, because a remote is a relatively small thing, but what if major damage occurred....would the client just be out of luck? Based on my experience they would be.

I recently hired Leon Moving LLC to assist with moving my newly purchased Mahogany bed, and…read moreunfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arriving to pick up my furniture I was told by an employee of theirs by the name of "Zach" that the owner was out of town and they'd only take cash. Not knowing any better I accepted. They caused significant damage to my mahogany bed during the moving process. Despite my attempts to address the issue with the company, I was met with inadequate responses and a lack of accountability. It's disheartening to see a lack of professionalism and care for customers' belongings from a company that claims to provide quality moving services. In the end they denied accountability due to the owner being out of town. I would caution anyone considering hiring Leon Moving LLC to proceed with caution and thoroughly research their options before entrusting them with their belongings. The damage to my property and the company's lackluster response have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend Leon Moving LLC based on my experience.
