    CRANBERRY TURKEY CLUB PANINI
    Al U.

Oh the craving for a nini is never ending and it was strong tonight. Those behind the counter have impeccable sandwich skills and craftsmanship. Ordered the special: turkey cranberry panini to remind me of the weird thanksgiving I had this year. While my thanksgiving was not ideal, this panini was. The combination of sweet and savory gave me goosies. Overall eating experience deserves a round of applause and kiss

If I could give this establishment 6 stars I would! Great Staff, great ambiance, I recommend the Santa Fe veggie. The raspberry lemonade is to die for.

We have been coming here for the past 2 years or so. Love the customization and freshness of the ingredients. Service has always been friendly making well layered and warm panini's which I had hardly had before this place. The soups I've had which were the tomato and chicken noodle are okay. Great drop-in spot in the area.

Wow! I was very impressed by this place. Loved the freshness and how cheap it was. Can't wait to come back and try their soups and salads!

Hot table panini never disappoints!! (Except for the fact they're not open on Sunday's ) bread is such high quality and each panini I've gotten from here has always come out grilled and toasted to perfection. My faves are the steak and cheese panini and the chicken Parm. Both are so good! Paninis come in S/M/L sizes and employees do a great job stuffing them to ensure you're getting your money's worth. I also love that you can customize or build your own as you see fit and they do have great options for ingredients. Truly a gem of a spot!!

containers for your left=overs are out for your taking- pretty cool idea!

Hot Table is the real deal, and apparently they are growing in popularity. Enfield, Glastonbury, and Hadley. I had visited the Enfield location a few times, so I was familiar with the menu choices and some of the ins and outs of ordering. Basically, this is very similar to the Subway model- you pick a sandwich size, pick a sandwich bread (roll or ciabatta) add a protein -roast beef or turkey or ham or chicken or tuna, and add whatever mix of condiments and veggies appeals to you. At the end of the assembly line, your work of art gets the Panini Press treatment. I had a small Shaved Steak on ciabatta with horseradish mayo, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, red onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, and green peppers. It cost $6.29 and was a freaking work of art. Just delicious. I also added a small turkey gumbo soup for $3 and I was very surprised at how good it was. It was piping hot, super tasty, and chock full of rice and big hunks of juicy turkey. The servers were all sweet as can be, and I'm guessing there were a lot of UMass students there earning a few bucks. There was a bit of a back-up at the end of the line, it looked like the sandwiches were coming down the line faster than they were coming off the panini press, but the staff figured things out pretty quick and there was really no annoying delay. Yay, I am a big fan of this up and coming chain!

The café here, West Street Coffee & Tea, uses their square footage to pack a few tables, and a bookshelf or two with possibly the proprietor's gifted collection for customers to read. The West Street Coffee & Tea helps you feel at home stopping in for some coffee, a selection of a quick breakfast sandwich, a pastry from the bakery across the parking lot, or some other treat. I have enjoyed a quality and consistency of service, not only filling out punches on my loyalty card, but appreciating both my drinks and my meal. The kitchen staff has served me quickly when they are not my talented cashier and barista as well--though do consider this a compliment worth tipping the staff for their ability to know how to run a café in part or in whole. The West Street Coffee & Tea boasts a humble parking lot, but the sizable line of parking spaces allows cars to park and then usually drive forward to depart. This fits that the five to six tables are set well in each of the rooms they rest, with ample light from the interior and exterior. I could imagine the drink staff would keep up with a variety of orders that are park and departing, so be mindful that there is parking at other corners of the plaza rotary on busy hours like at other restaurants within Amherst. Busses do travel by, and I'd suppose those from the PVTA that go between Amherst and Hampshire might even stop here. For a quite accessible location, I can only imagine they enjoy being a secret delight of this area of south and east Amherst.

Eating in their food area, making a food order with their cashier, or even using their digital menu, all are friendly, comfortable, and accommodating. They serve halal meats, too, which eases my conscience and my ordering options from their menu, including fresh and crispy french fries. What sets this place apart from a local or fast food burger joint, however, is the love for the experience of their food that Royal Chicken & Kebab offers. Receiving your food order from them is a delight. From the way each meal is wrapped, boxed, or sealed, to the way their burgers and subs look unwrapped. I recall the days I used to enjoy a messy local Philly Cheesesteak sub at whatever local sandwich shop I would be at, where the price wasn't about the love and care specifically, as there needed to be an overwhelming level of meat--like, get yourself dirty on a date level as the wrapper was soggy and flowing with cheese. That is part of a local Philly cheese experience, and here, I felt the love for the flavors brought to a wider community, if not the whole world. Here, our local cooks and chefs still make a sub full of steak, cheese, and peppers, but just enough to fit neatly and appealingly within their foil wraps. Each bite of the slightly warm and crispy bun reveal to me how much I still love the flavors of the experience, and don't need the sub to be my only sustenance. You can get your meal with a side of fries and a drink, for example. Royal Chicken & Kebab has a welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail in the quality of their meals, and has yet to let me down in price or service. I could see anyone, from families, to groups of friends late at night enjoying a meal here. Thank you for your work, Royal!

The line was long but it moved surprisingly fast. I do wish they offered samples and this time they were missing some of the more unique flavors that I like to try. Kiddo and Wifey got the Orange Pineapple, and they both loved it. The best part was that it wasn't overly sweet. It was light, fruity, refreshing, and the pineapple pieces throughout gave it great texture. My mom got half raspberry and half pineapple from the non dairy sorbet options and really enjoyed both. I went with the Black Raspberry Chip and it was so good. This is that old-school ice cream I grew up with. If you've had it before, you know exactly what I mean. That said, after trying another place just three minutes away, I do think that other ice cream is creamier. I personally prefer a creamier texture, while my wife likes a firmer scoop, so it really comes down to preference. One thing to know before ordering: when they say "one scoop" they really mean one scoop. Don't expect an oversized serving. There are chickens and cows roaming around the farm, which adds to the experience. The animals looked happy, and while seating is limited, there are both indoor and outdoor places to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Overall, this is still a great stop and one I've enjoyed for years. This place is well worth visiting for the farm atmosphere, beautiful views, and classic homemade ice cream.
