I'd like to give feedback as the seller of the Hot tub referenced by the first reviewer. From my experience Hot Tub Taxi acted as professionals throughout the removal process and took special care during the move to not only prevent damage to the my home and deck area but from my observation the hot tub as well. When I read the first reviewer, I believe the major complaint is in not receiving the electrical box. To be clear, the hot tub was never advertised online to include anything other than the tub. I voluntarily gave the Buyer remaining cleaning supplies and maintenance products as I had no need for them. However, the Buyer did express interest in also taking the box and at the time I wasn't completely sure If I should keep it or not but I did agree. And although Hot Tub Taxi gave advice that helped me to see other uses for this box, ultimately it was my decision to make and shouldn't reflect negatively on the movers. I cannot speak directly to the other concerns listed but only to give my thoughts on the interaction I had with said company and from my experiences wouldn't hesitate to use their services in the future. read more

Hot Tub Taxi was wonderful! I had not a clue where to start looking for somebody to get rid of an old hot tub that we got with the house we bought and never used. I called a pool and spa repair company, Quality, who referred me to Hot Tub Taxi. The cover on the tub we inherited leaked and it was full of water, mold, mosquitoes, and mess. They came and checked it out and gave me price the same day I called them. I called them back the next day and they were able to fit me in the same day since they were doing another job close by. It turned out that it was totally rotten on the bottom, water-logged insulation inside, and it had mice inside which was a feeding ground for snakes! YUCK! They did a complete disconnect of the electrical hook-up which was wonderful. They loaded and hauled away the tub and all the old electric and pieces. Nothing left for me to deal with except sweeping up some old insulation foam and dirt. Don't buy a used hot tub, or even look at a free one, until you have them check it out first. We could not be more pleased with the service we received from the crew! My wife and I wanted a hot tub but didn't want to spend $7000-$13000 for a new one. We wanted to purchase one for my bad back but didn't know how we were going to get it to our house and on our deck. We live about 120 miles from the Raleigh area, so we were surprised to find out they would come all the way here and get it into place for us. Not only were they able to move it for us the next business day, they have been extremely helpful since delivering it by answering any questions I've had as this is the first hot tub I've owned and the price was completely worth the ease and convenience. I had been dealing with a different company in the area trying to get the hot tub delivered for over a month. I took off work three different times on days they scheduled and waited for them. They never showed. Communication was terrible each time I tried to call. I was pretty upset until Hot Tub Taxi got involved. They are hands down the best choice for hot tub and spa delivery to Fayetteville, NC. Darius Clark called and was extremely professional and helpful in getting the spa delivered ASAP when I had already waited for so long. A used hot tub became available at a great price that was not very old and in good shape. Hot Tub Taxi moved it for us on very short notice. They were very fast and professional. They used specialty pro tools like a heavy metal leverage lifter bar on small wheels and metal dollies with large wheels to do the job well and safely so that it only took 3 of them and they were able to handle a 7ft by 7ft square tub and make it look easy. And most importantly, there was excellent communication throughout the process. I first contacted them on Friday, met with the seller on Saturday and then the move was completely done between 8am~10am on Monday! We had originally talked about scheduling it later in the week but when that time spot opened up they called me first thing Monday morning and communicated directly with the seller as well. read more

If you want a spa mover that does not answer their phone, has a voice mail box that says "full" when you call, and then fails to show up to move your spa, then Hot Tub Taxi is the mover for you! My experience was almost identical to David K's below except they did not even show up to move my spa after several people took off work to meet them. There were no calls from them either before or after the scheduled pick-up to explain what happened. When we tried calling several times...no one answered. I should have spent more time looking for a mover when the poor communication problems with Hot Tub Taxi was obvious. Now I have done that and find there are several legitimate businesses that can do this. Hot Tub Taxi gives the impression they are not a legitimate business. read more

What an awesome experience! My first hot tub purchase, which happened to be from craigslist, which is also where I found this company. Super nice people. Very easy to communicate with. As a buyer I felt confident using them and the person that I bought the tub from was super impressed and happy to have a professional move the 800lb tub off of his property without any damage or worries.
